I agree!! I miss sarge too! So I had to ask myself, WWSD, (WHAT WOULD SARGE DO)?
That's something we should all be doing every day!
Frankly, I don't think it serves anyone to rely on some external force for your motivation and encouragement - whether that's Sarge or something else. We all have to dig deep inside ourselves and move our butts and make good food choices not because Sarge is watching, but because we know that's the best thing for us to do and that it will make us feel and look good. We all have that little bit of Sarge inside of us. Tap into it, Platoon!
Nice little recovery run while the kids were in swim lessons. Warm bright sunshine/icy cold wind. I was running east and my watch beeped and told me it was time to head back into the wind and yowza!! It was all I could do to keep it a recovery run and not a sprint.
Started a new running program. Ease into 10K. Did the first workout today on the TLC'd treadmill. Feeling great.
Lets start monday to give a few others a chance to sign on.
Very cool that you got a treadmill like that. Mine cost a fortune and now I realize the features I require that it doesnt have, but I didnt know then. And it is stuck in this room, if we sell the house the treadmill will convey....
tate....YOU just keep doing your thing honey!!! look at TBL show, most of them ALL WORK INDOORS!! and look at their success!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

Rainbow and Chick,
Thanks for the pick me up. You both offered some great advice and I appreciate it!!
Sarge, I did an extra 10 plus 30 more today to shake off cooties, to make sure they go away I put em outside in the 45 MPH windstorm that I didn't want to walk in. They are at least half way across Nevada now and sandblasted a new color to boot.

Reason: Adding info
Off to go check the thermometer before my run...I think I need to find my running gloves and warm hat. Hope it isn't icy
I hear you on the ice, was slippin around yesterday, a light dusting on top of the old stuff, hard to see where to step. Adds another challenge i guess, only dropped to one knee once so far this year, last year i fell probably 3 or 4 times but never hurt myself, landing on snow helps.
Hey Josey don't remove me please and thankyou, it still helps me keep some accountability.
Still love the tracking capabilities of this app too, check out my november results. Not nearly as good as my summer results but i'm still flirting with maintenance, trying to find my place, i would like to lose a few more yet but am happy for now to be staying relativwely level.
