Sounds like a lot of you are making good progress and staying OP. Good job!

I went over a little yesterday (qdoba and a small dairy queen!) and since it was my "rest" day, I didn't exercise the extra calories off. Right back on it today...OP eating and a 60 minute workout. (20 minutes of wii fit and 40 minutes of the biggest loser sculpting DVD. Just started level 2 today. Going to be sore tomorrow!)

Have a great workweek, everyone!

I've been doing well with my calorie counting.. still no exercise yet though! Midterms are over this week though so I am definitely gonna start working out this week. I only have about 12.4 of my original 14 lbs left to lose!

I can't keep up with all the posting - hopefully after this next week is over, I'll get some life back. Though I might not get a break til April 1, as I still have two clients that need to issue their reports by March 31. Oh well, the end is in sight...

Having my friend in town was great and I was actually pretty well restrained with my eating - sometimes I use visitors as a reason to eat crap and this time I made much better choices, which was good. Had a lousy week where exercise was concerned - as in, I didn't do any! Except for walking a fair bit this weekend and riding my horse, I haven't worked out since Monday. That won't do - not only do I know that won't help the weight loss, I feel so much better on the days I work out, and I have a lot more energy.

And now I have to cook my quinoa to make a salad for the week's lunches - I'm mixing quinoa, chicken, black beans, kidney beans, corn, red pepper, onion, cucumber, broccoli, and spices - that'll be pretty good for lunches (I don't have access to a microwave at the client I'm at next week). I'm also making the chocolate mousse dessert that was SO good last time because it feels so decadent but it's less than 100 calories per serving, and it's got good protein in it.

Wow, y'all have been busy posting this weekend!

It SNOWED today here in east Texas!! Unbelievable! It was in the 60's and 70's all during the week and then it decides to snow - weird!

I've been OP pretty much. We ate out today after church and I ordered as best I could. Grilled Chicken, grilled peppers, onions, squash all mixed up for one side and cabbage for my other side. I'm sure it wasn't prepared as healthfully as I would at home, but I did the best I could. I had unsweet tea to drink. I REALLY wanted some of the chocolate pie, but I didn't do it.

I've got to really hit it tomorrow. I'm going to have to experiment on why I haven't been losing the last 12 days. I'm staying OP (except today's out to eat, but I really don't think I went over calories even with that) and exercising 5-6 days per week.

I wonder if I'm over exercising for my calorie level (1400-1550)? So I think I'm going to do pretty easy/moderate exercise Mon. do a Denise Austin & Tues WATP 2 miles; then on Weds do an intense workout like Tae-bo and a good long treadmill; then Thursday do Denise Austin then Friday do another WATP. So 4 days of moderate and one day of intense. Since I weigh in on Friday, I think I'll do my intense on Weds. so it can have time to work itself out before I weigh in. What do y'all think? I've GOT to lose something this week because the next is TOM again - ugh.

My family (Daddy, Step-mom, sister etc) hasn't seen me since New Years and I will be seeing them on the Saturday before Easter and I want sooo much for them to totally be able to tell I'm losing weight.

This morning I found a picture taken at Thanksgiving and I couldn't believe how big I was! See, the thing is that inside my head I saw myself as looking like I look right now. So #1 it's hard to realize how big I actually was and #2 it's hard to realize how much I've lost - does that make sense? That's one reason I'm really looking forward to the next 10,20,30 pounds because they're truly a "me" I've not seen in 15 years!

Ok, I'll hush and get ready for bed.

Have a great week everyone!

Hi I would love to be in the 170's when April 30th rolls around.
I actually have a Dr's appointment back home (they haven't seen me since I was at my heaviest - 224) in April and I really want to be in the 170's for that as well!

Just checking in for the week ladies. Didn't lose anything this week. Still up the extra 2 lbs from TOM (that still hasn't left yet). Hoping for a nice lose this week.

Hey Everyone! It's 1:36am and I just got home from work so I'm posting really quick and heading to bed. hopefully I reply to everyone tomorrow.

Today was a great day! I felt better after yesterday, I said good-bye to my dad...it was HORRIBLE!...I will talk about it later. I tried to keep face during work yesterday, I had to go to the bathroom a few times, but I kept a smile and did my job. I just slept it off as much as possible. So today is my actual Day 1 of the challenge, I kept within my calories, and I had alot of exercise with grocering shoppnig, outside work and doing a floorset tonight. I just need to keep it up this week, class starts back up tomorrow so back to long days and trying to figure out meals. The bf and I are doing it together which really helps. So I was at 123.2 this morning and I'd love to lose 5lbs for this challenge. so that's 118lbs. and lose the inches I gained over the past 2 weeks.

I'm off to bed, I hope everyone had a great day and wish you all the best week. Sweet dreams!

Okay so I'm doing the happy dance early. I changed my weekend eating schedule to see how I would do. I had a 425 cal breakfast, no snack, 450 cal lunch, no snack, 260 cal dinner and 130 cal snack. It went real well. So I will try that for weekends to see how that works. I also started doing a workout with those band thingys. I wanted to add something that will assist with my stubborn parts (belly and arms). I've been doing a lot of cardio and weight training with not a lot of results in my abs and arms, so we"ll see. I was planning to do tae bo starting this weekend but moving furniture to workout wasn't coming into focus. Maybe today, but for sure I will keep working the stubborn parts. Back on my regular schedule eating plan for today and workout at the gym.

