OK....I am back....

The fajitas are indeed healthy....and a little 97% fat free tortilla, some Trader Joe's no salt tortilla chips, a little salsa and viola, lunch for < 275 cals.

How boring a life I have.....no kids, I don't smoke, no exams to cram for, and the guys at my gym are more interested in preening for the guys at my gym.

The 92 year old relative is still kickin' it...she was moved to hospice, but they are telling us she can't stay because her condition isn't "emanate". She's 92 and has advanced lung cancer....what qualifies as "emanate" in Florida?

I will get back to doing personals...but right now I am just kind of focused on staying focused. I'm staying within my calories, and making an effort to exercise.

Keep fighting the good fight ladies....I'm still in the game, and I anticipate things will work themselves out (emanate or not) eventually.

Hello Ladies! I've been incredibly swamped at work the past few days and haven't had a chance to even read. I think I'm finally caught up. I was so engrossed in a project, I missed a mandatory meeting this afternoon. They are repeating it tomorrow so hopefully I will make it to that one. I forgot my lunch today and had to eat at the cafeteria. I did so-so, and spurged on some unhealthy extras. Oh well......dinner is a new meal. Everyone have a great day!

I'm right there with ya - except that I don't go to the gym. If I did, my luck is such that I'd have the same scenario at mine!

I can't read on the treadmill but I do on the elliptical, bikes and stair climber. I find I actually work out harder because I'm not paying so much attention to it. I guess it's weird but because I'm not paying attention to how hard I'm working I don't think gosh I'm working hard lets take it down a notch. Eye candy - I wish at my gym!!

stephanie: here ya go!

(from beachy exercise challenge thread)
Your job is to make one post that you'll edit for that entire week (otherwise the team leaders will have to merge all your separate posts) and post your exercise for that week. For every minute you exercise it will count as a mile towards the flight time.

In the beginning the flights will be short to give everyone a chance to get into the routine of exercising, but as the challenge moves forward, the flights get longer!

If you exercise all of the miles of the flight to the beach, you get a little badge which looks like this (in your team color!) in a separate thread. (I'll be adding the badges to your post during and at the end of the week.) Your mission is to collect 15 badges to compete for the grand prize!
Whichever team has the majority percentage of people with 15 badges wins the grand prize!

The grand prize is a 2 lb pass for the final weigh in! The pass is 2 lbs off the entire team's weight as a whole (not individual!) In the event of a tie, I'm going to ask one of the 3FC's (Suzanne or Jennifer) to pull a team from a hat.

Because I know it will be asked, I'll clarify: If members from your team end up leaving the TBL challenge, we will take in account all of the people that are still participating at the end of the 15th week.

If you exercise for more than the flight miles, it does not count towards extra badges, however your team leader may have some extra incentives to get you moving past the flight mileage listed for the week.

Good evening ladies~ Today was my day off from watching the baby, and I loved every minute of it I went shopping and got all my Mother's Day stuff bought. It was just so nice to run in and out of stores by myself. I still have to exercise today. I never got to do anything yesterday, and I'm feeling like a slug for it. Tonight after my meeting I'm going to do weights and hopefully a little cardio...not promising cardio though. I can't seem to bring myself to the gym, and I'm not sure why. I think with watching the baby I'm just pooped by the end of the day, and the gym is the last thing on my mind. My Vegas trip is coming up though in a little under a month, so I need to get serious. I hope your all having a great week so far

Mandey, WOW!! Looks like you will be totally set with everything you will need for a complete work out! I was thinking of checking out ebay for the WATP, see if I can get it at a better price than the website sells it for. How's the quitting smoking going for you? I have set a quit date of May 19th.
Tina, sounds like you had a great day! Don't be so hard on yourself for not making it to the gym, you can get exercise without being at the gym, and when your not so wiped out and have more energy, you'll get the momentum back up!
I am in the middle of making dinner. I found a recipe for Asian Salmon, which is baked in a sauce of olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, onion, pepper, sesame oil... It smells so yummy! Served over wild rice! YUM!
Have a good evening all!

I hurt my back...which has led to no exercise... which has led to comfort eating which has led to bloat city.... Need to get that together, cause my numbers are bad, bad, bad

But on a funny note, no eye candy at my gym. I swear, my treadmill is in DH's taxidermy shop, yes, I live in redneck heaven. The only thing to look at out there is critters and him if he's working. He's supposed to move the treadmill for me this summer and put in a TV shelf. We'll see....

Sugar-n-Spice -- I definitely do not go to the grocery store alone! I always take my husband and I am not allowed to add stuff to the cart while standing in the checkout line and neither is he. Plus, with him there (Mr. I hate to shop and I tend to get fussy about it when I have to be there very long), I tend to get in, do my list shopping and get out as fast as possible!

