Well, 0430 rolled around this morning and I actually pulled myself out of my bed and went to the gym and did 40 minutes of circuit training - go me.

Sadly, unlike our luckylady Diva, I don't get any eye candy. I don't think eye candy gets up until after 7am in AZ! I did work out about a week ago behind a serious eye candy-licious man. Yummmmm. My entire work out sped by - until he left. I wanted to ask him to stay so that my workout would go by quick and easy! I also find I workout HARDER when there is something tasty to look at!

So I did the gym and then I went to the dog park - and walked around in laps for another 60 minutes. I usually just sit on the wall and watch the dogs play but I was the first one there so I had to entertain myself and the dogs. Makes my total exercise 100 minutes so far today!

LOL! That made me chuckle! I work out harder too when the eye candy is there. I swear, that one muscle dude is SO FINE! I find myself totally fantasizing about this guy. Especially when he gets going and his skin gets flushed and he starts sweating...OMG! I wanna just run my fingers across all them gorgeous muscles. Sadly, he barely knows I'm alive but that's okay, hehe. Congrtaz to you & Joyce for getting up so early to workout. Y'all are better women than me, I struggle with 6:45am.

Also WTG everyone on doing the personals, I LOVE when that happens. Sorry I am not so good with it. I'll have to work on it.

Gotta go post the exercise!

Diva – I did Gary’s last 5K too – it really got me going with my exercise.

Joyce – My oldest did flag football when he was 6 – he loved it but was afraid to move up to tackle – didn’t want to get hit!! He’s a sensitive soul, but my goodness, they would have loved him – he’s a big kid – right now he’s 8 years old and 5 feet tall!! And you did a great job catching up – I’m impressed.

Armywife – Is he smoking in the house? If so, kick his butt outside, that’s just teasing!!! Good luck!

Kelly and Diva – that’s not fair – I have to work out in the dining room and last night the only thing on was COPS – not exactly eye candy material!!

Nicholas and I took a walk and washed the car -- I've got so much more energy lately, it's amazing to me!! I swear I'm the one who made my oldest a coach potato/lazy kid since I had no energy back then!!

Bjeweled- nothing wrong with the occasional treat...it’s good you worked it off though

Montecristo- I have the denise austin total body blast...good dvd...I don’t have any of the others but would love the Jillian Michaels one...I love her

Armywife- you’re making me tired with all that exercise

Shy moment- I’d probably smack her if she was my dr...lol.

Kellybones- great job getting up early...yea...I’d like some eye candy while I exercised too...I don’t get that lucky though At least ya had him for a bit.

Shelby- my son is a big boy too...not too tall but built very tough and he’s just a little sensitive too so it’s going to be interesting to see how that goes.

Hi Girls. Wow I'm drained today! I'm supposed to bike but I think I'm taking an extra rest day (although I might end up walking some)

I've already nearly used up today's calories unless I walk... and it's only about 2pm. Eek!

Good afternoon mateys! How is everyone this fine wednesday? My dd is still struggling with the stomach bug, but she is appearing to be feeling much better and will probably be ready to go back to school tomorrow! I had my yearly exam this morning with the obgyn, all went well there and I got a prescription for chantix to quit smoking. I am glad that I have done things in the order I have done as far as starting to eat regularly and exercising, now I am ready to quit smoking, I just need the extra help. My dh smokes and he is ready to quit too and will talk to his dr. about the chantix next week when he goes in for his check-up. I feel so good exercising and the only thing holding me back from progressing further is the smoking. SOO, I am very ready to kick this bad bad habit once and for all!
Can anyone tell me what the badges are for? I searched and I can't find the thread that explains their purpose!
Well, with TOM right around the corner I have been struggling with wanting to munch munch munch, but I am focused today. I am feeling bloated so I am going to get my exercise groove on!
Everyone have a great day!

An FYI for any Jillian fans living in/near Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

She'll be doing a book signing at Barnes & Noble June 7th! She'll be with the author of "SuperFoods", Dr. Pratt. This is part of the eDiets Live......

Good morning ladies! Well things have been crazy around here. Little man is sick. thought he had an ear infection, but no, he has pink eye, and a terrible sore throat and an awful cough and congested.... not to mention a fever. I have been struggling with my eating and journaling. I really need a swift kick in rear lately! I know I need to make time for myself and do this for me. Sorry for whining....

Michelle was saying that she sees people reading on the Treadmill all the time. I just don't get that. There's NO way I could read while on the TM. My arms are swinging too much and I am busy concentrating on my stride, breathing, and time. Not to mention the eye candy!

ArmyWife, phew! I'm tired just reading about all your exercise! lol You really do put me to shame over here! It will definitely reflect on your weigh ins though, so good for you!!!

Monte, enjoy your new dvd's. I love new ones, makes it so fresh and exciting! I think I am going to go ahead and get the Jillian Michaels one now instead of waiting to get it as a reward. I figure if I'm itching to do it now, why wait and punish myself. LOL

Shelby/Joyce, my son, alas is a little lean guy. He's about 5'5" and weighs about 118 soaking wet. He's very lean and has developed alot of muscle tone thru his weight training class. He is also very sensitive. Out of curiousity, are these your first borns?? He is my first.

Stephanie, best of luck with quitting smoking! (Armywife, you too chicky!). I know you will do great, you sound really excited to begin this next chapter in your new life! DH will do great too, I just know it!

Muse, Mel, Vanetta, Hope your day is going fantastic!

Diva, hope the gym was great! Nothing like the proverbial "carrot in front of the rabbit" theory to get you to exercise, eh? I had a good chuckle at the thought of you just going and going on that TM as he stands in front of you. LOL

Kelly, yeah, have to agree, no eye candy in AZ before 7am. LOL I dunno about you, but I began to notice the other day just how ugly some of the people wandering around here really are! LOL When we first moved here awhile back I was in awe at how 'beautiful' people were here with all the sun, etc. Now,......not so much!

Well, I've decided that I cannot be trusted in going to the grocery store alone! I am too tempted to buy crap. Ugh, just not a pretty sight and I know that I need to get myself out of this funk I'm in. I'm in a friggin weight loss challenge for cryin' out loud! LOL I'm always saying, if I lopped off my head I think I could do this thing all the way through. My dang head gets in the way every time!

I could only read on the TM if I was walking, not running. I'd totally end up with black eyes if I tried that! I can however read while on the recumbent bike so that's nice.

Though really... I prefer to watch TV while using a gym machine. I guess it's more mindless?
