Set any weight loss goal that fits your personal goals. Let's say goodbye to the winter blahs and toodle-ooo to a few more pounds. , everyone!
I'm tackling my usual 1.5/week and ramping up my activity. With the extra burn and being really careful with food, I just might hit goal. Just to keep it real, lifting weights might keep the scale higher than I'd like, but I should see some kind of body comp change either way. Om mani padme -- it's all good -- om mani padme, dang it.
Well this is the third month in a row that I've been stuck inthe 220's so I'm gonna take Marie's advice and not set a weight goal. I'm gonna set a daily calorie goal of 1600 calories. Maybe focusing on that number on the scale is part of my frustration.
I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do as a weight goal. It's definitely going to be more than the 5 lbs I had in Jan. and Feb. but I may need to make it a moving target depending on how it goes.
I'm also using my Gowear Fit now, so I will be focusing on that too. I'm going to see if I can make it to 10,000 steps a day - even one day! lol! I'm at 3100 so far today, but I already did the 2 mile WATP this morning. And I'm trying to match calories to activity and have a minimum calorie deficit of 1000 per day.
So maybe I'll see how the first week goes, and then try to figure out a realistic loss number for the month.
My weight goal is to be at or below 165 on March 31.
I'm also going to set a goal to replace one bad eating habit with a good eating habit, so for the month of March I am going to concentrate on not overeating. My goal is to eat only when I am hungry and pay attention to proper portion sizes.
Good Morning All! This is the first time I have posted my goal at the beginning of the month.......My goal is to lose 5 pounds this month. To do this, I will watch my food portions, continue to attend my boot camp sessions on M-W-F and increase my cardio workouts on T-TH-S.
I forgot to put my start weight. I don't know what I'll put as my end weight goal, but at least I won't forget where I started! lol! I know for sure that I want to get back into the 220s since I was there on my old scale. After that is the question mark!
I'm not doing very well with my calorie goal so far this month. Not sure why I'm having such a hard time either. I ate 2000 calories yesterday and 1800 today. What is up with that? I had a snack today and it appears that if I just eliminated that I would have made it. Amazing what a little bit of food can do.
I'm doing pretty well so far - I think for now, I'm just going to focus on itty-bitty mini goals, so first up is getting back into the 220s, and after that, will be getting back to 226.
I know this is from changing scales and it's not a true gain, so it will be nice that I'm seeing movement in overall loss. But I won't feel like it's true forward progress until I'm back at 226 and back working on getting into the 2-teens.
