Thank you so much you don't know how much that means my faith in JESUS has not all ways ben the best but sence I have joined CMA I have found a new way to worship a way that glorifies GOD and no one else The people envolved in CMA have shown how great it is to be a servant evean in the toughest of times to the toughest of hearts. I have read about your struggles and how far you have come When I read you comment my heart broke for you when I see someone so willing to communicate with a complete stranger not knowing who they are or if what they say is truthful I know that it must of been GOD ordained for us to be sisters in Christ and help each other thruogh this path that we are on
Sitting here thinking about how far there is yet to go scares me but knowing that there are people out there tha will help me through this is so encouraging and for that I Thank You for all that you are and for all that GOD has given you Go with GOD

I thank you for the words of encouragement My mom not only babysits though she also has taken in my brother and my two beautiful nieces they have shown me what a joy it is to be a care taker for a young child but also the amount of time and love and devotion it takes
just a few moments ago my oldest niece who is 2 woke up with a bad dream as a aunt i feel i should comfot her and protect her
every night my brother will put her to bed and pray a prayer that is truly said from the mouth of a little child I know that baby sitting is her job but taking care of them is her life my mom is a amazing woman who i adore whan she is not baby sitting she is taking care of every one else she is a GOD fearing woman and helps anyone she can now that i am older i relize that every thing is not about me but about GOD
Our preacher this sunday tought on how to be a parent when the child is learning and growing they are dependant on the parents but it ais a parents job to turn the focus away from the parent and towards GOD he is our all who gave it all for every one
thank you

Youth Chick - Welcome! It is great that you are a believer in Christ. School, well life, can be very hard. Praise God we can go to Him and He will restore us, uplift us and love us. Yes, our Jesus did give His all for us. For sure, He is our role model. Everyone else will disappoint us, hurt us or let us down at some point. In school, those who are saying hurtful things are immature and mean spirited. But YC, you can show God's love by just showing kindness back to them. Pray for them.
Gywn -Hip,Hip HooRay!! That's G-R-E-A-T Girl!! So pleased for you! Like Gary, I am praying for you a "set of wheels".

Well, I ended up not going to Trader Joes last weekend like I had planned. Nevertheless, one of these days I'll get there. Today I actually did something I don't normally do. Been reading up a bit lately about the issue of sugar, and how much of it is ok versus not ok in the grocery stores. So since I was making dinner tonight, I checked out a lot of the labels, and was surprised to note not only the high amounts of sugar (even on organic labels!), but also the super-high amounts of sodium! Granted, I have looked over the labels before, but I guess none of this info really kicked in till now. Weird how that happens.

Gwyn: I hear ya on not being able to go to church. My issue here is that because of my hearing, I can't understand the preacher half the time. My mother and I have found a way around that. On Sunday mornings, there is usually several preachers on T.V. in close captions that we watch, so we still "attended" church. So that's one idea for you, plus another is reading up on sermons online.

Youth: Welcome!

Everyone else: God Bless!

NemesisClaws: Thank you for thinking about me. We do a lot of Christian programs! I love TCT and TBN they are my favorites. I am sorry you didn't get to your store you wanted to go to. My youngest Son Daniel said, he might be able to get me a older car next week for $500.00 I hope he can it is so sweet of him. I love him so much too! His wife Rebbeca who we call Becky is still holding on to her pregnancy she is 6 months along. She had misscarried only a few months before this one.
She has a goiter thyroid and it is huge, I mean massive, she was set for surgery to remove it when she became with child, so we are praying her through.
They will not do the surgery on her while she is carrying her baby. She is due in September. I want to have a baby shower for her soon. I just got to scrape up some extra cash to do it. Even if I can't I am still going to do it, even if pawn off the windows to the mobile home I live in! ahahahaahahahaha They would proably give me $10.00 hahahahahahahahhahahah
Love you girl thanks again! keep posting!
In Christ, Gwyn

Youth Chick: My goodness what can I say to all that? I can tell you this for sure...That if you can and do see anything good in me, it is from the Lord Jesus who I Praise and Thank! I Praise God from whom all Blessing Flow! I love that old hymn. Praise God from whom all blessings flow... Praise Him all you creatures here below... Praise Him all you heavenly hosts... Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.... AMEN!
I love you, your a sweetheart and I cherish you!
Love in Christ Gwyn

