AMEN to never seeing the 240's again!!! I feel ya on that one!!

QOTD: Well cutting my calorie in take down to under 1400 was where I did good. Bad = I'm not working out as much as I'd like & we went for mexican food wednesday. I think I did ok for the food, however, I can not pass up a jumbo-on-the-rocks-margarita-without-salt.

Also, my goal for this whole challenge was to get down to 225 & I'm 10 pounds away from that so I think I'm doing good there!!

What did you do successfully this week in terms of weight loss?
I joined weight watchers and stuck to the plan, until Friday! I worked out when I could.

What didn't go so well?
I went for my Pre-Op checkup on Friday and the doctor informed me that I would spend Sunday and today on a liquid diet. So, I figured on Friday and Saturday that I had better live it up while I could! I ate quite a bit. Used all of my daily and weekly WW points. I didnt gain any weight, but it wasnt exactly the best decision on my part!

Gotta get to class, so I will make this a quickie"

What did you do successfully this week in terms of weight loss? I logged ALL my food and did 120 total minutes of exercise, plus two hours of heavy cleaning this weekend! I also got all my water in every day!

What didn't go so well? I could have done more cardio minutes....but that will work its way up.

Adios, chicas!

Hey Teammies. Good Monday afternoon. It's snowing here but they say it will only be a couple of inches. I can deal with that. I just spoke with someone in Des Moines and she said they have a buttload!! Guess I should be happy with what we have and not complain. I've been sick all weekend so haven't posted. I haven't eaten anything since Friday. Just don't think my stomach can handle it right now. But everything will be better in a couple of days and then I'll be back full force!!

My success this past week would have to be that I really paid attention to my points and to what it was I was eating.

What didn't go so well would have to be that I haven't exercised at all and I'm not getting in all my fruits and veggies. Gotta work on that as soon as I can get up and around.

I'll check back in when I can. Be good to yourselves and let's blow the blue team out of the water this week!!!

Success: This week I was successful by working out about 4 hours. That's about 4x as much as I've been working out regularly. I went to the gym 3 days in a row for an hour each--the gym has been missing my presence since before Christmas.

Weak point: I'm not calorie counting. For awhile it felt IMPOSSIBLE to get back into exercising again and now it feels IMPOSSIBLE to count calories again. Hopefully since I realized one was not impossible, I can convince myself of the same for the other.

Success - I doubled my exercise target and stuck to 1,500 calories per day every day (mostly made up of healthy food with the odd square of chocolate an occassional treat). I drank tons of water.

Weakness - I didn't always eat at regular times so sometimes ended up eating more of my allocated calorie count in the evening rather than earlier in the day which left me feeling dizzy and weak mid-afternoon and bloated before bed.

Here's to a successful second week for us all!!!

Success - I lowered my portions sizes. I cut some of my carbs out and could tell that made a huge difference. I basically kicked my own butt at the gym. I upped my intensity hardcore and I feel so accomplished. And I didnt give in to temptation even though is was around EVERY corner

Weakness - I found excuses not to go to cardio classes at the gym. Not this week though

Full workout done for today. Off to a cardiobox class. We are going to SMASH week 2 in the weigh in

Hi Everybody,

Success: Watched what I ate and the exercise challenge really kept me inline with getting that exercise in everyday.

Weakness: Being at home makes me want to munch. Now that I have 3 day week-ends, I really have to make a point to keep myself busy so I don't munch.

Congratulations clewles!!

bradleys mom-- good luck with your surgery. I hope you have a speedy recovery!!

I lost enough to be back at my ticker weight, so that is good.

Things I've done well: I woke up on the weekday mornings to get my run in. This morning I got up at 4:30 and did 50 minutes on the treadmill.

Things I need to work on: I ate like it was my job. I think the rainy weather combined with me actually going out with friends this weekend made for lots of extra calories.

O. This weekend, I sang two karaoke songs all by myself I've never done that before! (I can't carry a tune in a bucket) but it was a lot of fun.

Wink

QOTD- I was totally on-plan. Stuck to 1400 calories, exercised each day for 45 min. I stuck to my guns, even when TOM helped me gain 3 pounds.

I honestly don't know what I can do better. If I did, I would try it.

Everyone is doing great. It's a little scary with all the pregnancies popping up. It's not contagious, is it?? Congrats to all. I am going to go check out weigh-ins now.

Hi All~Today has been a good day! I drank 64 ounces of water. I ate on program. though I have to say I did go on a seek and search mission. I found nothing that was a no no to eat. That is the beauty of not keeping bad food in the house. If it isn't there I can't eat it. I ate a healthy granola bar instead, and was perfectly happy with it. The urge passed, I got on with my day. I went for a 20 minute walk also, that helped a great deal too. I did a 30 minute step workout this evening. I am going to do some wall push ups before bed.~~~Tomorrow I will be away from the computer for most of the morning. I have a doctors' appointment in the morning :-)))). I imagine she will me before seeing me. I will try not to look, but I imagine my weight will come up in the conversation because I am over 40 pounds heavier than the last time she seen me. I can honestly tell her I have lost 20 pounds, my pants are falling off my person, I have been exercising, and I belong to 3fc. I might ask her for some nutrition information. I will catch ya all later Pat

About what time will the TBL last chance exercise challenge be posted tomorrow? As I said I will be away for a good part of the day. I don't want to miss it like I did last week.

I was thinking the same thing, Mindy.

Success: I worked out 5 out of 7 days.

Weakness: I thought all those workouts entitled me to a late night snack

Hi Red Team!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day! I love hearing about the new mamas-to-be, but I'm not planning on catching that one. We have two adopted children and I've finally come to terms with the nearly impossible odds that we'd ever get pregnant. My two boys are amazing and I am so blessed to be their mommy....but they are all I can handle. Two toddler boys, 3 dogs and a sometimes pain in the butt husband are enough for me!

QOTD...

Success: I stayed on plan every single day! Food + Water + Exercise!!!

Weakness: Getting a little "snack happy" on weekends when we are around the house.

Outta here for now...
