Doing Christmas with my mother today...fried chicken and all the fixins. I am very nervous about all the fixins! My father passed a long time ago and my brother lives far away and is in the Air Force. My mother got out all of the slide carousels and we are going to look at photos from when I was a baby. Should be fun. Hope you all are having a wonderful Saturday...only 4 more days!!!! I think I'll go shake a present or two!
So many have such wonderful news today! I'm excited for you! I am an exception to today's downward and maintenance trend, lol! I went up 2.5 lbs today, but hey, you know me, I'm okay with it! It's all a part of my weight loss plan, and I had a great cheat day out with friends!

Just popping in to give an update. I doubt I'll be back on 3FC until next year.
My weight is back up to 64.5kgs again, so there goes that goal, though my TOM is coming...
Good luck to everyone else this month. Let's all try to beat the Xmas food binges and try to keep under a 1kg (2.2lbs) gain! I know it can be done because I did it last year
Had an ok week food wise. A lot of sodium though so not a good weigh in. Better then yesterday though I was back up to 230.1 so only a .4 loss this week. Its not much but its a loss.
I'm really not good at dieting right now, but I hope you don't mind me holding myself accountable here
I like Christmas food and I don't want to restrain myself, I basically eat my normal way and then substitute a meal with the seasonal stuff. But I had each dish or treat or whatever you want to call it only once this season. Well, I had a lot of though
I don't beat myself up over what I eat, enjoy it but keep the calories in the back of my head. Basically.
I really like Christmas time.
Lyn77 yep, when I considered getting an activity tracker I did read up on all the models and they are actually really accurate on distance. They are just so super expensive, and I decided to rather save up for good running shoes. I like fancy gadgets though (I especially took a like in the Nike Fuel Band), so it is super tempting.
But don't worry, scales are crazy and often it is better to look at the overall trend than to go day by day.

183, aw, thanks girlie! I think you are very smart for continuing to post your progress whether or not the scale goes your way. We all know how tough it is to keep a long-term diet going without slip-ups (heck, I chose a diet with a cheat day because I can't do it) and sometimes those slip-ups save us from jumping completely off the weight loss wagon, so you just continue to do your best and enjoy your Christmas treat here and there! The big picture is all that matters and your big picture is amazing! Keep posting!

183 sounds like a plan to me! just hop right back on plan after the holidays. Enjoy in moderation and there shouldn't be too much damage done. I did so so in high school, mostly B's with some A's and a couple C's. When I went back I got a 4.0 my first semester and it became a game to me to keep it up. I graduated with my associates with a 4.0 than my first semester here at UTD I got 1 A- and ended up with a 3.918 so now I am being hard headedly stubborn to bring it back up as close as possible to a 4.0. after this semester I am at 3.953.

I weighed in @ 229 the day before yesterday and 228.6 yesterday, so I know the weight is down, weigh in day is an up day for me, but what da hek eh? LOL Anyway, I played things wrong yesterday though it started out great. Stopped at that Mexican take out again on the way home and bought 5 taquitos. Big mistake 1. Big mistake 2 is I ate all of them I started adding up what I thought the calories might be and it was a LOT. They totaled up to around 1400 calories on top of my breakfast of 160 calories and lunch of 250. I was not even hungry when I stopped there, just wanted to because of the great experience there a few days back.
Then to make it worse, I bought an apple pie and a pumpkin pie which I figured to get into after today's weigh in anyway, I ate over 3000 calories yesterday, again twice as much as I had been having.
But I am going to be OK with it because it is the season and I am going to partake a bit of it.
My clothes are hanging on me, pants trying to fall off...... Feeling thinner and am much more physically active than before. Lots of good things.
So, I will probably not make my goal of 12 lbs this month but might, and I will be OK with it whether I do or not
