Congrats! 119.8 is better than 120. I'm just now rolling into the 120s.hopefully I won't be stuck her for long.
Hey everyone. Do people constantly tell you to stop losing weight? Like your goal is set too low, it's not healthy, etc? I have many people whom are all taller than 5'5 tell me this though out the day. I try to explain to them that my goal is so because I'm short. At my beginning weight of 147 I was wearing a size 8 snugly and in between a M and L. They just can't seem to understand that because I am shorter that my weight shows differently.
I don't think anyone's ever told me to stop losing weight, even at my low at 108-110. If 113 is your goal, I don't think it's too low. Also depends on your build and bodyfat %. Just smile, nod and ignore them .
My SIL lost a lot of weight a while back and I remember people telling her not to lose too much, but she has a larger build and different body type (more muscular) than me, plus a lot taller (5'5").
No, I don't look anywhere near underweight (my weight is just into the normal BMI, but my WHR is still in the high risk category) and I don't tell people my weight or goal weight unless I trust them not to be idiotic about it. Maybe tell them your BMI if they don't understand what weights are normal for us shorties?
I weighed myself today (and only dared look with one eye open... I was a little scared of what I might see...)
I'd lost 200g (haven't weighed in for over 2 weeks now)... which is amazing for me because I have been injured for about 3 weeks and unable to stick to my normal exercise routine so I'm just thrilled. A loss is a loss
Well, I suppose a (weight) loss is a win LOL.
Anyway, I could be out of the 120s sooner than I expected
I've been on a diet for almost 2 months now. I think the weight loss is slowing down. It feels like I've been in the 120's forever. How many lbs/oz is everybody losing a week?
Hey everybody, I weighed myself this morning and I'm 126 so I guess I'm finally feeling confident enough to join this, hopefully I'm done with the 130s for good. I'm seriously thinking about lowering my goal to 105.
Is anyone else trying to get that low?
I'm roughly losing 1 ib a week on a 1300 a day plan, but I'm expecting it to slow as I get lower. how are you finding losing when you're below 125?

I am a bit below 125 and lose about 1 lb a month. I claim to be at 1200/day but I probably end up more at 1400. I find I do better on a more liberal plan that allows me to indulge in my vices (Nutella for dessert, a little more cream in my coffee) even though it takes me longer to lose :-/
I'd LOVE to tighten up my plan and get closer to 2 lbs a month. I don't think I could feasibly lose any faster than that.
I'm not below 125 yet but I think I'm losing about a pound a week on average. My max amount of calories is 1400/day but if I do go over then I don't beat myself up over it. I just work harder to burn off the excess calories. I would love to lose at least 1.5 lb/week but I don't know of that is feasible. My goal is to get to 125 lb in 3 and a half weeks.

I will have to readjust my goal when i get closer to my current goal. I don't think 105 is that low for us shorties.
My goal is even lower! Weirdly I don't find it hard to lose weight. I'm eating around 1200 cals a days, sometimes lower sometimes higher, fluctuating my cals makes my weight loss really faster and easier. I also began jogging/running 3 days ago I do it with the dogs. I'm hoping to enter a half marathon next summer !
I weight myself everyday, I find it motivating. I do it in the morning, naked and empty. This is what my scale is saying:
Today 31: 102.4 pounds (yeah!)
August 30: 103.8 (again!)
August 29: 103.8
August 28: 104.2
August 27: 105.4 (grr)
August 26: 104.6
August 25: 103.2
August 24: 104
August 23rd and a week before: plateauing between 105.2-105.8

Today I was 124.6. I think I would be lower, but I ate some junk at the weekend, we had no power thanks to the hurricane........actually, the hurricane is a bad excuse, I could have eaten healthy if I had wanted to, I had salad stuff in a cooler, fruit etc.... but instead I was lazy and ate a jam sandwich, a candy bar, Pringles and a large tuna sub, but that's all I had all weekend......oh and some beer- I still lost weight though but I had been up from my period....so I'd probably be even lower that 124.6 right now, not to worry......I'll get there eventually.
125 today. Yesterday I didn't go over calories or eat bad, I didn't workout though because I was exhausted after a very early start at work. I have another early rise and busy day, but I'm going t the gym tonight, no doubt.
