I'll just have to do with what I'm currently doing. It'll take longer for me to get to goal but it really doesn't matter as long as I get there.
No kidding, I didn't have the money either. The program costs about $90 a week just for the food. With the alternates, it only costs me about $30 a week. Good luck with your weight loss!

125.2lb for me this morning. I'm storming through the 120's at the moment, but if i can be this weight properly by the end of october i'll be really happy, what with a big4 day rugby wine/dine weekend starting now, and a bit of dehydration in this mornings weigh-in due to wearing too many clothes for trekking last night!

Old fashioned method of weight loss for me - just small portions and try to make most of the dish veggies. I know i'm up for a big plateau or small gain some time soon though.

ange82much I'm glad you're storming through. I've been in the 120's since the end of August and I'm still here. LOL. Hopefully I'll be out of it and into the 110's by the end of the month. I was so excited when I saw the 120's back in August but now I hate seeing the first two digits on the scale because it's been the same for over 6 weeks.

one week later and 1lb heavier! it's not bad though considering my big 4-days totally off diet in the week, and also not bad since i'm happily back to the healthy stuff again now, and also not bad since my target was 127 for the end of October and i'm already better than that. So i think all that translates to me being fairly happy!!

Off running with my friend tomorrow morning and hope she treats me gently as i've not really run for the last two weeks, and i've not run fast for months! eek! I feel like i could do with a lie in bed tomorrow morning but it's a 7am start, so maybe an afternoon nap is in order (except i need to go shopping for the husbands birthday tomorrow afternoon). Any gift ideas for husbands anyone?!?

Ange82much I don't have suggestions for gifts. My husband is the type of guy that gets what he wants when he wants it so buying a gift for him was always a challenge and I end up getting nothing for him.

yeah, my husband's exactly that type too! I'm the cautious-spender of the family. He's getting a new golf bag and some cuff-links in the end.

124.8lb on the scales for me this morning, but i did do a 55 mile cycle yesterday in 90F temperatures so i reckon i'm a bit dehydrated.

Off trekking for 3hrs this morning and the temps are mid-90's today, so i'd better start drinking some water i think!

I'm still hovering around 122-123. I don't know what else to do to break it. I've been working out with P90X everyday for the past 4 weeks and still no change. I did lose inches throughout my body but the scale hasn't caught up to that yet. I'm hoping to see a change by next Wednesday.

Ryler - the inches are heaps more important than what the scales says. You're obviously still changing shape and gaining some extra muscles which is all good! Don't get discouraged with that - you're doing a great job.

I saw quick dip down to 123 on the scale a couple of days ago but have been away from home since then, and will be away for another week, so anything could happen in that time (don't think i'll be losing though!). Happy with my efforts for October though.

Still stuck around 122-124. I tried intermittent fasting and calorie cycling and still no change. My workout routines aren't the same everyday so I don't know what's going on here. I think I'm going to try another poster's suggestion from another thread to drink more water. I drink at least 64 oz a day but I guess more won't hurt.

I know the scale doesn't really show us much but I am just sick and tired of seeing the same darn numbers after 4 weeks.

Hey ryler I have gone 4-6 weeks without a change in the scale too. I then drop 1-2 lbs. I tend to lose in whooshes rather than increments.

Another thought is changing up your macronutrient ratios, cutting out processed foods (if you haven't already), and reducing sugar. Good luck!!

I have cut out processed food completely. Now that you mentioned reduce sugar I realize that I've been eating a lot of it lately. More than usual. Time to stop going to the candy jar when I'm bored.

congratulations ladyrayado!! You're welcome to double-dip and stay around here to be inspiration for us all (as well as moving over to the 110's).
How are you losing weight?

I was 123.0 lb this morning, so i'm still seemingly going well, but life's been a bit erratic recently so i'm not moving my ticker until i see a lower number a few more times.

Thanks Ange! I'm on the Ideal Protein diet, have been since the end of September. I've lost about 17 pounds since I started. Best of luck to you!

Congrats ladyraydo on getting out of the 120's. Im hoping I'll be out in 4-5 weeks. I did see a 0.8 lb drop for the first time in 4.5 weeks. I realized what caused my loss to stall. It wasn't what I was or wasn't eating. I decided to try intermittent fasting about 4 weeks ago. That was when my weight stopped dropping. 3 days ago I decided that I needed my breakfast and I saw a loss today. I know many people love IF but evidently it wasnt for me.
