I did burn circuit 1 today. i have a question- did anyone else struggle with the push ups??? I even have trouble with the modified ones. What size weights did everyone start with???
im starting the last phase on monday and i always have a hard time with the pushups. don't worry though, you will get better. that would be a hint that there is more to come lol

If you're having problems with the modifier in CLX, you can modify them further to work up to the knee pushups. You can do pushups against a wall...then move to pushups against a counter (angle your body with your feet back so that your body is in a straight line with your back flat). If you have a weight bench, you can also angle yourself to do pushups with your hands on the edge of the bench and do them either on your toes or your knees. Once you're strong enough, you can move on to the floor.

Sorry to say I haven't worked out since Thanksgiving day! I caught a virus that kicked my tu-tu and am just now feeling kinda normal again. Hope to get back on track tomorrow.
Idealmuse-I was just finishing my 4th week-first round. Congratulations on your progress! You have done an amazing job with yourself!
Dairyou-happy to hear about your progress as well. People can be so silly.
By 2008, I had gone down from 225 to 155-52 by using TJ and spinning. In 2 years I have gained about 30 something pounds and I am currently in 187. I feel horrible because I thought I was going to be able to maintain, but school work and motherhood created some conflicts. I admit it was my own fault though. I was the one who didn't exercise. I was the one who didn't put enough effort. Now, I am in this thread because I want to exercise again. I want to become healthy and stay healthy. The 3FC community helped me so much to lose the weight- I hope it can happen again.
I have purchased CX, and I want to do some sort of hybrid by following the EXACT calendar of CX plus ABS from P90X, light jogging and a fat blaster or CPR from TJ. I just loved Chalene J!
I'm new at this forum and I'm exited how great are you all doing with CX.
I'm coming to the end of Lean phase (2 more weeks) and I'm going to complete 90 days!! Wow!! Later I'm going to start P90x because now I feel strong enough to do it.
My CX should be here anyday now, been following these threads with interest! I think I work out more than anyone I know, but my body is stubborn! I've been overweight since I was a teenager. I lost 8 lbs a couple months before my wedding 3 years ago with TJ, and I've always said "ONLY 8 LBS"... but i guess that was better than nothing! I've tried everything else, including hcg (only a temporary 'fix', in my experience). Oh, wait, I DID lose 40 lbs in my early 20s by jogging TWICE a day! Of course it is hard to keep up that INTENSITY long-term!
Anyhow, I don't want to be a downer, just trying to focus on all the great things working out does for your bod, even if stellar results are fleeting and few! And trying to have fun at it, too!
I also, like you, Giovanna, want to mix up CX with some HIIT - using jogging/walking,racquetball and TJ Fatburner/Bootysculpt for the cardio right now.
Anyhoo, my DVDS should be here any day now. Would anyone like to start with me???
Hey y'all! I'm 2 weeks into Burn Circuit. I absolutely love her workouts. I'm 22 and 207ish pounds. I haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks because I like to weigh myself only once a month, I feel its less aggravating. But I feel like I've lost a little bit inch wise all over my body. I really hope so. I'm able to stick to the schedule pretty well because I'm out of school right now and I don't have to work when there isn't any school. I want to say I'm going to try to stick to it when school starts back, but I'm not going to say that. I'm going to say I AM going to stick to it when school starts back. I have to for my life. P.S. I did a bazillion bicep curls today. How many did you do?
I also haven't been on scale since I started CX. My guides are measurements and nonstretch trousers. :-) I don't want stick with numbers because the low number of weight loss can easily discourage me what I don't want. And all muscles are heavier than fat so scale is not the right indicator.
I've read in some places that some people say they gained a couple of pounds during the first month because of the muscle gain. So when I weight myself at the end of the month if I've gained a couple of pounds I'm not going to cry. But I think it'll show in the measurements.
First time posting in this thread, but I'm 1.5 weeks away from completing CLX (i.e. I'm on week 2.5 of Lean) I've lost 22 lbs already which I'm very happy about.
This is without question the longest I have stayed on a particular regime. And what I'm thrilled about is that the weight has come off so evenly from all over my body. Do you know what I mean? A few other times that I've tried to lose weight by eating less (which does not mean eating healthy!) or sporadically exercising, I NEVER lost inches around my thighs and hips. And I'm a pear so those are the places that I was most conscious about. But this time thankfully the inches have come off from everywhere.
As words of encouragement, I will tell you this, for the first couple of weeks of the program, my weight used to be slightly higher than my official starting figure. But by the end of the first phase, I definitely lost weight and inches.
I've made my mom start this program as well, and she's on week 3, and she's seen the numbers on the scale go up as well, even though she seems smaller to me and she has definitely lost a few inches. So if you are seeing an increase, just dont stop! This is a fantastic program if you just continue and stick with it!

This is my last week on the Push circuit. So what will you do next? Are you still trying to lose weight or inches? Will you take a break?
I purchased Slim in 6 and will start that after a week break. I maybe will do Chalean 2 days during the week so I don't loose all my muscle. They say if you don't keep it up for two weeks you'll start to loose the muscle.

I've just finished my 2nd week!! I weighed myself this morning and I was a pound heavier than when I first started. I've been calorie counting and I know I've been burning more than I'm eating. So I'm really really oping that its muscle. The good thing is that I think I've lost about a half inch in each my waist, hips, thighs and arms. So I think 2 inches all over in 2 weeks is pretty good. So wish me luck on the next 2 weeks to finish off the Burn Phase
