AHHHH! Almost quitting time. been a long day.

I have stuck to plan all day today. BRAVO me. I am very hungry because my body has gotten used to eating more than I am eating today. It will have to adjust to it. I can say I feel better today than I have in a few days. Just don't understand why I eat things that make me feel sick? It is so silly. Like I said it was a wake up call, literally, last night that made me realize I am eating to much. I don't want to wake up sick like that again.

My headache went away but the stink is still here in the office. It takes about a week for that stink will clear all the way.

DD and I are going to the tanner tonight after work. Then I am going home and make a Chik patty w/Franks Hot Sauce and put it over a salad. SOUNDS YUMMY!

Calories for Wednesday: 1650
Calories for Tuesday: 1980 WOW!
Now you can see why I am so hungry today. I should finish today around 1400.

Talk at you all tomorrow.

Are you breastfeeding? If so, I think 300 calories for a breastfeeding mom is so low

How are you going to "spend" your 300 calories? If all I had was 300 calories for a meal, I would eat steamed veggies with herbs (broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini) some lentil and veggie soup and a fresh salad

you wanna know how I spent my 300 cals? LOL

one piece WW toast
black bean garden burger patty
fried egg
hot sauce all on an open faced sandwich
another apricot
water

Yes I am breastfeeding but all is well. My milk supply is excellent. I noticed at 1500-1600 range I lose 2 pounds a week and when I creeped up to 1700-1900 one week I actually gained a pound. I guess I have a crappy metabolism, but I have started a little exercise.

Calories for today~ 1498
Fiber~ 47 grams

Does anyone know what to do with A LOT of celery? We belong to a CSA (we pay for a crop share in a local farm and they bring us produce every week) and we've gotten celery a couple weeks in a row. I can't go through it fast enough and I add it to everything (salads, curries, etc.)

I promise to catch up on posts tomorrow since I have they day off (we work 4 10 hour days in a week.)

Everyone have a great evening!

Good Evening everyone!! How's everyone doing?

Charlene- You don't have to post your calorie intake and stuff if you don't want, alot of us do to keep accountable for what we're putting in our bodies, and it also gives each other an idea of how much we're eating that day.

CoolMom- Great way to spend your calorie allowance!!! Sounds delish to me! I'm sitting here pondering what I want to do either eat my 235 left, or call it an evening since I only did my walk today. LOL! Oh well! Bodies are funny, I thought I would surely gain from eating so off the wagon, but I loss. Hmm...makes ya think!

Good Night everyone!

Thanks! I'm going to bookmark that right now!

We love our CSA as well. In fact, I curried some of the cauliflower from them for dinner tonight. Yum! Yes, I did throw in some celery too.

hey ladies, how is everyone doing??

I am doing okay..i have a few t's to cross and i's to dot before I have to walk thru the door at work, so I think thats what is helping keep the stress kinda down this week..my other "problem" the young crush..i laid it on the line the other night and told him who I am..and it is over..but i kind of have an obsessive personality so it's been really hard telling myself it's over..even though I know it is, except that it had never started in the first place..i mean, what part of "I"m sorry- you're just too old" do I not understand???
lol
But anyway..i stuck it out this week...I had my weigh in today and lost 2 and a quarter lbs, so that was nice. Brings me to 16lbs down..so i couldnt wait to come home to change my ticker and avatar..lol such a geek
I had a treat meal tonight becasue it was dh's birthday and he wanted KFC and a DQ cake..so I had one piece of chicken (disapointing!) and about 10 fries dipped in gravy..a plate of greens with dressing, and a biggish piece of cake. I did enjoy the cake and gravy..lol
I think I'm going to have a treat meal every 2nd thursday or friday..every week seems a bit much (I havent done it but a couple friends have)and I'm scared i might get off track if they are too frequent..if that makes any sense.

now all i have to do is stop thinking about this dude! I even am dreaming about us (literally- not daydreaming) SIGH!!! I just keep thinking irrational things like, he's going to change his mind (not), wait til he sees me at goal weight (won't change the fact we've got nothing in common and I'm 12yrs older than him) etc etc..

ON a more postitive note I am definitely getting out of the habit i think of reaching for something when I am stressed, I can feel it build up with a bunch of nervous energy but I have a mint and coffee instead and type hard on the computer..lol and I've been working out for 1-2 hours every night which i think is also helping,,i'm really starting to enjoy it!

Take care, girls!

I saw something about this on PBS! It looked like so much fun. I wonder if this is available in my area. what does the CSA stand for? nevermind...I just googled CSA and found it!

It looks like we have a few farms to choose from. one is a 52 week delivery, and the full share is about $1000 for the year, half shares $650. How much food are we talking here?

Hi everyone & welcome Charlene!

I haven't been around all week, it's been busy, busy. Work & planning a surprise 16th bday party for my DD.

Haven't done too great with counting, but I have been being careful! I have been having alot of cravings, then AF showed up. hmm, guess that explained alot!
Staying away from trail mix, that stuff kicked in my cravings, big time!

Went shopping w/ DD tonight, she told me I needed new clothes. I haven't bought anything new, except big t-shirts in over a yr now. So I tried on a few things- then got disgusted and headed for the work out clothes! Have the gym membership, but my excuse has been, need w/o clothes and new shoes. Now I only need a new pair of shoes, going to get them this weekend. You know, the kids come first w/ clothes/ shoes. I hate spending the money on me because well, the money doesn't stretch as far as I'd like most times. But, gotta do this! I got so down trying on clothes! But this made me determined to get my butt to the gym! I think my DD is kinda embarrased because I don't dress *nice*. She hasn't said it in so many words, but.

Natalia- WTG on the weight loss & work out! You should be so proud of yourself!!! Don't worry about the crush thing, it will pass.

I better say good night! Keep up the will power everyone!
