Well I’m slightly impressed with myself. Even though I didn’t have calorie counts for anything Monday – Wednesday I managed to lose 1.4lbs while I was gone. I just ate tons of fruits and veggies and only splurged a bit at dinner. Back on the plan ladies – feels good too. Why do I forget the good feeling from time to time?
Dora – you’re on! We’ll both be under 200 soon!
Kim – I think I commented on plurk but girl you’re awesome!!
Tara – Hope you’re feeling better. 30lbs is a huge number! Good job!
Marianne – Congrats – it’s so awesome to not be so strict and maintain!
Julia – wtg on your loss! You’re well on your way!
Monte – congrats! And I 2nd the hurray for veggies
Tawny – ugh you poor thing. Fans?
Mh5 – woo hoo. The next half will happen b4 you know it!
Purplefirefly – welcome back!
Manick – you’ll be fine, you’re back on plan and that’s the important thing.
Lisa – welcome to the challenge, I’ve found everyone very supportive and helpful.
Jessica – omg you’re looking awesome in your pic!
Amy – glad to see you, you’ll get back on it soon. Glad you’re still using the elliptical?
Heather – welcome!
Sonja – water retention, nothing to worry about. Good for you for trying a new class.
Everyone else – love ya mean it but that’s all I have time for now! Oh and man do I use too many exclamation points!!
Tara - i'm also excited about other Michiganders floating about! Maybe we should have a Michigander luncheon! How close to Detroit are you? I'm about an hour north (in Grand Blanc)
I'm way out of your range unless you all want to come up to see the Mackinaw Bridge. Grayling and Mio area is about as far south as I get.
Breakfast on track this morning. Peanut butter toast and an apple. Yummmy. I've started cleaning out in the office. WTH am I going to do with all this stuff????
I;ve looked around on some of yall's pages and tried to add friend request a few from here that i know. this might be fun...and i can see where it can become addicting lol
Good morning everyone!
Well, tomorrow is Friday! YAY! I have class tonight, so I usually don't workout, but I got up extra early to get to work at a time that will allow me to leave early enough to squeeze in a quick workout before I have class stuff. YAY! I get to get to the gym. I hope everyone is doing well. I better get back to work! TTYL...

For now I am staying off the scale...during TOM I can see HUGE temporary gains, so I don't want to add unneeded stress. Yes, I just got my DL on Monday! I can finally be a big girl and drive myself to work! LOL Motrins don't cut it, but they help till I get to work, once I get here I take a darvocet and by the time it is time to leave I am ok to drive. I just take another Motrin to get me through till I get home. It is working for now.
My appetite has been very strange this week. I'm not hungry much during the middle of the day (I've only eaten 1/4 to 1/2 of my lunch each day), but then I'm ravenous when I get home from work. What the heck?
zinke - are there any charities in your area that will pick up donations? We do this when we declutter - usually they'll take clothes and furniture.
Eny - How about replacing your soda with water? That'll help with two goals in one move!
Rhonda - Good luck at the dentist! I'm embarrassed about how long it's been since I went! The world will not stop turning if you don't look at the scale this week - you're doing great self-care just by getting to the dentist and planning on going to the gym. The numbers can wait a week, if you need them to.
Dora - Have a ton of fun at CCR! Enjoy the coast, and good luck with the buffet!
ArmyWife02 - Girl, sounds like life is throwing everything it can at you! You are allowed some MIA time!
Cat - See if you can work on your sleeping, and I bet you'll feel more motivated to work out. 4-5hours of sleep would have me in total zombie mode! Can you start getting to bed a little earlier? I know how tempting the Olympics are, but you can always watch the highlights the next day!
Blueyed - I *do* have exciting weekend plans for once! My mum is coming to visit Sat/Sun, so we'll be doing some touristy things, and maybe going wedding dress shopping. I'm really looking forward to it.
So I lost track of my food journal last week, Friday. Too much free food, too much eating that didn't take place at home or at my desk and too much going on to be too mindful.
Free food continues to haunt me and taunt me. I ate two bison burgers for lunch today, along with a caesar salad and a can of coke. I haven't run this week yet and it's not going to happen today. I will make a point of it tomorrow, though.
Eny - How about replacing your soda with water? That'll help with two goals in one move!
I try that - but really I crave soda in the morning. Today's been MUCH better! I just have to stick to it!
It takes 21 days to create a habit (right Dora?) So for the next 20 days I'm going to REALLY work on this one! I've gotten the calorie intake under control - I stay between 1200 - 1500 a day with no problem now. so for the next 21 days I'm going to work on water and exercise! I'm gearing up to do level 2 of the 30 Day shred right now! and I'm enjoying my 4th glass of water (16 oz glass) and I'll have a 5th after my workout!
I Have to do this! I have newly found motivation - since DBF and I have been talking weddings a TON the last few weeks. i'm sure THE question is going to be asked soon! And knowing him, he's going to want to do it like - now.. but I REALLY want to be a HECk of a lot closer to goal by then!
I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I am not going to participate in the next challenge after all. I wish you all the luck in the world, and I KNOW you can do it!!
I have to say I am a rooting for the blue team though, but wish for loses for everyone!

tee--a huge for recommending The Writing Diet. I bought it a month ago and it has made such a HUGE difference for me. I am only about halfway through because I always end up closing it to journal after a page or two, so it's slow going but really is helping me so much. I am doing morning pages every morning and love it! Thanks!
Rhonda--how'd the dentist go? Are you shiny and squeaky clean now?
to everyone else. I'll check in in the morning if I can get on here...it's been so busy I can't get it to load school starts Monday and I'll be back to checking in and walking the track...yay! can't wait! It's been a really long, strange, hard hard summer and I am glad for fall to bring a new season for us...never thought I'd wish away summer!

what is the Writing Diet? may have to Google that....never heard of it before...
I know what you mean about a long summer and we're ready to have our routines back with school starting for DD next week (we met her teacher tonight)...i seem to do much better with healthy things and fitness when school is going on...maybe it's only having one kid at home instead of both of them..?! lol
Josephine, I made your Bean Salad today...It's sitting in the fridge right now...and I wish I was at home so I can taste to see how it's going to be like. I surely will taste it before going to sleep when I get off work today... It looks so yummy and by then, it will be about 12 hours that it sat there! yeah!
