Yay! a new month. I truly need it given the way July went

Thanks FSA for getting us going once more.

to all the new people. Hope to see you around here lots.

MissPiggy: If you don't have your settings to automatically subscribe to a thread when you post, you can just go to the right hand corner of the page under "Thread Tools" and from the drop down menu pick "Subscribe to this Thread".

Since July was so chaotic and September will probably be too I need to make sure August goes really well. So my goals are:

-Eat OP 6 days a week.
-Journal food intake.
-Keep track of water intake (to make sure I am drinking enough).
-Stay accountable on weekends.

Delphi has me confused. Is this going to be a combined WL + Exercise thread? I need to know where to post the exercise bit

Well I wasn't sure due to Jacqui's puter going down. I guess it would be easier for FSA to keep up with one than two, but I don't know. I guess she will let us know.

to all of you new comers, it's good to have you ladies join us, for another exciting month of dropping these pounds.

Thanks Delphi!
I just feel so out of the loop. It took me a long time to figure out that Jacqui was MIA due to computer problems and I still have not caught up with all the news in the other thread.

NSM ~ Yeah, I never envy anyone who gets more than a day behind on our threads. We do get chatty. I think we all feed off of each others energy though, which is indeed a great and groovy thing.

Hi, welcome to all the NEWBIES! I can say that now

Think I'll stick with the 7-10 lbs, since it worked for July! I'll also stick with the three days of strength training and three days of cario. everyone!

Talking Newbie here but excited

Hi all,

This is my first time posting (anywhere, ever) so forgive me if I make an error; it's unintentional.

My goal is to lose 5-7 lbs. Also, I want to make progress with my belly fat (not exactly sure how to measure that!)

I look forward to August!

Hi. Can I play too?

For the month of August I would like to:

1. Eat at a restaurant no more than twice.
2. Not eat ice cream (my big trigger food).
3. Not drink alcohol (empty calories).
4. See the 120's for the first time since 2004.

HI girls............still up! lol : ).

sstolte, jeweliek, crazymamaof4, canadian angel, UniquelyNormal, inthemidst, dcapulet, Darby1, ajowens, Urth Wurm, Miss Mallee, Mountain Chick, and Blue Isis and for those of you new to the board

Sandye(crazymamaof4), canadian angel, TERAPET, Delphi, nellonello, Newshinyme, and Late to the game.........welcome back girls gtsy all.

Delphi....regarding the lists...I feel that it's a good idea to keep things as they were for Jacqui upon her return and continue with the same consistency for now...separating the exercise goals and listing t hem in the exercise section and all other goals here...as we have been doing. THing is girl...we need to get the exercise thread up real soon...hoping Jacqui would pop in. I will start on our list here and then we can put up our ex. list and start over there...yes? : )

Girls....Jacqui_D has been keeping master lists for us and also puts a GOAL MET in red for those of us who accomplish our goal/s. We have so grown to love this and it has been an extra motivator for us. Unfortunately, our Jacqui has been having pc trouble and unable to come online. We hope to see her here real soon . To get an idea of the master list...you can take a look at our july challenge thread to see what it's all about.

We will be putting up our sister thread which will be titled August Exercise Thread (where will be posting your exercise goals) so keep an eye out for it and those of you who wish, feel free to join in. It has helped many of us to stay motivated, I cannot say enough about it.

I better get to bed................looking forward to getting to know everyone. Night girls

Woo hoo! I'm so excited about August!

My goals are -

1- to get to 178 (halfway!)
then
2- get to 174

Which is approximately 10 lbs from now.

I've also set myself excersise goals this month, but I'll wait and see if a thread comes up.

Good luck everyone!

So many goals, So many goals...but one at a time will do...than you :}
1. take it day by day --- okay not a goal but a mind frame.
2 Stay within my WW points
3. My weight as of last friday 249. Weight loss 2 pounds per week for august.
4 Drink 4 bottled waters daily. Heat and humidity make that easier. I think.
5 Give support at this site at least once daily.
