L1D4 complete!! I've been using 3 pound weights so far but I will be moving up to 5lb weights for the duration of Level 1 (except for the side lunge/shoulder raise combo - I think I'll stick with 3s there for a bit longer). The cardio sections are getting easier, which is great because I felt a little woozy after the first day.
Aaah, L1D3 just completed! I've got to say that I am SO proud of myself for doing this. I'm definitely getting out of my comfort zone and hopefully it'll pay off in some way!
The exercises are getting easier and I managed to stick out with most of them but daaaaaamn, the squats!!! THE SQUATS. I would rather die than doing those squats lmao! Also, am I the only one who has issues with the lunges? I have like no balance.
L1D2 complete! i did it with the weighs this time and it is indefinitely harder so im sticking with my threes i might do a second round after this one with fives and then try a third one with tens, that's my goal anyways
Hello...... I'm creeping back in with my tail between my legs somewhat, after doing 12 days of the programme it's been 9 days since I did a day. I could make excuses about not being able to shift the cold/cough/sinus issues I've been having, and that would be true for 5 or 6 days, but then I got lazy, and the weekend was around the corner so I let myself party, over indulge and be super lazy.
BUT, now I'm back! Did level one earlier and it was fine, I was dreading it being as hard as the first time, but thankfully not!! So, now just to see how the ache is tomorrow! I think I'll do a few days on 1 before moving back to 2 and then do 2 for ten, and then one and two for a few more before starting three so that it equals 20 days and then the final 10 days on 3 as normal.
I'm determined to get to the end by the end of feb, which is 32 days in total so I get two rest days when needed......!
Welcome to everyone who's started in my absence, WTG to those of you still going!!!!!
I am so furious that I had to miss it yesterday.. I was unexpectedly kept at work until late in the night after being there all day.. When I got home it was way too late to do it with all the bouncing and groaning because I have two roommates.. So I'm doing L1D4 this morning and it i get back from work while my roommates are still awake maybe again tonight..
L1D4/L1D5 complete! I did what I said and did it this morning and just now after work. I am getting to the point where I am no longer sore from day 1 and 2 so doing it twice in one day wasn't nearly as hard as I was anticipating! I am so glad to have it done, because now I feel that I am back on track.
Am I the only one who's looking forward to the work out by now?! The second and third day I was like "Ugh, I can't be arsed" and now it's like "YAY JILLIAN!!" The lunges still kill me. I have no balanceeeeee.
out from under- Hahaha! Don't feel bad. I have no balance either. I think I'm doing more wobbling than lunges. How are you coordination wise? In circuit...2 I think, where you do the side lunges with the arm raises, I have to do the side lunges by themselves and then do the arm raises. Otherwise my arms go to the "lunge" side too
Some days I swear it's a miracle I can walk and chew gum at the same time...

I'm with you on the wobbling part! I'm not very stable even when I'm wearing shoes while doing the lunges. I feel like part of it is not understanding the technique behind it, and I think Jillian could maybe show in detail how to do each exercise.
Lol! It took two days before I understood what the **** I was suppose to do during the side lunge thingy! I don't have any problems with coordinating it now though!
The bicycle crunches however... I don't know what I'm doing with my legs
I love how much easier it is now than when I got 12 days in at the beginning of January, it really shows what a difference it makes! So, three more days of level one will be plenty for me, then onto 2 which I'll extend a bit to try and prep me for 3....! I'm just so happy to be back!
ImImportant - you are scaring me!!!! I hope L3 calms down for you soon....... Well done for keeping at it, I'm impressed
Penmage Your lack of coordination will be truly challenged on level two, there is a mad cardio bit that involves feet and arms twisting opposite ways and it confuses me to the max, but by day 3 I think I'd just about got it, hoping I'll remember how when I get back there again!
I am another one that genuinely enjoys the workouts
