I hate to be a drag everyone. But, I actually gained my first week. Ha! I gained the first week of the last BL contest so... not too worried. I know what's up, lack of sleep, adding in push-ups to my work out, water retention, the fact that last week I slept in a little before going to my weigh-in.... Oh well... I'm not upset for myself, just working towards a better weigh-in next week. Of course, I'm sad for the team that the scale was not on my side...
Hrm. But I should end on a plus. I'm going to a wedding reception tomorrow, and I'm going to look smashing in a size 16 dress!

Amy, wow - that's an amazing weight loss!! If I can lose 2 lbs a week, that would be a lot for me. Very impressive!!! You must have really logged some workout mintues.
And Jaime - good for you on getting in that run! I will now slowly return my Amish garb.
I recently said I was shooting for a ratio of 1g:1g protein and carb however my friend corrected my and it's really more of a 1.5g:1g so that will definitely be a little bit easier. Not easy coz I love me some carbs!!
I did a Leslie DVD this morning - 4 Fast Miles. Off to log my workout.
Great job Amy!
Good job getting that run on Jamie, I'm sure i will pay off this week.
Hi all, You guys are doing great keep it up. My back is sore today, but I plan to go back to my Sat aerobics class at the YMCA, it certainly isn't the best class, but it sure works.
amy...... Awesome job!!!! Congrats to all the runners....I am not comfortable running yet. I do good with my Wii Fit, treadmill and working out at the gym.

I squeaked in my run today. I'm so glad I did!! It made us late but I don't care! I feel so much better about myself on days that I exercise. I have been trying to alternate (when possible) running on the treadmill vs/ running on the track. Today was a track day, which is more difficult for me but we did it! (my kids and I that is) - DS (7) went 2 miles on C25K week 2 ! - thankfully DD didn't start trying to wiggle out of the stroller until the very end of my last run. --- Do they make chest clips for strollers??
Just lookin' in. I'm excited about my w.i. tomorrow even though I haven't had the best of weeks.
On another note, I'm feeling overwhelmed by the amount of posts, please don't mistake my lack of "personal messages" as "lack of interest". I really do read everything. If I had some more time I'd write notes but I'm swamped at work as well as personally.

ITA!! I'm reading!! By the time I get to the end though, I forgot what I was going to say!
Hello blues! AFter my Ice Cream binge it has been a good week. Today I ran for 60 mins!! 60 MINS!! I can't believe it. It is the first time I have done that. I was pretty stressed at work, and I have a pretty impossible task infront of me, and I thought if I get to 60 mins running I can do it.
I am off to bed, I hope everyone is doing well, and if you're not don't be hard on yourself, tomorrow is another day!
dubh WTG on the fantastic run! Going longer and further than before is such an awesome feeling. I always enjoy the ego boost I get from beating my longest previous distance.
As for me, I'm having a good day. I hopped on the scale this morning to check if I'd dropped any weight yet but I'm right at 195 still. Part of me wanted to eat dumb as a reaction but I turned it around and worked extra hard to make smart choices. I made good food choices again today and cut my portions back.
I went for a beautiful run in the woods at a dog park this afternoon. I forgot both my iPod and my Garmin so I felt extremely naked but it made for a really nice run. I couldn't track my time/distance/pace/heart rate and I had only the sounds of nature (and my sloshing water bottle) to listen to, and it was the nicest and most relaxed run I've had in ages. I ran for something like 40 minutes and probably around 4K, but I really can't say for sure and it doesn't matter since it wasn't the focus of my run. I stopped in to see my chiropractor after my run for some help with an old ankle injury and he got my neck, back, hip, shoulder, and ankle all sorted out for me. Now I'm all set for my race on Saturday!
just got out of a 4 hour study session and i'm ready to go to bed. i wanted to drop in. i too am overwhelmed by the thread but i read every post!
i have decided to join WW again. with 47 days till the election my life is just too busy to try to do it any other way. i need the structure and WW always works. that way if i eat something thats not necessarily great i can make up for it with the points etc. i am going to have to break down and pay for it. it works.
well i had a 75% OP day but tomorrow is a new day. no need to dwell on it. i hope everyone remembers to stick to the fight when you're hardest hit...
It's been a very busy week for me with my mom in the hospital. She is doing ok but not out of the woods, I think they may have to add another stent in her heart, that will make it 4. Good news is I have managed to not only stay OP with my food, but even get in some exercise.
I was really proud of myself today, when instead of going out to eat I went and joined the YMCA. Sure the dinner would have been cheaper, but this will pay off more in the long run. I am excited to do the water aerobics and horrified to wear a swimsuit. Does anyone know of a good place to buy swimwear for my size? I really rather it reveal as little as possible. I would go with a wet suit if they had one in my size, then toss a T-shirt over it.
Anyway, I should have been in bed, I have Curves in the morning. TGIF, I am so ready for a few mins peace. I wish I had time to read everything but I will do that tomorrow or Saturday.
Congrats to all who are doing well and staying OP. Another WoW for Amy, how did ya do it? Hugs for those having a hard time, stick with it, we are here for you.
Sadly, I haven't even been able to watch the first episode of BL yet. I hope I get the chance tomorrow. Thank god for DVR. Yay for Dan!(BB10 winner)

Faerie, Faerie, Faerie....girlie...you are doing FANTASTIC! Keep up the good work, exercising, and staying OP...who CARES what the scale says?!!!! Way to go with the focus and OP eating and working out and handling all the stresses of life before the big event...that is enough!

Well team...as for me...got on the treadmill when I got home tonight, so I am still OP with diet and exercise and right on track...it's looking good for me for this week's WI...I will keep it up! This feels like the me I want to be. 4 days perfectly OP with no self sabotage, and no second guessing or excuses!
Thanks Nori for the inspirational words! I want to be someone who exercises because it is just simply part of my daily routine!
