I doubt I will be able to meet my pledge this week. Hubby's grandmother passed Monday night. Yesterday was a whirlwind between work, errands, and the visitation. I didn't get to eat dinner until after 9 pm last night. By that time I was too hungry and ate poorly. Additionally, I have only been able to exercise once this week. I won't be able to go to the fitness center again this week, so I will have to do something here the next couple days.

@sumner - sorry for your loss!

@chick - Thanks :-)

@Jeanettey - I did 100 crunches. (side and straight ones)

I had a Christmas lunch yesterday but worked my calories around it, same thing today, though not sure how the party on the weekend will go. Still choosing wisely and balancing it with salads for dinner i.e. lunch on Saturday. But right now my weight bouncing like crazy. Not sure where I will end up on Sunday. Uhoh!

Did Xtrainer and ran intervals at the gym this morning. And no matter what that running log said that last interval was 7:54 pace, not 8:00!

Forgot my burpees, will do them in a little bit, I'm going to do some sort of workout in the middle of the day anyway because its the only way for me to stay warm. Plus I would like a big burn day today.

josey - I hear you , my calories were great yesterday but a boat load of sodium. hello bloat.

sumner - Sorry for your family's loss. I understand the whirlwind and hope you can still get some time for yourself to do something that makes you feel good in a stressful time, even if it's just enjoying some peace and quiet for a while.

I upped my 2% incline to a 3% incline on my treadmill today. I wasn't getting as much of a work out with the 2% incline. Wow what a work out I got with 3%

I climbed that 3000 calories burned hump. I got 3100 last night.

WOOHOO. Now to keep the stress at bay.

They are out to get me! Went for another lunch (team lunch, so no way getting out of that one) and it was terrible. Spiffy restaurant, crappy food and not really low calorie options. Uhoh! My food was super salty too. I am going to work long and hard on that one I am afraid.
There goes the goal for Sunday.
I hate that. Especially when the food is not good!

Ugh, that is frustrating. There are so many yummy unhealthy things to "spend" calories on that it sucks to waste them on not yummy things! Drink your water and get a good sweat on tonight.

I spent some time over the last couple of days to plan out workouts for the next few weeks. I usually only do a week at a time, but figured that with the hectic upcoming weeks I'll be more likely to stick to a plan if I make it NOW rather than when the plate of cookies is staring at me.

Speaking of cookies.....I'm going to try making paleo-friendly gingerbread men this weekend.

4 miles in tonight, did 6 x 4 of burpees and 60 pushups this morning but havent gotten the last 40 in. I think I will not.

Josey - cucumbers help me flush out sodium bloat. I think they a mildly diuretic veggie. Anyway, seems to work.