Thanks Elizbennet and Gary!
as I said above my Son Daniel is looking to buy me and older 91 Lesaber for about $500 he says it looks awful but it has a good engine and new tires. I said, if it gots wheels and it rolls and if it will get me to and fro! then Thank you and it will do! He is a sweet heart, he doesn't earn that much and it will be a sacrifice for him I know but I am praying that the Lord will bless him for his love, care, concern and effort!
Love you in Christ, Gwyn

Hello to everyone else!
I love you all so much! You all have become such a big part of my life! I feel like I am getting closer and closer to each and every one of you! Each time I read your posts!
I wanted to share some words that I learned from my friend Dr.Frank from weight loss Gods way .com He is a very special friend of mine and an encourager in Christ. He says...
The question is this: If Jesus Himself were to knock on your front door tomorrow morning and present you with the keys to a brand new Mercedes, would you take good care of it? A dumb question, right? Of course you would!
Anybody in their right mind, and especially any Christian, would be absolutely overwhelmed to receive such a wonderful gift -- and from Jesus Himself!
Now of course, many of us would be wondering if we were even WORTHY of such a gift. You might even question Jesus' sanity or judgment for giving it to you -- to YOU, of all people! But at some point, you'd probably get past that. Then you'd take care of that Mercedes like it was the only car in the world. Am I right?
Well God has ALREADY given you an infinitely more precious vehicle than any car ever made. And this vehicle can take you anywhere on the planet!
It's called your "body." Your body is more complex, more wondrous, and more unique than any mere machine could ever be. And there is absolutely no question that it is God's own creation, and God's personal gift to you. So what kind of care are you taking of THIS vehicle?
You knew that question was coming, too. So what's your answer? What kind of care are you taking of the most precious and unique physical possession you will ever have? And when I say "have," I do not mean "own." As we are clearly told in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20,
"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."
So we should think of ourselves more as custodians -- as caretakers of our bodies -- than as "owners" per se. Because, when God tells us that we are not our own, what He is clearly telling us is that we are HIS!
Of course, maybe that's why so many of us are neglecting our bodies. We either don't feel responsible for them, or we don't think we will ever have to answer for the way we take care of them -- or fail to.

Have a Great night with Jesus! Love Gwyn

HI GALS ~

Well just got home from the doctor. A new specialist for my eye. He said the cuts on my cornea were 3/4 and that I was very lucky! Which I already knew. He said the blurry vision I have may get a little better, he has given me some new drops he hopes will "ease" the cuts and cause less scar tissue. He said the there may be a chance of using steroids later. I have an appointment in 3 weeks for a re-evaulation.

Amanda and Zac are home from Hawaii. They came by yesterday and will be back up tomorrow so she can get some more of her "stuff" from her room.

HI EVERYONE ~ ~ The rainy days have turned into glorious blue skies with fluffy-puff clouds; temps in the seventies ~ couldn't ask for more!

We've had a busy week. We went up to visit DH and my Dad at the building project; I can't believe how much they got done in just 2.5 weeks. DH says he's the gopher and nail hammer; while Dad's the real builder; but he says he's really learning a lot from the experience.

They are building a new small cottage for my Dad and step-mother, Gracie. I'm always amazed at my father; he's in his mid-seventies, but he just keeps on going like an eveready battery ~ LOL; but he says that keeps his mind and body active, which makes him happier too!

GARDEN UPDATE ~ We had a short storm today (our hydro went out for about 1.5 hours); but everything is A-OK in the garden. Everything is up except the potatoes, which we buried deeply. TODAY, we planted the green and yellow beans inbetween the double carrot, turnip, and onion set rows. We had lots of seed, so we just filled in spaces everywhere.

AND, we transplanted those TOMATO PLANTS into a GREEN HOUSE that DH built for me last spring; I put in 16 plants in all (8-Early Girl, 4-Lunch Box, and 4-Tiny Tims). The Lunch Box are a trial this year. They vary in sizes from cherry to medium; we had good success last year with our tomato plants.
Everything is in now; and the fence is working wonders too (should have put one up years ago ~ LOL!

