Congradulations Lori!!! You did it!!! 100 lbs!!! That's a huge accomplishment, I get the dancing banana's at the start of the challenge, I giggled when I saw them. I'm in this challenge too, I really ate too much today , so I'm sure I'll have about 5 lbs. to lose til Arbor Day.

Everyone else- Hello, hope your having a good week.
Well, this week I have been on plan for food and diet for the most part. A small slip one day for chocolate related to TOM though. I have been trying to get back into exercising because I know it will help me in the long run get to where I want to be. So far its been difficult though. I can only make it through 15 minutes of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Then last night the boyfriend and I tried out the Biggest Loser 30 day jump start. I don't like the instructors because the transitions between movement are hard to follow, but it was still ok. I only tried it for 20 minutes though because it was late at night and I didn't want to wake the neighbors. Anyways, that dvd works well for me and the bf because it has beginner moves for me and very advanced moves for him. Hoping when TOM leaves this weekend it takes a nice woosh of weight with it.
LORI!!!! Congratulations on making such a huge goal! You should be so impressed with yourself - losing that weight takes tenacity and drive, and clearly you have both! Very happy for you!
Me - well, I had a foot long Subway today, but that was lunch and dinner, so it's not so bad. And it was the chicken teriyaki, with a ton of veggies and no mayo or cheese, so it turned out to be about 350 per serving, which isn't bad for a main meal. But I did have a bag of Baked Lays too - I love those suckers. The scale WILL move at some point, but not today as it's TOM and I am bloated beyond all recognition and I feel like a giant blobby blob. But I know it's temporary and I'll feel normal again when I wake up!
Got one of my dearest friends coming to stay for the weekend - he leaves his husband behind in LA with my husband, and he and I go shopping and gambling and get caught up on all the gossip. It's so much fun and I am in such dire need to a relaxing day or two, I can NOT wait!
I'm visiting my parents until Saturday, my dad is leaving for Alaska tomorrow ......We are not dealing with it well. My sister is taking it the hardest because she lives at home and sees him packing everyday and leaving, so she's really letting my dad have it. For those of you who don't know I posted about my dad going through his mid-life crisis in the last challenge. He got this great job offer and thinks he has a short time left and is just going thinking my mom will follow him. Ya well not really thought out very well. It's even harder knowing they have a very happy and loving 28 year marriage. She says it's something she just has to let him do. So off of that
I have to get back on track. this past week was horrible and I need to get back into the gym. I'm getting my belly back and with TOM it isn't helping. So as I always say one day at a time.
Lori: Congrats! seriously I am so proud of you, I knew you could do it! A 100lbs is a whole person and I'm very happy you got to do it on the day your sister and dad celebrated their birthdays...you did it! Thanks for the pic comment. I took that yesterday, I posted a few pics on the st. patty's day challenge, i'll post more later.

YAY! It's time to start another challenge!!! I've been really busy the past couple of days...LOTS of stuff going on at work and just no time to sign on here...looks like there's alot of us returning and ALOT of newbies also! These challenges are such a great way to get to know everyone AND stay motivated!!!
My weight goal for this challenge will be 5lbs, puting me at 172.4! Since I finished C25K this week, I'd also like to keep running atleast 3x a week. When I reach 175, I'd like to take front, side, & back shots to compare to the series I took at 195. I've added some other pics to my 3FC blog (link to the left) that show me throughout my journey (started in May/June 08).

JD - I was coming back!! These challenges are fun and inspiring. I'm going to really be pushing this go around. It would be nice to get to goal before my baby's birthday. Your mom is right to let him do him. Alaska is beautiful country though. We lived there for 7 years when my dad was in the air force. Tell her I said she'll be missing out if she doesn't go, at least for a visit.
Jules - That's hilarious...bloated beyond all recognition!! I think 350 is good for a main meal.

I missed my last challenge goal by 2.5lbs. Since I have been increasing my mileage my weight loss is starting to slow down. I really need to figure out how to get it moving again. I can really see the inches melting so I will not let it get me down too bad.
Today I am at 197 (Boo) so my goal is just 5lbs. I would be happy to finally get past 193 and past another 10% goal of weight loss for myself.
Sorry I was so MIA at the end of last challenge. I completed my first 5k race in Disney 3/6/10. Sorry things were a little out of sorts. But I did enjoy the few extra days we took in FL for vacation. I am now starting the 10K training program. I hope to run the 10k in MA on the 4th of July.

