Well, I am with Rhonda on the 5 lbs heavier (4.8 to be exact). I am back up above 200, so I will have to get back into Onderland, obviously it was such a cool event I wanted to do it twice. I didn't gain this much on my 10 day cruise last year, but then again I worked out a lot harded and more often on the ship as I had access to a gym and got up every morning and worked out. I did manage to get a couple of 4 mile walks in while on vacation and we did spend half the day in NYC walking around before going to Mary Poppins, which my DS loved.

We are back home and my DS is back in school. Had a conference with the teacher who he has this year to make sure we don't have a repeat of last year. I really like this teacher and we are going to be doing some major comprehensive testing on my DS (included academic, social, attention, and other areas). My ped and I both believe that my DS problems stem more from his lack of maturity development that from AD issues, but this should tell us. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for the $1200 worth of testing.

I am back OP and plan to stay that way. Got my runs in on my elliptical yesterday and today. Got to do some lifting yesterday and hoop time in this morning. I feel so much better being able to get my elliptical time in again in the mornings. I am so much more awake, happy and functional having it back, not to mention more motivated to workout

All excited about the new show and the new challenge. I am still pushing to get to 195 before we start. I may not make it with my eating challanged week last week, but I will make sure I get back to where I finished the last challenge, if I have to shave my head bald to get there (just kidding ... maybe)

speaking of the show...when does it start?? i know it starts the same week as our challenge...but which day (monday??) and what time? what channel is normally on? that way i can make sure to DVR it in time so i can make sure to watch it (i've never seen the show)...might be good motivation as well.
thanks.

thanks.

It starts Sunday, September 16 on NBC. Check your local listings for the time in your area.

I am kind of glad it moved to Sundays... Fewer program recording conflicts. I really need a triple tuner DVR. If that doesn't prove I am a TV junkie, I don't know what does. Oh yeah.. Maybe the fact that I killed my last DVR and had to have it replaced.

September 6 is looming larger in my windshield. I have to get on my scale that day, to get my official start weight for the challenge. I am both looking forward to it and dreading it. Once I do it, I think it will get easier each week, thereafter as the challenge runs. I hope so, anyway.

Have a great, OP day, everyone.

thanks...wil have to check times...hope it doesnt interfer with my recording of Army Wives. so far I think thats my only Sunday night DVR show..i think the rest are all during the week. oh no, Deperate Housewives is starting back soon and will be DVR'd....i better double check all the times since I can only record 2 shows at a time...and we cant watch regular tv while 2 record. we have to either watch something previously DVR'd or one of the shows that is being recorded at that time....sucks. i want a triple DVR too darn cable company....i've been thru 3 DVRs so far...so i understand your feelings RainDancer.

Show start Date is 16 Sept which is a Tuesday, on NBC, which in my area I think is channel 4, but will be different for other.

The reason my WI day is Wednesday is that when the show is on, I do my 2 hour last change workout on Tuesday night with the show. I get in my 60 minutes on the elliptical and then either 60 minutes on the bike, or 30 minutes on the hoop and 30 minutes on the mini-trampoline. I figure since they are getting their butts kicked, I would be getting mine kicked instead of widening it on the couch.

Rhonda you just amaze me with your refusal to quit. You always pull yourself up and get going again, and I really respect that. This is going to be our challenge, we're going to do it right?

krjpy--you aren't alone, a lot of us here workout during the show, all sweating together. I have been watching reruns on Style channel. This week is one I never saw before, one of the short specials with restaraunt families. They play the first one and then the final show and it is so nice, get to see the start and results in 2 hours. I DVR it and gives me about an hour and a half workout if I skip commercials

I've been enjoying having my morning hours alone again, but haven't been able to walk on the track because it rained all day yesterday and today. Supposed to rain again tomorrow, then on Friday start up again. Sucks, but my roses have started blooming again so that has been nice at least. My daughter's cheerleading and gymnastics schedule has been insane because her teacher had to cancel a week of classes and we are now making them up...and next week the footballs games start and they add another day of cheer practice into the mix, and she has homework every night starting next week she is so excited about all this, but I am really dragging. I like routines and consistency, the changing schedules drive me insane

Okay, enough whining. It will be even worse next year because my son wants to play football, so I just keep telling myself I can suffer through for them..one day they'll be old enough to drive themselves around.

Add me to the list who could use a triple dvr!!!! We have already replaced our dvr once (although I'm not convinced it wasn't defective...it only lasted a couple months).

Armywife--I just got hooked on Army Wives this season! I really like it.

I've had the most stressful evening ever, everything just piling up at once until I was about to hide in the garage and cry. Doesn't help that it's been raining nonstop for two days now and it makes me feel depressed....this is the kind of night I would normally put the kids to bed and eat everything in the house, but I am determined NOT to do that. I am going to put on my PJs and watch Big Brother and Nancy Grace and read a book and just be lazy until I fall asleep. Instead of binging I'll allow myself to just relax because the stress continues tomorrow, there is just too much going wrong right now

I am glad to hear some of you are having a good day today...I hope we all have one tomorrow.