ANYWAYS ~ not much else goin' on here; PRAYERS FOR SUE'S RECOVERY CONTINUE! Have a great weekend everyone; your fellow encourger ~ ROSEBUD.

I'll post more later. I just wanted you to know that I am praying for you all and that I was back from my little vacation.

Ohhhhhhh Wilma that makes me so mad for you because that has happend quite a few times to me too!
I totally know what that feels like!
At least you posted to tell us you posted! hahahahah
I am usally so mad I slam a desk drawer or two and have to get up and walk it off for a minute!

Gary, thanks you bet! I can't wait! I hope he does do it!
It is awful not having wheels! I feel trapped here sometimes. Why if it wasn't for Jesus, I think I would be a little by now! ahahahhahahaha

Well Hello to everyone else!
Today is day 13 of the 40 days for 40 years national prayer and fasting. My hubby and I are doing great! We continue walking 1/2 mile with Ceaser, I have been calling him Sneezer Weezer Ceaser, cause he has allergies! I love walking with them both. Rose we put out a garden too! Two actually We worked on our flower bed all day and we just got finished planting everything we had to plant by street lights and it is 11:35pm. We were both pooped!
We deiced to do a formal flower bed. Meaning I marked off all the perimeters with Twine after careful measurements all around. I staked the twine corners into the ground with long screws. Then Robert took off the sod with the shovel and put it in a wheel barrel and when it was full he had to push that heavy thing about 1/4 mile to dump it in a feild, then he would turn the uncovered soil, then I in the wheelchair would hoe the huge shovel clumps of dirt, I would hoe them and hoe them until they were all broke up in to bits. Then we leveled the dirt. The day before I made a scale map of how I wanted the perimeters to look and how I wanted the bed to look. Then I cut out one X for every day Lillie plant bag which came to 27, then I cut out big circles for all the green coleus, big squares for the red coleus, big triangles for the petunias, I had bought 6 coral inpatients and so I made 6 diamonds for them. Then I started with the day Lilly X's. I would take one and run a large screw through the middle of it then lay it in the bed where I wanted it. I laid all 27 of them out. Then the coleus' next, Last where the petunias and inpatients. Robert planted the 1st day lilies then after he would move out of the way, I would go lay out the other cut outs and hand him plants.
So we got them all planted and lastly we watered them all very well!
but we have one problem now!
We ran out of plants and still have approximately 15 feet of bed left to plant! I MADE THE SCALE TOO SMALL! So we need more at least day lilies. The bed is 3 feet wide and 8' x 19' x 10' long. So my Mother who is a Master Gardner brought us over a whole slew of new plants, plus day lilies from her gardens, And She has 5 acres of flower gardens, they are incerdiable! It is like being in a heavenly place when you walk through them! God surly made us beautiful plants and flowers! Some of His wonders to behold. I think of Jesus when He said in, Luke 12:27
"Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
Anyway even though we fasting the Lord has given us incrediable strength, He is just like that!
He is GOOD! He will heal us every where we hurt, if we will only let him.
Love in Christ! Your Sister and friend, Gwyn

Default Here we go again!

It's a lazy Sunday afternoon for us. We had a wonderful church service this morning. All about how awesome our God is. Then we had our kids in for a barbeque. They went on their way and DH and I have been just relaxing. It's raining outside now so not much to do out there.

We had a great little holiday. We spent time hiking, visiting old friends and spending time with DH's parents. Then we came home and got our yard under control. It looks really nice. The shrubs are all blooming right now and it smells heavenly.

Gwyn: I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your positive attitude. With that attitude you CANNOT fail. Way to go with all the weight loss.

Gary: I'm so glad your eye is improving. As someone with really poor eyesight I can empathize with you about the blurred vision.

Thanks for your prayers for my son. He has a lead of a couple of jobs and is feeling really positive. This is a different person from a few years ago. I am so thankful that he is feeling good about himself again and is getting out with his friends. Please continue praying for him. He really needs a job!

Rosebud: Your garden sounds lovely. I have just a little raised bed in my yard but it gives me some fresh veggies. There are great market gardens around here to get other things that won't fit in my yard.

Sami: So good to see you back here. There are a lot of new faces since you were here last but there's still lots of prayer support going on. Keep posting!

Hello to everyone else. It's starting to lightening outside and I don't want to lose this post too.
