8/4 - 249... Since my low on Thursday The scale has kept going up for NO reason except to Frustrate Me! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR 8/6 247.25 Lost that water gain (Lemon water worked IAN Beer diet this weekend!!!) 8/7-8/9 UP way tooo much so did not post (I missed you all!) 8/10 248 Horay... lost 3 lbs of water from IANG's beer diet.. So happy now to get back to 247 and lower!! 8/11 248 again but its inflamation... 8/12 248.5 8/13 246.5 So happy its down... Had a fever yesterday, which I know helped.. But I;ll take it! 8/14 247.5 back to reality! lol 8/15 248 GEEZZZZ 2 weeks to lose 9 lbs 8/16 248 losing patience! :(..... and I can;t do IAN diet tonight... driving 50 miles to meet some friends for dinner and Jimmy Buffett lookalike concert... Don't want a ticket on I95!!! GW 239.99999999 LOL |

sue - I feel ya :( the scale has not been my friend this past while, hoping it budges soon this morning it said 258, I said some colourful words for 7am when that number popped up haha. will see what it says in the morning, I know I cant have actually gained 2 lbs, since I haven't been over my calories. been eating too much sugar though so that may be a reason. question - I am not doing low carb or anything, but when I have looked at the sugar in my diet it is really quite high, even though it is mostly all from fruit. and I don't think I actually eat an excessive amount of fruit. I am using myfitnesspal for tracking. does anyone have any words of advice regarding if I should try to not eat so much sugar from fruit? which fruits are maybe a bit lower in sugar? thanks :) |

I had a nice night last night out drinking my favorite beers. Down 2.6lbs today. Can't quite believe that. No movement on the scale for weeks and then bang. Why does the scale have to go up for no reason?! Kinda bummed to see it go up the last couple days, but I know that I've been eating right on plan so it's not true "fat." Actually, I'm really happy about my attitude towards it...I've NEVER in the HISTORY of my LIFE was ok with anything but HUGE losses on the scale (like 5 pounds every 3-5days, and if I didn't see that kind of loss then I'd give up). Today I saw that it was up another half pound (each day I've gone up a half pound the last couple days) and it didn't change my mood at all. :) I'm going to blame it on a friend making me do sit-ups and push-ups after our hike and wait for it to come back down (or maybe it's TOM weight. I've never weighed daily so maybe this is my "normal" weight cycle)

mccull that's a great attitude, I have had the scale go up the last couple of days, today it came back down to 257 so its going in the right direction again. I have been keeping a note of my weight each Saturday, last Saturday I was 259 so I will take 257 even if its not the lowest I've seen this week.
