Hi everyone!
I am completely new here
I feel a little strange joining in after about 200 posts have been written but I've just joined and I've been stuck at 125-129 for the past year or so. Granted, it's a healthy weight so I haven't made HUGE efforts to get below 120, especially since I get pressure from everyone around me to stay exactly where I am. But I'm buckling down! I'm very pear shaped and once I hit below 125 my hips and thighs start slimming down and I just feel more comfortable in my clothes (and I don't have to get pants taken in at the waist!). I'm also a runner, so a few less pounds mean I become faster and my joints hurt less.
I love to cook, eat, and work out!
I eat very clean almost all the time but I do have a severe sweet tooth... My goal this month is to cut out white sugar, which has worked well with me in the past, and to keep working on portion control and mindless eating.
Good luck everyone with the scale shock that comes with excess water weight...
I know there's a lot of that going around right now. I retain water very easily so I'm not even weighing myself. I just know from how I feel and how my clothes fit that I'm back at 130!