JD - I know it's hard to deal with your dad being gone but it'll get better. Being a military brat we had to deal with that alot.

Cynthia - Way to go!! Keep up the good work.

Lori - How is your day going today. I hope you are feeling good!!

Misspriss - Hope your workout was good. I will be going to the gym for lunch for something intense...at least that's the plan!

Today is our day to make something healthy happen today. LET'S MOVE THOSE BODIES EVERYONE!!

Hey everyone! Wow, it was a busy weekend here! I need to start checking in on the weekends so I can keep up.

My weekend was... indulgent. I went out to eat with my one of my brothers Saturday early evening. We went to an Italian restaurant and talk about carb overload! I saved my calories for that meal so it was OP but I knew better. And Sunday my mom had a fish fry for lunch. Ugh. On a good note, I did work out yesterday, completed my W6 of C25K. 25 mins running! I keep surprising myself and it's an amazing feeling. Also, another good note... my weigh in! I weighed in this morning and have finally hit the 190 mark! I weighed in at 190.6 this morning. Yayyyyy!

Quick note...

jdonato You look fabulous sweetheart! Seriously, you were beautiful before but you are even more beautiful now!

misspriss: Thank you. You've been there for me for 3 challenges now and I appreciate it. I know exactly what you mean by not eating out...that's our weakness....and the bf decided to look at the bank statement and once he saw how much we eat out....I'm on a $15 food allowance for the week woops. I know we both eat out alot so he's trying to pack his lunch more. He's home for a while before I get home from class so he can take care of it. I hope uping your calories helps, it really did for me. Congrats in increasing the intensity of your workouts.

cynthialynn0313: congrats on the 3lbs! Those other 9 will melt right off. Keep it up!

jigglefree: Thanks again. It's nice to know you understand with being a military brat. I couldn't imagine how hard that would be, that's probably why you are such a strong woman! It was harder how we said good-bye, he was stress and didn't think how he came across and it really hurt, but my mom and bf said not to take it personal, which he realized and we both hugged. I like your idea of changing the calories for the weekends. I think that would help considering I eat way differently on the weekends. Keep kickin maaaajor bootie!

Katy05: Yay for 190.6! And you even stayed on track when you ate with your family which is amazing, it's hard with trying to watch calories and family. Thanks for the compliment . I hope you have a wonderful day!

This morning I weighed in and I lost 1lb which I figured I would lose about 2lbs of bloat from overreating this weekend. The family wanted chineese food as the "last supper" lol. I'm back on track with CC and ready to start a new week. I came home last night from work and the bf cleaned the house again, did dishes, re-organized the fridge and got all the healthy food together and finished the hardwood floors....wow he's amazing! It's nice to open the fridge and have everything organized, way easier to lose weight.

So I'm trying to be more simple with lunches, before I would make chicken salad and the sort, but now I'm going to try a turkey sandwich, 1 portion of chips, fruit and water. And I'll pack another snack. the problem is what do I do Mon. and Wed. when I have class til 9pm? It's hard to pack a frozen meal because of fridgeration, I can pack a lunch and it will keep for an hour or so, which I eat at around 1pm ish. But nothing fresh will keep until 5 or 6pm. They only thing I'm hoping will work is eating a small snack and then eating dinner when I get home at 9:30, which is later than I wanted but I need to keep OP with my meals. Any suggestions?

Well i'm off to get ready for class. I hope everyone has a great day!

Well, the scale is up 2lbs to 179.4 from challenge start of 177.4, so Happy Freakin Birthday to me! lol Buuuut, i was actually surprised it wasn't in the 180s...since it was the weekend before my bday, the DH & I shared a couple bottles of wine on Saturday...we should've stopped after the 1st, but went out and got 3 more bottles...only one of them is remaining! lol I didn't even weigh yesterday bc I was afraid!! haha then my friend then took me to see Alice in Wonderland (no popcorn YAY) and out to lunch...Pie in the Sky...I had a cheese calzone w/grilled chicken added...I have NO CLUE how many calories were in that thing, but it was good and it was all I ate the whole day...sooo, I was pleasantly surprised to see 179.4 (which is what I was on Saturday morning)

AND, one good thing is that I'm not having bday cake today...I made a Hungry Girl recipe called Upside Down Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake...less than 150 per 1/2cup serving...she called for reduced-fat PB, but I used "Better N Peanut Butter" which has less calories...so atleast I'll be good today! LoL here's the recipe: http://www.hungry-girl.com/week/week....php?isid=1882

Well, I better go workout...WATP and Exercise TV Cardio and then maybe running on the TM tonight at work...still so happy I'm 28 today and the lightest I've been in my ENTIRE ADULT LIFE!!! A big thanks to all of you for your help, support, inspiration, and advice!!!

Misspriss- Thanks for the pic comment. Life in Korea is well. I'm looking for a new job right now and one that I really want I will find out sometime this week if I got it. Keeping my fingers crossed. Its a public school here and will keep me close to the boyfriend. Life is well.

Hope everyone is having a good start to the week. I had a good day. No extra exercise aside from the 30 minute walk to work and back. Today was my rest day. I did stay on plan with food today. I made some amazing burritoes for dinner with grilled veggies and black beans. Awesome stuff!! Hope to show some kind of loss this week. I'm going to go back to WATP dvds this week because they really make me sweat. Hope it works.
