Had a root canal done at the dentist today, so no over eating for me. Had 1330 calories & rode the bike only 20min. It's raining, cold and dreary here, didn't want to go for a walk. All in all a good day of clean eating!

manders- I can't ever stay away from the scale, I weigh every morning! lol

Had a good workout today - BodyCombat at the gym, quickly becoming one of my favorite classes! Speaking of fruit, I had the best dinner of blueberry pancakes. The produce shop here had some of the best store-boughten blueberries I've ever had. I went a tiny bit over my cals, but I was under by more yesterday, so it evens out. So excited that tomorrow is Friday, it's been such a busy week!

Hi everyone- I'm just reporting in to say that I've hit a sort of plateau so I don't think I'm going to make my weight goal for this challenge, as it's been a while since I've seen any loss. I'm trying to figure out what I can do to break through it, so I'm going to be focusing more on exercise goals for the time being. I'm planning on starting c25k when this darn weather warms up.

Also, some of you might remember what I posted on the last challenge about the huge motivation I had gotten, which was traveling abroad for a week and a half this summer. The country I was to visit happened to be Japan... and I'm sure everyone knows what's going on over there right now(), so because of that the trip was unfortunately canceled. That means I'm not in so much of a hurry(to get to my final goal) any longer, so I'm thinking about raising my calorie limit or trying calorie cycling or something... I'm not sure yet.

Anyway, well wishes to all of you on your goals!

So for those of you that asked about wallyball I attached a pic of the court. Its volleyball with a dodgeball and you play in the indoor court. You can even play off the walls, which can be challenging. Its very inexpensive to play. I pay four dollars and we play for about 2-3hrs once a week. I read on ************ that it burns 1300 cals in 2 hrs. I'm sure thats a bit off but I know its still alot do to my wieght loss the days after.

Also thankyou all. I have relized I may not be as dedidcated with out you all, some of the people that I started with outside of here are not as serious as I am to lose the wieght and its nice to have the support here. Also as people are seeing my body change I get alot of good comments but sometimes people comment out of jealousy I suppose. My sister asked me who I was losing for... I said myself. My mother asked me yesterday if I barrowed my daughters shirt....It was a large. One girl at work asked me if what I was eating allowed in my diet (toastadas). Another girl at work said I hope you are eating....lol... If they only knew. And I just wonder if any of you have expierienced that?

Northern, come on girl meet me in the 170's soon.

Night all.

Apparently neither can I! I knew when I typed that it would be a challenge for me not to jump on the scale. As I was finishing up my cardio I kept telling myself to get out of the gym and not bother weighing but I didn't listen to myself.

Down .2 lbs to 182.8 for my official WI today. Being that I'm pre-TOM, I will take anything that's not a gain.

Manders: I hear you, I hate housecleaning too...that's why I was hoping you'd come over, lol.

Dogs: Our snow is *almost* gone, but spring is very slow to come to these parts this year .

Fruit: hope you're recovering well from the root canal...no fun!!

Jessica: mmm....blueberry pancakes. Haven't had those in forever.

Horo: sorry about your trip. I feel so bad for Japan

Tired: wow, that looks like quite a workout!!

Well, happy April, ladies! Watch out for the April Fools jokes!!

I'm with you! I told my flatmate I'd lost 5lb so far and she asked if it was because I haven't been eating properly. I then said, "No, it's because I've been working my butt off!" Haha. Most comments have been nice though. Don't worry about these, try to focus on the good ones - the "wow, you look great!" ones. Everyone else will see soon enough the result of all your hard work.

I also agree - it's so nice to have somewhere to come where everyone is as supportive and focused as I want to be. Definitely wouldn't be the same on my own, thanks ladies!

Weighed in and 2 lbs down! Yeah! So I think that's 6 for the challenge and 3 more to go...

It's finally spring like weather here so I hope it's a weekend of planting flowers! I hope everyone else has a great weekend!

Hi ladies, I will go back and do a read when I have more time but I hope everyone is doing well.

