Reported today's actual weight on the spreadsheet, but was really happy this week to see a number below 160 on the scale on two consecutive days.
Calorie deficit this week was way lower than the 6000 I was shooting for, but given that I haven't been able to exercise at all, and spent 3 days on bed rest, it doesn't seem too bad! I was in A LOT of pain mid-week due to OHSS (fluid leaking into my abdomen) and was worried they would cancel Friday's procedure, but I got a handle on it by drinking electrolyte beverages almost exclusively (no regular water, and just a glass of skim milk each day) and focusing on eating really high protein and high sodium. Who would ever think that there could be a situation in which a diet involving daily consumption of beef jerky would be a good thing?!? But it worked, and I'm really thankful. I will still be on "light activity" the next few days, and still can't do cardio or lift more than 25 lbs for the next several weeks, but I am really feeling so much better and am hoping to start getting back to some light exercise during the second half of this week.
Resolute: I can't believe yesterday was the first day of the entire year that you "missed" your walk.
