Wow, Jessica! That is really wonderful news, extra special considering all you have been through and what you've been told! Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!!
Great work Aubrey!!
I hear ya Steph. You are right, when you are worn out it becomes so much harder for some reason.
I will be away from home Sat and Sun and I am scared to death. This will be the first time since really buckling down.

I want to succeed this year losing weight. I didn't lose anything last month, maybe a pound. I won't set my goal too high, but I need to lose something.

jessica: That's wonderful and so exciting!!!!! Congratulations!!!! And especially with all you've been through trying to conceive in the past... I am just so happy for you. You are going to be a beautiful, glowing bride this July!! Even though you won't be losing weight, please do check in with us and let us know how things are going - I totally want to hear the pregnancy and wedding plans updates!! And LOL, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt that way seeing that dress on the model!
Steph: Do you bring food to work with you? Something healthy and filling to snack on so that the office food won't seem so tempting?
Aubrey: Congrats on the loss, and good luck with the spa food next week! At least it will probably be healthy-ish stuff.
Daug: You can do it this weekend!! If you can, maybe take some low-cal things with you that you enjoy - quick snacks that don't need refrigeration like fruit (apples, clementines, bananas), beef or turkey jerky, breakfast bars, etc. I find that having those kinds of familiar foods when I'm away helps me to stay on track a bit better!
mar: Thank you. I count calories (1200-1500/day) and I exercise about 5 times/week, and that's pretty much it! I lost the first 125 lbs in just under a year, but it has been slooooow coming off since then.
sun: When those off-plan days make you feel crummy, it just serves as good motivation to get right back on track! And besides, you can always make up for it by just eating 50 cals or so less for a few days - one cupcake doesn't really do much damage.
JazzyPeggy: Welcome! I'm glad you decided to join us this month. I've added your goal to the list below!

Starting Weight: 130.8 lbs
Goal Weight: Actual Weigh-In
3.08 - 129.0: 128.0 lbs (-2.8 lbs)
3.15 - 128.0
3.22 - 127.0
3.29 - 126.0
1 lb ahead of schedule so hopefully I reach my goal of getting as close to 125 lbs as possible by the end of this month. I'm super psyched since I'm back to the weight I was in June since I took a break from losing weight. Finally lost the pounds I gained (I'm guessing between 5-10 lbs) and getting back to business.
Hope everyone had a fab first week of march!

I just read a great quote on my former trainer's website that I wanted to share with all!
"If it's important to you, you'll find a way. If it's not, you'll find an excuss"
I am going to keep that one in the back of my head!!
I'm so happy to be a part of this site and have you ladies and gents help me through the excusses! Best of luck to all this month.

I had a good weigh in today, 150.4. That's down over a pound since last week, which is what I'm aiming for.
chickadee, I do bring food to work - granola, salads, microwave dinners, and lots of 100-calorie snack packs. I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at my desk at this time of year, so I'm well stocked. It's just that there's a lot of tempting food here, all the time. Originally, I was going to just try to not gain during tax season but I've been doing well at keeping up with the exercise and staying within my calorie budget (which I increased to 1500-1600). I hope I can keep it going for the next 6 weeks.
I hope you all have a great weekend!

Hey everybody! I know it's a little late, but I'd like to join! I reached 149 lbs last month with lots of hard work and this past week being spring break for me AND having the flu, I didn't exercise or even think about eating healthy. Well I'm back up to 155 and my goal for March is to get back to 149! Good luck everyone!

InControl: Nice job! It must feel good to take off what you had gained.
dcapulet: It's good to see you again! Thrilled to have you join us this month. I added your goal below!
minoja: Feel free to jump in anytime!!
Aubrey: I read that one recently too, and LOVE it. It's so true. I need to post it somewhere that I can see it everyday.
PrincessSophia: Yay on the 2 lbs!! It's always fun to change the ticker!
Steph: Congrats on the loss!! And I remember reading it, but totally forget - your work gets crazy around tax season, right? Gah, I can imagine that's definitely rough when you're working such long hours - I would be really tempted by good food in the office too. I hope the next 6 weeks pass quickly for you!
AilsaPearl: Gaining 6 lbs of fat in a week is pretty tough to do (you would have to have eaten ~3000 calories per day ABOVE your maintenance level), so some of it may be water and you could see that portion drop off pretty quickly! Fingers crossed. Glad to have you with us this month though, and I've added you below!
So, this morning... I reached my goal. 147.3 lbs, which is a BMI of 24.9. I'll have to get my husband to take some photos of me this weekend in my new dress. I'm not going to stop here though; I've decided that I would eventually like to maintain in the 135-140 range, and so I have another 12 to lose. With the way things have been going lately, that should take a while! There's plenty of time though; I just wanted desperately to officially be a normal weight, which I haven't been since I was about 13 years old - 20 years ago. So yay!!
