  • the surveillance TV
    I was at Walmart today to buy a new scale, and I was waiting in line to ask the customer service woman what floor the scales were on. When out of the corner of my eye I saw the surveillance TV and there was a fit looking women wearing the same dress as me on the screen and then I realized that was me I was seeing, I hadn't realized how far I had come until I saw myself on the surveillance TV. I started this journey last year and it wasn't until today that I had felt I really had gotten anywhere. It was a great day today.

  • Quote: I am very late posting to this thread this month. Looks like everyone has been quite busy! I was on an Alaskan cruise and kept track of my exercise while there. Despite the fact that I exercised and tried to eat well, I gained 7 pounds while there! I know a lot of it was sodium.... I'm back to my normal routine and plenty of water and I've taken off 4 of the 7 pounds in just the past few days. Hopefully the other 3 pounds will come off soon.

    My goal for August is to exercise 1200 minutes and 22 days.

    3: 45 minutes running on cruise ship!
    4: 30 minutes running on cruise ship!
    5: 30 minutes jogging through Juneau!
    6: 30 minutes running on treadmill in gym on cruise
    7: on board "Race for a Cure 5K"-- 40 minute fast walk then 30 minute run around ship (2 more miles)-- total 70 minutes
    8: 60 minutes walk around Victoria, B.C.
    9: 45 minutes elliptical
    10: 65 minutes boxing boot camp
    11: 45 minutes elliptical
    12: 60 minutes spinning class
    13: none
    14: 45 minutes elliptical
    15: 60 minutes fast walk
    16: 45 minutes elliptical

    20: 60 minutes latin dance class
    21: 35 minutes running on treadmill
    22: 60 minutes (30 on elliptical and 30 walking to and from the gym)

    Well.... I've got my days in but I still need to get the rest of my minutes in. I've got 4 more days so I should make it hopefully!

    Yesterday - Ab RipperX only. I got home late and didn't have enough time to do treadmill and eat dinner on time. I try to eat dinner before 7:30 pm and it wasn't going to happen if I did tready. I will do my tready Sunday.

    Today - Weight Training and Walk @ Work

    Sorry Michelle, your shin is hurting. I hope it gets better soon. Injuries are the suck. I've dealt with it all this year and it irritates me to no end. Cuz you know you want to workout but you can't. Good thing you're taking a break for few days to heal. I've learned to listen to my body. Much better that way. Wish you a speedy recovery. And remember - ice/rest/advil

  • When does the new season of biggest loser start? I missed the first 3 weeks last season due to not knowing. I love that show too it has inspired me to try a half marathon hey if Ron could do a whole marathon I can do a half easy!

  • Igetfit-Thats a great feeling so great for you! Its funny yesterday I was laying on the bed naked and I said to hubby I could lay here all night and stare at myself do you see my hip bones poping out hahaha. Thats my goal is to look as good standing up as I do laying down
