Hello everyone, I haven't checked in for a couple of days so wanted to see how everyone is doing.
Shan, I'm sorry to hear that you have the flu and wasn't able to make your trip as planned. I hope you are feeling better by now.
One thing I am doing during the holidays is rating myself whenever I have any sort of eating event. Thursday night I attended a party and I am giving myself * * ** *. That's an improvement over last week when I had only one sad little star.
misspriss, keep at it and the pounds will come off!! Ya gotta believe!! That's what I am telling myself. I've been hovering around 172 since before Thanksgiving and would love to see 171 next week. I have no big eating events between now and then, so if I stick to my pre-holiday routine between now and next Wednesday, maybe I will be rewarded. And I'm wishing the same for you!
Just checking in with everybody. I'm still down and out with good ole' swine flu. My second test came back positive as well. I only have two more days left of the tamiflu. I'm going back to the hospital tomorrow morning because they want to run some more tests and give me more medicine if need be.
The good news is that I still have this week off since it was already supposed to be my vacation time. The excellent news is that my Korean boss is being nice enough to actually let me reschedule to take another week off to have "real" vacation time. How great is that?
Even better, swine flu is helping me drop some weight without even going to the gym. Haha.

misspriss78~My Scale/Weight Is giving me a time to for the past week ....I Am stuck at 168....Which is A super weight....But I am glad to let it go .......I wanna see 167 or lower! uggggghhhhhhh~I Know how ya feel misspriss~we will get results soon.....Just sucks waiting.

shan84~wow~Swine flu scares the heck out of me.......IS it as bad as everyone says? I have emphysema....So I am trying to avoid it but I am sure I will get it eventually...UGH~So scary. I am glad to see your doing good with it though or seem to be..I hope ya are!!! I think it is cool of your boss~That is so nice~Korea Must be a great place to work.
As for me................Spent the day with my hubby & kids. Had a good Saturday with them.I always cook a big breakfast for us every Saturday & sunday morning...I enjoy it so much. I had 2 eggs with cheese /3 pieces of toast which I ate the eggs on/ a banana /& a bowl of corn flakes cereal for breakfast this morning...I Always eat a large portion of my calories in the morning ~Gives me more energy & Feels me up for hours. Well I am super sleepy....It's after midnight & I need to get up early to make our breafast. The kids get up at like 7 or so....I usually get up around 8:30 and start cooking. So I gotta get some sleep or breakfast may get burnt LOL.

Hi everyone. I weighed in yesterday and I'm down 1/2 pound. I pigged out today though. Haven't done that for a couple of months so tomorrow I'm back on plan again.

Well, I'm going to wait until tomorrow to post an official number for my weigh in, but because of this swine flu I have dropped some drastic weight. Hope it stays off. I'm feeling better, no more fever, but I haven't got rid of this cough yet. I'm heading back to the hospital this morning for a check up. I'll let ya'll know what I find out.
Misspriss: I haven't been to work for a few days, and thats where my mail gets delivered. So i don't know if I got it yet. I mailed yours last week though so be looking for it this week.
Ok, so I'm not waiting til tomorrow to weigh in. I'm going to take today's number and run with it. I'm posting an official loss of 6lbs this week. Unofficially 12lbs. Since I had a huge gain last week, I took it off plus another 6lbs thanks to this swine flu. Hopefully I get a clean bill of health from the doctor later today so I can start going back to my regular routine.
Shan I am glad to hear you are feeling better. And 6lbs is CRAZY. I hope it holds on for you too.

Just a quick weekend check in. It was pretty much a quiet weekend.
I have been reading up on interval training and circuit training and have decided to create a personal 6wk bootcamp. I am hoping to focus on loss inches and stamina (and a few lbs off won't hurt either).
I built this crazy schedule and I am really going to push myself. It's a little scary and a whole lot exciting, so wish me luck. I will keep you all updated on progress.
It is so great to have some place to come and know that you will get the support you need. No matter how crazy your ideals may be.
Hang in there all. We are coming to the home stretch.
Bah humbug to the eating plan today. It's not that I went spectacularly off plan, but I definitely snacked more than I wanted to. I'd guess around 300 calories over - it's all this English candy my dad brought me. I love it but some days are harder to exert control over it than others!
jendiet ~I think it's just the weather ~LOL~Or thats what I will blame it on. As long as we all stay on plan we should see some good results soon.

Well school is finally OVER. I graduate next Sunday!! Tomorrow is the dreadful weigh-in. I'm definitely not looking forward to seeing the damage from the past 2 weeks, plus this week is TOM. Tomorrow basically restarts the challenge for me, so I know I will not reach my Christmas goal, but that's ok. I am now out of school and will not be working again until January, so I will devoting plenty of time to exercise. I'll check back in tomorrow. Have a good night everyone.
Well I weighed in this morning at 177.6. So basically I'm back to where I was a month ago. But that's ok, because now I will be carefully monitoring calories and exercising more. I definitely plan on staying on track now that I do not have the stress and work of school. But on a really good note, my biology teacher gave me a B in the class. Technically my average, without any curving of test grades, is a D. But he curved the test grades, which gave me a C, but then gave me a B in the class! I love teacher's that take effort into account.
