Yay, I weigh 175.5 today! I'm so glad I didn't pop back up to 177 after cheat day! I really am expecting TOM sometime soon though, so I don't know how I'll do this week, but I'd like to lose this water weight by Friday because I'll be switching Saturday's cheat day to Friday. I have a get-together with friends on Friday, plus taking my cheat day early will give me an extra day to get back down before Christmas Day!

Lyn, my daughter didn't give up dairy either when she went on this diet. She just consumed it in moderation. Dairy is actually low carb, but its protein amino acids spike insulin, which is why it's not allowed on the Slow Carb Diet. However, there is evidence that dairy helps against insulin resistance, so even I've been considering adding yogurt to my plan.