Also, I've noticed that there are indeed lots of ugly people here - but no more than anyplace else I've lived. What I do notice are many people who have no fear at all to wear clothing that even if I were 18 and weight 92lbs I would not wear - not because of size but because of shortness, tightness or generalized junk hang-out-age...

I am the one that hates to shop. Hubby couldn't careless how long it takes lol. He says that is time he spends with me. Telling you there is more mutton dressed up like lamb out there than I want to see lol.

Mavis
Now just because you can't exercise doesn't mean you have to eat all the yummys lol. Hope you feel better soon. The only eye candy I get to see is Jim on a few of my walking/aerobic videos lol.

sheywood
Look on amazon you can find new and used ones there. I have gotten a few of Leslie's for about 5 bucks each. Oh that sounds real good can I have the recipe please?

Army
Everyone thinks I am nuts that when he wants to get me something I get exercise things. Videos, dumbbells things like that. Hey, it is something I will use everyday. It isn't like he makes me get these things. They are things I want

Vanetta
Here in Ohio emanate means with a few weeks I think. I have nothing going on either. My kids are 21 and 17, they pretty much take care of them selfs. I am just needed to give them a kick in the bum once in awhile to make them do things they should be doing on their own but aren't lol. I have volunteered myself to death I think. I still do a few things but after 30 years of volunteering for this and that I just want to stay home and read a book lol.

Heather
I do most of my working out here in the den. I watch movies and tv shows using one player and do my workout videos using another player, on the computer of course. Seems to make the workouts go faster that way.

danielle
Before you go to check out take time to go thru the cart. You don't need that or that or that and while you may WANT that, you DON'T need it lol. Toss all that stuff out. You will be happy it isn't in the house and you will have more money left in the bank lol.

Kari
My gosh you have your hands full. It is tuff when our little ones ( no matter their age, my 21 year old is still my little boy ) are not feeling well. Do what you can and you will be ok.

joy
My husband is very encouraging. My kids even help sometimes ( Oh ya my son, darn mom you aren't as fat as you use to be, I know there is a compliment in there somewhere so I take it as it is meant lol ). My doctor has never been encouraging. She is better now than she was since I told her off but she still doesn't get it. We need our doctor to be there for us and to tell us we are doing great things for our body's. Not just act like find if you do fine if you don't.

Oops, sneaking in to say DIVA...I read that you were keeping up with the treadmill 5K's and your asthma is better as a result! That is fantastic news! As a fellow asthma sufferer (which gets better when I exercise regularly too) I just wanted to say kudos and keep up the good work! I'll look for you in the Memorial Day 5K...

And to all you other Red's....look out behind you, Black is on your tail....

I had a good day today. I went to Walmart before and bought Biggest Loser Super Body Sculpt with Jillian. I'm really looking forward to me workout tomorrow. I needed something different because some of the workouts on the first biggest loser dvd were getting to easy for me. How was everyone's day today?

Jen415~ CONGRATS on your weight loss! Thats great!

Joyce~ I wanted to try and get up early to exercise. It would be so much easier to get up before anyone else, do my workout, and then take a shower. It would be behind me and I could go about my day without having to make sure I fit a workout into my schedule. The problem is is that I say I'll do it and I set my alarm but I can't get myself out of bed

bjeweled~ I too am going away. I'm leaving probably Saturday and coming home Monday night. I'm worried about all of the food temptations that are going to surround me. I'm going to make sure I pack alot of healthy stuff and my measuring spoons.

Mandey~ Thats awesome that you made the choice to stop smoking. I stopped a few years ago and I feel so much better!

kellybones~ 4:30am?!!!!! I could never ! Good for you though!

shelby897~ I feel so much more energized to. It's amazing what a little exercise can do. That in itself is motivation to keep doing it!

sheywood4~ I hope your daughter feels better and I'm glad everything came back okay from the obgyn! That can be scarey!

skinnyvibes~ I hope your son feels better soon! You should try and take a few minutes to yourself so you can refocus and get your thoughts together. Even if it's just a 10 minute walk around the block. It might help.

Diva~ My older sister say's she reads while she's working out. I have no clue how she does it but I could never.

Danielle~ Believe it or not going to the grocery store gets easier. It did for me anyway. I used to dread it because of all the yummy food but now it doesnt really phase me.

Vanetta~ I'm so sorry to hear about your 92 year old relative! I can't believe their telling you she can't stay because shes not emanate. Some people just have to make things harder. I hope things get better!

mothermavis~ I know how that feels. I hurt my back last week while I was exercising. I hope it gets better!

Well American Idol is on now. Gotta run! I'll hop back on later! Enjoy your night everyone