Just checking in...I got an awesome workout in today, a circuit that was about 63minutes long...i was sweating buckets full! Anywhoo...my diet wasn't very good yesterday but today is going great, that seems to be my pattern good one day then bad the next Im trying to get better at it...lots of stuff going on and im an emotional eater. But, i WILL get my focus back, im not trying to make any excuses,promise

Shan-Glad to see you!!! 30-day shred is no joke, Jillian is kick butt in that workout. Even the first level is intense...definitely gets your heart rate up. I almost bought three of her other workouts the other day on sale for like 5$ a piece, im kicking myself for not getting them. I didn't know she had so many workouts. I love her on the biggest loser too...

OH MY GOSH! I DID IT!! I ACTUALLY RAN OUTSIDE!!! I tried to talk myself out of it, but fought back and just did it! I warmed up for about 0.2mile, ran (REALLY SLOW) for 1mile, walked 0.2mile, than ran back home for 1mile (again, REALLY SLOW)...I was soooo proud of myself!!! I didn't stop once during the mile jogs! I measured out a mile from my driveway in the car and then just decided to do it! my road has a couple hills, and one really big one, but I got through it!!! I called the DH at work and was sooooo excited! hahaha he was just like "Uh, good job...but I gotta go" LoL he was busy
My weight has been up the last 2 days, and I'm not sure if it's my "normal weight cycle" (up up up, down down down, stable, stable, up up up, down down down and so forth) or bc I didn't get all my water that last few days OR bc I had some high sodium foods yesterday...at any rate, it's up, but I know it's not "actual" pounds! haha my calories are on track for today...gonna try to make "cauliflower mashed potatoes" tonight...hopefully I'll like them and have a new option to go along w/my meats for dinner meals...
lori---Hope you had fun celebrating your 100lb loss yesterday & today!! did you do anything special?? or do you have something planned for when you meet your origial goal?? I've been thinking i MIGHT get another tattoo...i only have 1 (lizard on my lower back) and it HURT REALLY BAD but I've been thinking about another small one...somewhere I can admire it! lol

I'm almost down a pound already! I haven't eaten anything bad since Tuesday and the water weight is starting to come off. I was 176.8 today...hopefully it keeps going down!

OH & I agree these challenges are super to get to know everyone & stay motivated~& THE RUNNING OMG GIRL~WAY TO GO!!!!!I MA SUPER PROUD OF U FOR THAT ACHIEVEMENT! As for my 100 pounds ~my hubby went into walmart to get himself some tools he needed came out with me a bunch of Jewlery that was on mark down that I was looking at awhile back~I was so dang amazed~LOL He had just ordered me a new wedding ring set cause Mine had got so big that They was falling off & they was sterling silver So noone would size them. ~So I was blown away~that he gt me this other stuff too And he got me everything I was looking at~The man is good to me~He said he felt silly carrying around a bunch of jewelry But said he was proud of me & i was worth it.~Then when we got home my rings were in the mail~WHICH ROCKED!! They are beautiful and fit great~Funny thing is My others got so tight that I could not even wear them for about 2 months until I lost some of my first few pounds~LOL! I also went to Another thrift shop & got tons of clothes yesterday evening too! Which was like Christmas to me! I love thrift shops!~When I reach my 150 I am gonna paint my nails with the ghost buster logo~Yeah I know this will take hours & lots of patience But I will pull it off somehow & wear my ghost busters shirt for an after pic! Since I always say I Looked like the marshmellow guy in the old ghost busters movie In my before pic~(my hubby bought me the ghostbusters goal shirt for Christmas!) I think my best thing I got to do yesterday~is my hubby picked me up & twirled me around~I felt like an angel~Cause I love my hubby so much~Thrilled me he could lift me with ease!!! OMG I AM SO BLABBING ON & ON~LOL

Me & my hubby aint had a babysitter (not even a grandparent) But 1 time ever for all 3 kids(that was when My dad was living) Years ago * my youngest is 9 So its been to long since we have had a break. My family & my hubbys family are not trustworthy ~I am super glad you have a good mother~That makes such a huge difference in a kids life.~my Grandmother was very good to me & I miss her dearly.~HUGS TO YA!

TOM looks like it's letting go here, as I was up quite a bit this morning and now I'm under 230... yay! I hadn't expected that.... breaking the 130 mark helps seemed to be plateauing a bit there....
Lori- Loved your photos, you look like a totally different person. You look great! As for me, I had 1060 cal. today, which is good cause I went overboard on peanut butter 2 days ago and gained 1.5 lbs. I really want to get back down to my feel good weight(105lbs.). 3.8 lbs. to go!
