Have you thought about making one change at a time? Just focusing on one thing that I am committed to doing helps when I go through the lazy phases. For example, when I am having issues eating at night I cut off all eating after a certain time, no excuses, just no eating afte that time and it gets easier and easier until the night eating is no longer an issue. You can set any little goal and just make yourself do it until it's not an issue or you're inspired to add in something else as well. Hang in there...you'll get there.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS CHALLENGE TO START! I need to get my Butt in Gear! I've been really off and overwhelmed the last week - and I've put #2 back on! I've been losing and gaining the same #2.5 for over a month!!! AHHH!!!! SOMEONE KEEP ME ACCOUNTABLE! Today it ends! My eating is back on track (only 2 days off plan) and I WILL workout tonight! (4 days off plan) I HAVE TO GET TO THE #170's BEFORE TBL WE ARE FAMILY Starts!!!!! And that's NEVER going to happen if I keep sabotaging myself! This week is PMS (TOM due in tomorrow) and then next week TOM. Hopefully it's short, sweet, and NOT painful!

I need to get a grasp of my life right now! NO MORE WASTING TIME!!!!!

I just had the best lunch ever. Baby greens, quinoa, black and kidney beans, red onion, sprouts, mandarin oranges, and herbed tofu. Holy yum.

TOM reared its ugly head so my weight's a bit up right now... I'm sure it'll come back down in a couple of days. Of course my body decides to turn on the faucet now, as we're busy packing and cleaning and gearing up for this weekend's move, the one time when I just can't justify hanging out in bed all day drinking tea with my kittens.

to everyone, hope you're all doing well!

I have thought about it just never really do it. I have been making a blog for a little over a month now. I keep writing even though its not really doing anything and then someone told me to fake it til I make it, so thats what Ive been doing. This forum is really inspiring and I am on day 2 of doing really well. Thanks for the advice. I do have a big problem with eating at night.

Add me to the TOM group...I got on the scale this morning and saw a LOSS after working out last night...I think I had some water retained from all the eating out. The curious thing is that 30 mins later TOM started...I have never had a loss the same morning of TOM! I wonder if that means there is a bigger loss hiding somewhere! I have a ton of errands to do after work, so no gym, but I will be back tomorrow. Also, my work called a last minute pizza lunch meeting, so no walking either. I did good though...I chose to stand, rather than sit and I only had 1 small piece with broccoli and tomato and 1 bread stick. I will eat the pear and peach I brought in a little while. Anyway, I am trying to survive through the cramps without heavy drugs...now that I can DRIVE I can't take darvocets! I should've made my bf bring me this morning. Anyway...I hope everyone is having a great day! Happy Wednesday!!

Does anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend?

Hello girls! Hope all is well. I'm sorry I have not been here to keep up with you in between challenges. I'm going to blame it on our fearless leaders and getting me addicted to Plurk :P

Today I had my 1st official weigh in with Weight Watchers @ work. I'm going to have to change my signature now and unfortunately it is not for the good I'll have to do that tonight when I am at home. I promise that I will be more active here...I obviously need the support otherwise I would not have gained the weight back that I did.

Well I did have my weight last night and lost 3.2 pounds this of course after I gained coming back from vacation. Anyways I really need the challenge to start to keep me on track and more accountable. Not having my laptop working has really been the pits can't wait to have it fixed - well hopefully it can be fixed.....

Reading some of the last posts sounds like everyone is into tats and motorcycles which is great, I just bought a new motorcycle, it is an American Ironhorse Chopper, I will try to post a picture soon.

The wonderful TOM well just got rid of mine so I am good to go for about 3 to 3.5 weeks faithfully.

I made a lasagne bake tonight staying within my points thanks to the portion control. But pizza does sound really good.

Well I suppose I should get my butt going and get up and go for a walk, the weather is great outside right now. So everyone have a great night!

Afternoon everyone! We are having an u-g-l-y day around these parts - 15C and pouring rain. Who invited October to come early? I'm not impressed!

Had a bit of a revelation today about my weight. It took me 4+ years to put this weight ON, so I need to stop expecting it to come off overnight! It was a slow process to gain, so it's going to need to be a slow process to lose and keep it off.

Andi18 - Don't worry to much about your ticker changing - different scales say different things. You weigh what you weigh, all you can change is where you go from here. Good luck with WW at work!

blueyedlvrgirl
- What bummer to go from planning a walk to planning around pizza! Way to go on making it work for you, though.

Jaime - Your lunch sounds delicious! I'm glad I had something yummy too (leftover quesadilla!), or you would have made me hungry!

Enygirl - MOVE IT lady! Heehee. It's totally okay to change your goals to something more achievable. Can you focus on getting out of the gain/lose cycle, instead of getting to the 170s?

One Fluffy Chick
- I don't think your body is betraying you, it's just going through those natural (but annoying! ) fluctuations. Way to get it back in line, all the same.

amouse - Your day at the pool sounds like SO much fun! Look at all the exercise you got, too.

heather1979 - Welcome to the site!

Andi - Pick one scale and stick with it. Going back and forth is going to drive you crazy. Were you able to weigh yourself on your own scale around the same time as WW to see what the difference was?

About Plurk....the newbies here should be very grateful we started posting there. You think this thread moves fast now you should have seen it before we started plurking. 90% of our off topic conversations have moved and it does help to keep some of the focus on the boards. Not that I minded the vampire porn .

DH and I are rearranging the house this weekend. My boy/girl twins will be 4 next month and have been sharing a room since birth. DS is starting to ask for his own space so I am losing my office. It's gonna mean a total rearrange of 2 bedrooms, the office and the living room trying to make everything fit again. I've got LOTS of heavy lifting, cleaning, furniture assembly, etc to do. I'm sure that will be good for a few calories.

That is an awesome revelation! The same thing occurred with me, I did not gain this weight overnight, but over a few years worth of nights. I shouldn't expect it to come off overnight either.

Thankfully my scale at home is not much different than the scale at the meeting. There was a one pound difference in 6 hour time span. I think I can handle that for now

Thankfully the scales are pretty close. I couldn't determine based on time, but I weighed myself at home this morning and at work during the noon lunch hour and didn't have much to eat in between.

Yes, the off-topic convo's in Plurk have definitely lessened the amount of off-topic convo's on these boards. I haven't gotten in on much of the vampire porn conversations yet...

Sorry to hear you are losing your office, but I'm sure the twins will be much happier once they have their own space. Since DS was asking for the space, how does DD feel about this?

Howdy all~
HELP!!! I'm so not motivated to workout! I do one day and then that's it. I have been busy in the mornings and say oh I'll do it tonight, uh huh and when that rolls around I'm to tired. I know if I actually did do the 10 minute rule I'd keep going but I can't even get to the 10 minute rule.
Someone clue me in on the Plurk thing, please. I love my vampires! I just started The Harlequin by Laurell K. Hamilton.
Well I'm off to bed, I think that's my other problem, staying up waaay too late then getting up with dh in the mornings, which is averaging 4-5hrs of sleep. last week I was staying up watching the olympic softball games, which came on at midnight here. Now I'm just staying up. Okay enough of my whining. I'll talk to ya'll tomorrow.
