I hear ya lady!! I keep snacks on hand at all times. This is sometimes a willpower test but most of the time it just keeps me from oinking out at my regular meals.

What is a bouncy house sounds fun lol.

I am just glad you are finally feeling better. Of course you are tired. Being sick takes a lot out of a person. Hope the weigh in goes well but don't worry about it. You can get things back on track now and your future weigh ins will be great.

Hi all, you have been chatty since I was here last. Been busy with work, and church activities. I'm OP this week and actually think that I will earn my badge in the challenge I'm hoping that the scale cooperates by rewarding my efforts.

I'm really liking my fitness ball workout. After working out twice a day, 5 days a week for the last 10 months, I didn't think it was possible to work any muscles that I hadn't already tightened and toned. I was wrong. I definitely am feeling sore, which is actually a good thing

Hope you are all having a great week. Let's stay strong going into the weekend!

LOL - that is EXACTLY what I think every time I look at your ticker
You have overcome some incredible obstacles and are doing just GREAT

Good luck with the Dr. Appt. tomorrow. And remember, no matter WHAT the scale says - you have lost AT LEAST 56 lbs. and given your consistent predictability, I'm betting you have lost 58 lbs!!!! That is the equivalent of 10,026 pennies. (seen here)

So every one of those M& Ms you didn't eat, and every Mt. Dew you didn't drink and every step you took with Leslie added up over the last year

I bought a new scale in the middle of my first BL contest. It weighed me at 5 lbs. higher. I kept my ticker at my "old scale" weight (new scale - 5 lbs.) until the contest was over. AND - when I did change my ticker, I also adjusted my start weight to reflect the change.

I bought a new scale right before the challenge and it was right on with the docs scale. It stopped working not to long ago. I know up until 145 the scales were the same lol.

army
That is a great idea if you want a scale in the house. I found I wanted to get on it to much. I am much better off with the every two week weigh in at the docs office. Hubby said if I got on it again he was going to toss it out the window. Have to wonder if that wasn't why it stopped working lol he did something to it.

Red face

hey everyone!
glad to see so much activity here red team!!
Im having a scale dilemma.....the one here says Im 211, Curves one says im 214.5, and my moms says im 209.......
only thing is, i weighed 214 on the curves one 2 weeks ago, and i KNOW I have lost weight!(i also checked another dr.s type scale and it says 211) oh well..... guess Ill just stick with the one here for now....
stayed pretty O.P today....cant believe i have done so many days in a row of exercise!! i should easily make my goal this summer, since as soon as we move back home, Ill be working in my giant garden(oh the weeds... ) building a greenhouse, hauling the gas for our generator, and hauling those blue bottles of water until hubby gets the water hooked up! Yikes! Who needs the gym? Am really looking forward to getting home though, we might get some chickens this year! (we tried pigs, but ooooohhh do they stink, and attract the bears something fierce...) SO yah, someone quoted Foxworthy, about the muddy vehicle....LOL thats us!!! ( but we wear sunscreen, so no rednecks here )
I could wash that truck everyday, and it would still be filthy!
Iam giving myself a challenge, to finish my cross-stitch project by the middle of june..lol...its a birth announcement thingy for my sister...her baby is 4 months old already!
So hello to everyone...sorry im too tired to do personals...baby had his shots today, 4 yr old had specialist appt (for his snoring!) and then i helped mom move some more, AND had a ladies meeting this pm......and i still got my walk in! Woot!
Have a good sleep, and lets rock the weigh in this week!!

Hi ladies! We had some terrible weather where I live. My father was coming home from work around midnight and saw this huge foggy funnel. It scared us all because there were reports of tornadoes. My dog started shaking when it was hailing. We all thought the roof was going to collapse. Everything is all right though, but I tend to become a worry wart when the weather is bad.

I know how you feel. My sister moved into a condo on the 3rd floor with no elevator. It felt like the most extreme workout ever.

Morning Teammies!!
Just popping in real quick while I can. Yesterday was an off day, got up at 3 a.m. to get Cam, my 12yr old, up to the school,6th gd class trip, they left for Toronto. They'll be back tonight around midnight. But I stayed up yesterday til about 9a.m. and crashed most of the day. And I didn't get in a workout. But I'm rested and ready to go today and after Lane goes to school I'm heading downstairs to workout. I will catch up with the boards later today.
Hope everyone is doing well and have a fantastic Friday!!!

I would say go by the same scale all the time. Pick the one you like the best and that is the one to use. There are a great many ways to get exercise lol. I don't count house work and such because I was doing all that before I started to lose weight so it is nothing new. Hauling water around is another story. That uses muscle. You are really getting a workout with all you are doing. We have pig farmers around here thankfully no bears lol.

Cathy
Sometimes a nice rest is what the body needs and it is just as valuable as exercise.

Hi y'all!

wkgirl: Shy is right--stick with one scale. Also, stick with weighing the same time of day in the same manner of dress (or undress). With me it is first AM, post-potty, pre-shower! Sometimes I will weigh at a different time of day, just to see how much water weight I can put on in a day.

Today I am contemplating joining a gym close to my office. I would only use it during the work week, since I live 25 miles the opposite way. I also have a treadmill and excercise ball at home. I would mostly be using this gym for during my lunchbreak and maybe after work for a bit. Still, I'm not sure I want to put out the money for it. I think I still need to think about it. Maybe I should come up with some free ways to work out at lunch instead.