My fiancee broke his thumb on Wednesday night, and about ripped the tip of it off (got kicked by a cow - he is a dairy farmer). Anyhow, I spend all Wednesday night at two hospitals with him. Didn't get home until 5:30 in the morning! So, needless to say, my calorie counting has not been the greatest the last couple days. But I am back on schedule today!

I'll check in later, work is crazy right now!

I am chuckling about some of you ladies having to weigh yourselves every morning BECAUSE, first thing, my 7 year old asked me "aren't you going to get on the scale today?" I said "no, I am going to wait a few days and see what happens". So then I come on 3FC and realize that I am part of an April challenge, and need to get on the scale after all (of course, I've had 1/2 my breakfast by then, and a cup of coffee).

Northern: Spring's also been VERY slow to come here, granted we were WELL above freezing yesterday. Which is good, except for the roads. I live in a tiny town, so we just drive on compact snow all winter...this leads to horrendous driving conditions when things start melting. But if we can just stay warm, that will go away and it will just be mud!

K15g15: AWESOME WTG on the 2lbs!! I am jealous about you planting, as I am still under a couple of feet of snow!

Megems: YIKES that sounds terrible! I can totally understand going off schedule when medically, things go wrong. I had one heck of a battle in February with my girls and bacteria. Between the 2 girls we had tonsillitis 4 times, Scarlet Fever and Impetigo, I spent a lot of time off plan, while I was doing round the clock Advil dosing! I hope your fiancee's thumb is feeling well soon, sounds very painful!

WOW! You are doing AMAZING! Since I've been in onederland, it's been slooooooow going. I fight for 1 lb/week average now. Do you exercise a lot? What kind of calorie range are you doing? I know everyone's body is different, etc. etc., but I'm certainly open to any tips to get this going a little faster again

Hey ladies, 245.4 today, it's TTOM so I'm just feeling bleh today and my freakin' house key with my old wedding ring is missing (before you say it, I know I shouldn't keep my ring on a key, but that's where it's always been and I haven't lost it yet) and I know it's in the house, and I have turned my house upside down several times looking for it. So I'm just pretty bummed...

NorthernExposure- Congrats on your loss! I know with me, I'll take an ounce, as long as its a Loss... & I know TOM can be trying.. Stick in there

k15g15-Way to go on your 2lb loss! every little bit helps!

megems- OMG! I'm sorry to hear abotu your boyfriend's thumb! poor thing.. I surely do hope he has a speedy recovery.. farm boys are usually tough & strong though, so Im sure he'll bounce back .. keep us posted on how he's doing!

OhMyDogs- You're not alone. I didn't realize that with these challenges, Im sposed to weigh daily... .. I usually want to stick to weighing on Sundays.. we'll see!

Fit4Lyfe- Isn't it crazy how TOM makes everything seem so much worse!! Feel better..

As for yours truly ;; I'm a little bummed myself because I got on the scale this morning & seen a 2 pound gain.. I dont think its accurate though {at least Im hoping} because I had all my clothes on & I had drank a bunch of water.. Im not sure.. Hopefully by Sunday, I will see a loss.. ..In other news, my little niece is doing great. all her labs & tests are coming back perfect!! thanks ladies for all your prayers..

Its a brand new month, lets start on a positive note..

Phat: I don't know about other challenges, but on this one you certainly don't have to weigh daily. I weigh on Fridays. Sometimes I may sneak a peek in the middle of the week, but Friday is my "official" WI day. The CC challenge is one of the most laid-back challenges out there....some people don't even go by weight, they do measurements or how many days they exercise, etc. Whatever you want to do

Oh, as far as your WI today, clothes and water could easily add two lbs. I usually weigh in the morning (before I drink anything), and I have, um, minimal clothes on, lol.

Fit: I am with you on TOM (well, pre-TOM) and I'm sorry you can't find your ring . I HATE losing things. I know everyone does, but it's one of those things I tend to overreact to and freak out over. Hopefully you have more patience than I do!

Lori: no good April Fool's jokes to report, sorry! Nice to see you though!
