Sounds like it's been a rough month Sun!! Hope you are at the tail end of all of the sickness! Great job on still losing a pound through all of it!

My weigh-in is today... I am at 236, another 2 pounds gone! I am hitting them exactly the last 3 weeks, which is really funny... guess it's a 2-pound roll.
Would take a very great week to pull off my 10-pound March goal by next week since I've only lost 6. But I guess a 4-pound week isn't impossible. We had a house guest all last week and were away the weekend before... so my exercise routine really took a hit. If I can crank it up this week on that front maybe, just maybe . . .
Otherwise one more pound and I'll hit 10 pounds total since I started at Feb 20 ... I can't wait to see that first 10 be history!!

Starting: 242 Goal 232

6th - 240 - 2lbs for March
13th - 238 - 4lbs for March
20th - 236 - 6lbs for March

soooo I am going to sound like a tired record...still sick and can't wait till I am 100% again. I am keeping my calories around 1500 so atleast I am not gaining anything and will hopefully drop a bit once I am active again. keep it up ladies! see you later

gardner and aubrey way to go ladies!

So still not a hundred percent. but definitely getting better! I am hoping for some more energy tomorrow. I have a doc's appointment for my DD and then home to pack and clean. Gonna try and hit the treadmill if I feel decent after that. Just don't want to exert myself too much and get sick all over again(i have done that).

gardenerjoy: You're kicking butt with that goal since returning from vacation!

loose seal: I'm sorry things aren't moving on the scale lately - that can be so frustrating. Changing things up sounds like a good idea; maybe your body just needs a change of routine. Let us know how things go, and I hope you start to see the movement again soon!

sun: Ugh, I REALLY hope you're on the mend now!! You must be so tired of this. Kudos to you for even trying to stick to your plan throughout - that alone is pretty tough!

I've been really sick the past few days and have hardly slept, but I HAD to be at work and so was pretty miserable overall. But, I was finally breathing better this evening and so got back to the gym for a run. It went better than I was expecting, so that was good. Fingers crossed that I'll actually get some decent sleep tonight!

Weighed-in today and happy to see I'm somewhat on track for my March goal. Temporarily gained on my week trip to NYC but I was mindful so thankfully it was manageable and quickly reversible showing a loss today!

Starting Weight: 130.8 lbs
Goal Weight: Actual Weigh-In
3.08 - 129.0: 128.0 lbs (-2.8 lbs)
3.15 - 128.0: 129.2 lbs (+1.2 lbs)
3.22 - 127.0: 127.2 lbs (-2.0 lbs)
3.29 - 126.0

Hey everybody! congrats on the losses! I weighed in at 149 yesterday, which was my goal for March! I was 155 at the beginning, I know it sounds like a lot of weight lost, but I gained it in 1.5 weeks because I was on spring break, not exercising and eating out a lot. So thankfully I'm back to what I was before spring break, and now I'm going to try to keep going in March!

ok ok ladies! Someone slap some sense and health into me. I am STILL sick. What the ****? I get a little better each day but it really took the wind out of my sails. Then my hubby brought some yummy spaghetti and salad and cheesy bread and a chocolate cupcake(he said to make me feel better since I broke down crying from how tired I felt after taking care of a sick baby and being sick) He is normally very supportive and some since he eats very healthy and never wants junk or anything bad. So I know so far this month is a wash. No working out for 2 weeks and still no energy. I think my immune took a bog hit and I am trying to build it back up. I started today really well but after that dinner I know its not good.
All I can do it hope to feel normal tomorrow and get back into my groove. Its so hard for me to eat properly without working out. Mental I know but its how I am . Ok pity party over! To tomorrow!

Ailsa: YAY! Congratulations!! You are RED below! I knew some of that vacation weight was water that you'd be able to drop pretty quickly - way to go getting it done! You're going to be in great shape for April!!

dcapulet: I hope tomorrow's weigh in goes well!

sun: Don't worry so much about the weight or the calories right now. With an illness that has lingered this long it seems your body CLEARLY needs to be fed to help kick it, and it's ok to do just that. The director of my lab began his medical career as an internist, and in a recent conversation he was telling me that the body can burn an enormous number of calories when trying to fight off a serious illness - he was telling me about a patient who was in the hospital for weeks not getting better, until they realized they were only feeding him ~2200 cals/day, and when his calories were upped to 3000+ he quickly improved. Take care of yourself, and next month when you're feeling better the weight loss can resume. As a side note... have you seen a doctor? Your mention of the croup made me think... a co-worker of mine, her mother and her son were recently quite sick, and it lasted for weeks... turned out it was whooping cough and they needed a course of antibiotics.
