I cannot keep up with all of these posts!!! I think i'm on overload....lol. I will definitly be watching the show tonight. I am unable to exercise during it though, since I will probably fall asleep in the middle of it. I get up at 4:30am to work out, so my bedtime is usualy 8:30-9:00.

Morning Team!

In my attempt to stay awake this morning, I'm getting the exercise challenge setup. The post is already there, just need to get the details worked out so we can get started today.

How's everyone doing this morning? Just a quick hello from me today and I'll try and be more communicative from now on...I promise

Kelly, I'll be watching the show tonight. I don't know if I'll watch the entire season or not but I'll definitely watch it tonight I won't be exercising during the show but I'll do my workout after I go home from work. I try to do my exercise before I eat dinner as it's easier that way and I can avoid coming up with excuses

Have a great OP day everyone and make sure you drink lots of water and exercise...even if for 20 mins. Every little bit counts

Well, no run for me last night. I was dressed and ready to go - only to found out the community building in our apt complex with the gym was closed for a private function (people in business suits and high heels really need the gym, eh?). Okay, whatever, I'll just run outside... It was a nice evening. DH was with me, we were talking, the talk turned stressful, and I turned around and went home. Just wasn't feeling it anymore. I need to learn to not depend on him for company on runs if this is what's going to happen.

Tonight I am going to a concert, which should be fun - I'm going to see a friend from college play. She's pretty awesome and I am very excited for her that she's finding such success in the music industry. Unfortunately this also means running won't happen tonight either.... Boy, am I just full of excuses or what? Just in a little bit of a funk right now, I think. :/

Hope everyone else is doing well.

I am not a big tv watcher but I love the show HOUSE and will be flipping back and forth between shows. I am planning on seeing just how long i can jump on the minitramp during the shows.

You make a good point, Rhonda. And you're right. When everyone else is working at it, it definitely makes me want to continue, too. More butt-kicking for all!

I challenge everyone who will be watching the show tonight to get in at least 30 minutes of exercise during the show. At only 30 minutes, you can just exercise during the commercials. I plan on getting in my LCW (Last Chance Workout) during the entire show, so 60 minutes on the Elliptical and 30 minutes of Hula Hooping and 30 minutes on the Recumbant bike.

Hope everyone joins me!
That's a great idea!!! This is going to be my first time watching the show tonight. I think it's a fantastic idea to be moving a little while it's going on.

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm feeling good and I hope everyone else out there is, too. Not to much to report. So I just wish everyone a great OP day!

To anyone feeling a little overwhelmed by the posts: You don't have to reply to everyone, and you don't even have to read every little thing. Just keep the rest of us updated by what's going on in your life, and respond to the things that call to you.

I probably won't be watching the show due to other commitments but I think its an excellent idea to try and exercise while watching.

Unfortunately all my exercising is done at the gym with no tv! But I've started reading magazines while walking on the treadmill and that is fun. I'm hoping to buy an ipod soon so I can listen to music or catch up on my podcasts.

Talk soon!

Morning ya'll! I didn't get a bit of exercise in yeterday, but I'm planning on a long walk after work. I just need to go home and make sure the Tivo is going to catch BL before I hit the track. BBL - I need to get some work done.

Good morning team!

I got in a good amount of exercise last night (6.6K run, 150 sit-ups, 30 push-ups) and ate smarter, and today I was rewarded by seeing that the pound I put on last week is gone. It doesn't help the team out much yet since I'm back to my initial weight, but I'm going to get my butt in gear and get down a pound by the weekend!

Have a fantastic OP day today everyone!!

Hey everyone,

Just checking in. No exercise yesterday...I pulled something in my shoulder/chest area a couple of weeks ago and its still no completely right. I run for exercise and its still too uncomfortable. Going to try again tonight, if its still sore, Ill just walk.
However I am happy to announce a 2lb lose already this week! I do think this is in reaction to coming back from holiday and getting straight back to eating good and drinking plenty of water, but what ever caused it, I will take it. Here's to a great lose for everyone this week.

What can the group do to help keep you on track? I learn by example. Themore you guys are doing, the more I want to step up my game. Like DJAY and GIRLYGIRL said, peer pressure really influences me. If I see other people slacking I start unconsciously thinking it's ok if I slck a little too. AHH!

How can we help out if you feel like you're starting to slip or things become a little rough? Support and no telling me it's ok to rest.. remind me how good it will make me feel to stay on plan and whatnot. My husband will be deployed really soon and im sure I will have some bad days... REMIND ME that food wont make him come back. i need to accpet the situation and do the best that I can with our time away from each other. I gotta work it! and keep busy!

SO i worked out lots yesterday. I had taken a hiatus from c25k and just stuck to walking lately. I did week 4 day 1 again and the initial test of the push up challenge and soe walking.. and still no drop in weight. i hope it's cause my muscles re a little sore from some new exercise that my weights not going down. i mean i ate on plan, lots of water and exercise. I hate when it doesnt go down! hehe

anyway.. heres to another good day!!

oh and about the biggest loser show: I dont have cable.. but will watch it online as soon as it's posted on thier website. I hope to do WATP 3 mile during the time it's on for everyone else though!

Christina: Thinking of you, your family and your mom. Hugs from kansas

Hi all,

Just dropping in to introduce myself... This is my first challenge and I'm very excited to be getting started. I teach ELL students (english language learners) and this is my third week back to school. This is a good thing for me during the challenge since my eating during the summer break is sometimes a tad too free-wheeling. The weather here in Seattle is beautiful so I'm taking evening walks as often as I can.

I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Donna
