hey girls!
I did well today, thank goodness...
wrote down my menu in the other thread..and i think I will continue to do so. It may even help in another way~ I'm actually supposed to be journaling it on paper but right now I'm actually finding online more convenient. As long as i write it somewhere I can always come back once a week to write it down in my binder too
Zenor- point well taken about the weight loss. Once you kind of remove the outer layer, the other "problems" seem way more visible, and dare I say, Problematic??! lol I really need to stay there for the short term tho, to kind of get to the point, dh is still in school (he graduates in about 4 weeks) and then he will be apprenticing ..so not too much income there. I work on the phones but becasue of the union I'm in I make an uncommon amount of money (I would NEVER find another job that would pay me that much)..now I think I could work for about $8-$10 less per hour and not have a huge drop in net income becasue so much gets taken out of us with union dues, disability dues, high taxes, pension etc etc...but the perks are many,
I'm not going to be there forever thats for sure, but I think maybe the longer I can stick it out right now, the better..DH says he doesnt mind at all being the breadwinner once things get up and rolling and have me just puttering around working PT as the mood strikes, lol I think he likes the idea of me being home with ds al the time at his disposal. (I do, too. ) And it was so nice to hear those words

esp since I'm not Suzi Homemaker, iykwim. I am a good cook, a good companion, but I don't chase dust bunnies all day..lol I do the basics and leave the rest until I can't stand it anymore, or we have company coming..lol
Grammy- You know, I have never tried those california rolls. They have never really "spoken " to me, but maybe I am missing out. I am adventurous in other areas but when it comes to trying new food I have to pay for, i am suddenly very frugal. I still have not even ever tried thai or japanese or indian either..
dh is kinda picky too about ethnic foods so when I've triecd to coax him towards thai last year, he nixed it..
Petra I would love to hear what you think of shrek 3, theyre saying it's better than shrek 2 which I didn't care for, but I really did enjoy number 1.
I usaully fall asleep at the theatre; I think I am hubby's worst nightmare, lol
Well, girls it's 2.27am and I still haven't exercised yet, so I have to log off here and hop on the bike for awhile...
Talk soon and be good!
