Just IMO bowling really isn't a "great" exercise. You don't really get your heart rate up for any extended amount of time. It is however fun and way better then sitting in a movie theater!
Along the same lines I don't count my kickball games because I have no clue the amount of time I'm running vs. sitting on my butt waiting to go once more.

Hello guys. I can't come on here very often. I am in the middle of all the rubble in Houston and the hurricane ike disaster. I have no power still at my house but came up to my mil's to use their internet. I am checking in quickly beause we need to get back home before dark. I am desperate for my internet and electricity. It is me, dh, and our 4 children. I think i'm gonna be losing weight just from the stress of all this. Will be back on as soon as our electricity is back up or if I am able to make it back up here again.

Thanks for the input, heather! I didn't think it really should count.. but just wanted to make sure!
My DH is going 'jogging' with me tonite. I am TERRIFIED! He runs 2-4 miles 3 days a week in the army and I... well i'm on week four of c25k. We will see how this turns out! hehe
And to stacylynn: I stopped after finishing week four a few weeks ago and restarted on week four again yesterday. Start where you think you are ready.. if it's too easy move ahead.. if it's too hard go back! good luck! Glad to see so many c25kers!

Tawnya, it's so good to hear from you and to know that you and your family are safe. It must be extremely difficult to deal without your usual resources. Hang tough and take care of yourself.
