dairyou Thanks for your response! I loved the Push phase.
I'm at 187 lbs at the moment (I'm 5'8), so I'm definitely still overweight and need to lose lbs and inches. I'm so happy with the CLX program. I've realized that I really enjoy weight lifting, so I definitely want to continue with that. So I've decided that after I complete the Lean phase, I'm going to take a week off (not in terms of total exercise, but just a week off CLX) and then begin again. But next time, I will just to the weight training circuits and replace the cardio days with cardio routines from another program.
I don't want to quit CLX because I do see a lot of indentations on my arms and just a tiny bit of sculpting, so I'm really excited to see how they would look if I continue building muscle with Chalean. And like you said, I don't want to lose the muscle that I've worked so hard for. So I figure another round wont hurt me
How is the Push phase going so far? I think that was my favorite phase because thats when I lost the most! Good luck and I hope you're enjoying it!!
ihavethemusicinme Congratulations on losing those inches!!! Don't you just love how you lose inches all over? 2 inches in 2 weeks is not just pretty good, its fantastic! You will see that it is just the beginning.
I don't know the science behind why the scale goes up - but what you said about muscle gain seems to make sense. I wouldn't be too concerned with what the scale says as long as you are following a healthy eating plan and you still see the inches drop.
You may not want to do this, but I may as well share, that I did the Burn phase for 5 weeks. Just because I had never lifted weights before and I felt that my form wasn't too good the first week. I'm making my mom do that too. Just an FYI.
For me, there came a point when my weight was just stagnant. And I didn't seem to be losing inches either. And my eating was just alright - not great. But I just continued and with a little more time, and then with a teeny tiny improvement in my eating, the weight (and inches!) just seem to literally melt away. Literally, I would see a little decrease every single day. So if you're ever at a point (not saying you will be, but just in case!) where nothings changing, just continue! And you will be sooo proud of the outcome!
I'm so happy that there are people out there that I can talk to about how I'm doing on this program. Some days are harder than others, but the results are so worth it.
Hope to hear updates from all of you! xo
