I pushed myself to get on my Stairmaster and I felt so much better afterwards. So today was 43 mins on SM and 8 min ab workout. Way to go Michelle, Ez, Roni & Pinto :carrot: |

Sept. 25: Nothing (I took a nap that turned into a full night's sleep)
Sept. 26: W2D3 of C25K Sept. 27: Pilates Sept. 28: W3D1 of C25K (Was rough! I officially hate running! But I'm going to keep going till at least W6 to be sure). Sept. 29: Nothing. (Was weird day because didn't sleep at all last night) Sept. 30: Nothing. (Slept 2hrs last night. Am exhausted and out of sorts) Today was a bad scale day. I'm noticing a correlation between soreness and bad scale days. I like that slightly sore "I-worked-some-new-muscles-yesterday-feeling" but apparently my scale doesn't. I did some push ups and squats that I'm still sore from and my scale jumped and last week I was sore from re-starting C25K and my scale jumped only to come down once the soreness left. |
toastedsmoke - if you drink more water the scale may not go up so much on those sore muscle days and the muscles may not be as sore... what is happening is that your body.. your muscles need water and use it to repair themselves after a hard workout, so the extra weight is water retention.. it happened to me a cpl. weeks ago and I found if I drink enough water (2liters + a day) then after my workouts I do not see as much of an upswing on the scale and i am not as sore as i once was...

Monday - off Tuesday - 45 min. Brisk Walk Wednesday - Cardio Max Thursday - Cardio Max Friday - off Saturday - 20 min walk Sunday - Cardio Max, 40min Brisk walk and am hoping to get in some strength training later this evening... |
