Cheree, thanks, the dog is getting better, she's heavily medicated for the next 2 weeks, muscle relaxants and pain med. They've already x-rayed her and cannot find anything that will show up on the x-ray so the vet hopes that by keeping her "down" and quiet she will have a chance to heal whatever is causing the muscle spasms. It is hard to see her so mopey and sad. It makes DH sad too
Good goals for yourself! I plan on eating healthy and exercising for the rest of my life too! I've tried it both ways, and its the ONLY way now.
Julz that is such a sweet goal
it sounds do-able, you are working very hard, I hope you are rewarded!!
Thanks
CeeGee for the dog health wishes...on the dog (see above
) and I was thinking about the sign ups too having heard the fall out after many of us listed blue...I have left mine ambiguous so that someone else can choose the best team for me based on where my weight is needed so to speak
Either way I look forward to seeing my Black team chicks continue to succeed with our goals! We may not have been the chattiest, but we worked HARD this challenge!
And by the way...size 8 is great! You'll be there...just keep working! But celebrate where you are now too, enjoy today along the way!
Swim I know you will make your goals! You've been so dedicated and determined, I've enjoyed reading your fitness reports! Best wishes to you in the next challenge!
Tara I agree with you totally, I have fought and sweated and planned healthy meals for EVERY .2 lbs that have come off this body and I know you have too! If you don't work for it HOW can you know how to maintain it.
Theresia...GOOD JOB! If you keep up the work you should have no problem!
As for me, its been a pretty good day!
I woke up and saw this:
which made me happy! If I can get it down 2 more by Monday I'd be thrilled...but I will take what I can get! I'm going to really give it my all every day this week!
I realize that my personal challenge is making it thru TOM without gaining. I have been keeping a daily chart of weight, exercise, calories eaten and calories burned for the last 3 months just to see if I can identify patterns. Almost without fail I go up 2-3 lbs around TOM and then I have to work for another 2 weeks to get those pounds BACK off before I go down a couple more lbs and then I am there for a week or so and TOM rolls around again.
It is SO frustrating! I don't remember it being this hard when I was in my early 30's. So...I work and I sweat. If I can figure this out for myself I will continue to make steady progress, even if it IS slow. My only thoughts so far are to really plan every meal during those days and make sure I get extra water. All I can do for now is keep trying!
