Anxious that Christmas will derail my progress!
I am currently right on 125 (I keep going up a little and back down because of social engagements) - I can't seem to get below 125... but since I just started 'my time of the month' I am hoping that I will get a whoosh of weight loss if I keep eating well and drinking lots of water over the next couple of days. I would like to be at 124 before I get together with my family, because even if I gain a couple of pounds I will be at a better starting weight.

Helloooo, ladies! I'm going to pop right back on in here after being gone for a while. I have GOT to stop yo-yo dieting. Time to pick up some new, healthy habits that will last me.

I'm sitting on 122.6 right now. I don't know how much of that is water/food weight, so I don't know if I'll be seeing any differences eventually, but I'm looking to get out of here by the end of the month.

Hi everyone!

I am completely new here

I feel a little strange joining in after about 200 posts have been written but I've just joined and I've been stuck at 125-129 for the past year or so. Granted, it's a healthy weight so I haven't made HUGE efforts to get below 120, especially since I get pressure from everyone around me to stay exactly where I am. But I'm buckling down! I'm very pear shaped and once I hit below 125 my hips and thighs start slimming down and I just feel more comfortable in my clothes (and I don't have to get pants taken in at the waist!). I'm also a runner, so a few less pounds mean I become faster and my joints hurt less.

I love to cook, eat, and work out! I eat very clean almost all the time but I do have a severe sweet tooth... My goal this month is to cut out white sugar, which has worked well with me in the past, and to keep working on portion control and mindless eating.

Good luck everyone with the scale shock that comes with excess water weight... I know there's a lot of that going around right now. I retain water very easily so I'm not even weighing myself. I just know from how I feel and how my clothes fit that I'm back at 130!

Finally under 125 - I feel like it has been FOREVER that I have been right at the cusp. But I weighed in today at 124.6! This also means that I am over half way out of the 120s!!! Woohoo!

Okay I am new in here too. I have been 128 for a couple of months now and I took a break over the holidays. I went kind of crazy with my diet but luckily I didn't gain anything. I am dying to get out of the 120s even though I am still pretty happy to finally be here! How are you guys trying to lose these last pounds?

I'm back after 4 weeks away on holiday. 121lb this morning but after 3 days of travelling to get home i'll be dehydrated so more weight to be added on in next couple of days i suspect.

Drank alcohol most days on hol, and ate heaps of fat laden stuff, which was slightly offset by 6hr skiing a day so overall i've put on around 4lb i'd say, which isn't bad considering.

Looking forward to getting back to a clean diet and feeling good about myself in 2012.

Great to see some new faces round here - good luck with your goals everyone and keep posting......

Weighed in today at my lowest weight since university! 122 . . . getting close to the teens!

Hello! I'm back after a few months off the rails. I'm 3 days into my diet again and I'm DETERMINED. In fact, I just bought a pair of weighing scales. :P As a student that's quite a lot of alcohol money, so I'm going to make sure that I make the most out of them! Not sure what I weigh yet but I would imagine it's around the 126lb mark (but I have been REALLY bad this christmas so it could well be more!) Anyway I'm hoping I'm going to be a regular in this thread so thought I'd make myself known before I find out my true weight tomorrow and start moaning to you all! :P

Hi and welcome cantgetenoughchoc. So?? What did you weigh when you got the scales set up?!

Day 3 of the post xmas diet for me and was very happy to see 119.5lb on scales this morning even though i cheated and weighed in after i got back from my run!!!

Hoping i can get down to a consistent 119 max before the end of Feb, and then i'm on maintenance the rest of the year........

Ha ha. Well I had very little time to do it this morning.. but when I first got on I was 1 stone heavier than I had thought, and 4lb heavier than the previous evening! Which made no sense! But then I tried it twice in 2 different spots of my very wonky floored bathroom and it came up at about 123 lbs both times (122.something on one of them!) which I am over the moon with if its true. I will of course weigh myself properly tomorrow, moving it around the bathroom to make sure its my floor and not that my scales that are dodgy.

But 123 would be brilliant. How long would it take you (I know its not the same for me but just a rough idea) to lose 11lb? I'd love to lose it for the summer!
