great job everyone!!
i havent had a chance to do any proper workouts this week. too busy studying. but today i made sure i did the pop challenge for the blue team. it was to record how long it takes to run 1 mile (or walk or jog or a combo).

>> time of 1 mile = 11 minutes and 38 seconds
:cb:

yeh!! i'm so proud of me! i thought i was going to die though at the end!! like seriously!!! my throat hurt, and my right shoulder was killing me halfway through, and i had a stitch also near the end. but i kept pushing, i took a few walking breaks though, but first time i've pushed myself that hard ever! i've never pushed myself that hard before. but it felt great afterwards , felt a sense of achievment :-)
:running: dont think i could do it again though lol. going back to my c25k routine. but i really wanted to test myself to the very limit and see how long it would take me to run 1 mile. (with walking breaks when i really needed them and i did take a few)

 everyone

September 27: 43 mins Stairmaster + 9 mins ab workout. I also went for a walk today.

Today was a bad scale day. I'm noticing a correlation between soreness and bad scale days
I find the same thing. When I had a trainer he said it was completely normal to be up a few pounds on the scale after an intense workout. He said that I would notice it especially after a leg workout.

Echo, you rock!! :bravo:

Ez, congratulations on exceeding your goal miles!

Great job Michele & Angela!

Day two of taking a rest day. I think I am over exercising and it's not really doing me any good. All that's happening is I am totally drained and not much good for anything. Yesterday all I could do basically was ly and around and sleep. Sunday's are usually house cleaning and Laundry day...well nothing got done. Even with all that exercise and mostly eating right I haven't lost anything since Sept 22nd so.... I think I am cutting back to only 4 to 5 days a week, and maybe not an hour on the Helliptical. Maybe only 30 to 45. And only 2 days a week of Strength Training...We'll see...Our muscles need rest too...

Onederchic 09-28-2009 11:10 AM

Great great job all!! :cheer2::cheer:

Roni - I only do 5 days a week. Your body does need to rest and recuperate.

I have decided to take today and tomorrow off as well and get back on my normal routine Wednesday.

YAY EVERYONE ~

Thanks NARNIA....I used to set a goal of 75...but if I am working steady that is hard for me....unfortunately being in construction...I may be able to achieve it soon...

A quick 2.5 tonight...have a dinner to get started here for my sister...a send off to her surgery...

Okay, so I took like 9 days off :(

Got a few new WATP DVD's and I did the "4 Fast Miles!" today.
I wasn't able to do every set of 'boosted walking' though, but I feel great :)

This is my 10th day of
MOVING MY BODY EVERYDAY!

Yesterday - Firm Cardio Party (I was able to do 20 minutes)
Today - Core Rhythms 20 minute workout.

YAY! I'm really excited about committing to fitness. I'm so very out of shape right now that it felt overwhelming. When I think of it as "I need to move my body today" it feel like a success I can build on. :-)
