No problem! There are four phases, the first one being the attack phase. You can eat unlimited lean meat, eggs, fat free dairy and a tablespoon of oatbran a day. You do that for up to 10 days I think, depending on how much you have to lose, but I only lasted 3 days! You can then add in vegetables ever 2nd day for the second phase, until you reach your goal weight. After that you can add in one piece of fruit and various other things for a certain time. And finally go back to "normal eating" with one pure protein day a week. I havent followed it strictly...I was away working on a cruise ship for 2 weeks etc so my eating went a bit off then, but I only gained a pound or 2! And I recently did another few days of the attack phase to boost my weight loss last week and dropped 2.5 pounds.
I have NEVER been able to follow a diet before, but this has been so effective for me which made me stick to it! I honestly cant recommend it enough (and no, Im not hired by Mr Dukan to say that!).
