If anyone on this thread is 5'5" or 5'6", I need your help! I am currently 150, losing weight from my pregnancy. My pre-preg weight was 142 and at that weight, I wore a size 8. My ultimate goal is 125. My best friend is getting married in September, and I need to buy a dress. I am hoping to be 130 lbs by then. Can anyone here tell me what size you were at that weight? 6? 4?
^This is just a guess, but I'd say you'll probably be a size 6. In general it takes about 10lbs to lose a dress size. I'm 5'8, 130lbs, and a size 4-6, depending.
126 for the past three days, but there were huuuuge meatballs over the weekend, and now that I'm back in the office, packing my own lunch and counting every last calorie, I'm hoping I can whittle that number down over the next couple of weeks.
I seem to be having a post TOM whoosh and was down to 126 on the scale this morning. I hope the rest of the 120s go as smoothly. So far it's been much easier than the 130s at least, where every 1lb felt like it took gargantuan effort.
I'm mostly writing this to keep myself encouraged. Last year around this time is was around 140. In August of 2011 I had gotten down to around 130 and I looked great. I teach and this school year was treacherous so I lost and gained. At my lowest I was 119 at my highest 131.8. So my goal is to be at least 115 by the time the school year begins. It's been a year and 4 months since I started my journey. I cant believe i'm here. I really need to post picture.
As of this morning, 124. So happy that I've dropped below 125. My lowest adult weight was 117 and that was a few years ago. I'm looking forward to being that weight again.
