Good morning all! Hope everyone's day has started off great! Mine on the other hand has been chaotic! dd#3 was up sick allllll night long! I am so tired! Well on the positive side, she is the 3rd of the 4 girls to get sick, it is only a 24 hour stomach bug, so we are on the down hill side of all this!
I can't wait to see our first week results!
I feel I probably could have done better, but a 2 lb loss this far in the game for me I feel I shouldn't be too disappointed.
I am right there with ya Tina, my head is spinning from all the threads too! 1/2 the time I can't remember where to post what and when! I am trying to keep up tho!
I have to get back to my dd. I hope everyone has a great day!

Cathy, We are north of Ft. Worth in Keller. Not sure if you know where that is, but we are Just west of Grapevine. I really love living here, just not the biggest fan of the summer heat! Your Taco salad sounds really good! I opted out of fixing a mexican fiesta last night. Didn't feel like going to the store and ended up making what I had on hand. Have a good day!

Good Morning everyone!
Hope all is going well. I have been dealing with a very sick little boy the past few days so I haven't had much time to read or post. Was able to get exercise in so that was good. My son was goofing around last week with a friend and got hit in the mouth. Unfortunately this was the same tooth he broke and had to have a crown put on about 9 months ago. We looked at it after he got hit and everything seemed ok. It wasn't hurting him at the time. It just "felt funny." Friday night he woke us up crying that his tooth hurt. He is 10 years old so if he is crying there is something seriously wrong. Well there are no dentists around here open on Saturday so he was in pain all weekend. Got him in yesterday and it was a really bad infection. Poor thing has to have a root canal tomorrow. So hopefully everything goes ok.

As for me, I need to be better about staying OP. When I get stressed, I eat and this time was no different. However I did still exercise so at least that was one positive.

Any other stress eaters out there? Or does anyone have any tips for how to deal with it?

I hope everyone is having a good week!

Good Late Morning !

I'm having a really bad two days! TOM was supposed to be due on Monday...Didn't come so now I'm in a PANICK! I'm late! So now I'm thinking If I get TOM late (and I really pray that I do..better late then never!) then why did I gain .6lb??!! I counted calories, I'm drinking water, and I'm exercising! I just don't know. I was so tired yesterday. I did my workout but I snacked to much, and I went to the Dinner for dinner. I really didn't want to but we went to the store and by the time we got out of the store it was like 8:30 and I didn't want to go home and cook. I was so hungry and so tired that I just gave in and went to the diner and had bad food. Not too bad..but not good! I started drinking my water early this morning because I'm bloated from the salt in my dinner last night. I'm really disappointed in myself. I have to go to my daughters spring concert tonight. She sings in chorus. I planned it so that we eat dinner before we go. I want that darn scale to start moving so for the rest of this week I'm going to watch my calorie and salt intake very closely and im going to drink so much water that im going to float away . I can't do it tonight but for tomorrow and the remainder of the week I'm going to do a 30 minute walk after dinner with my dog to burn the extra calories that I took in yesterday. Oh and I'm also dealing with my 11 year old Daughter's attitude . I call this the wonderful TWEEN years . She is such a great kid she does really good in school, she even made honor roll, but she has some attitude! Of course she had this attitude episode at 7:00 this morning. What a wonderful thing to wake up too! Ughhhhhhhhhhhh...what a day! I have to go now. My two year old daughter is screaming her head off right now! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry your little one is sick! I hope he gets to feeling better soon! Both mine went through it last week, I'm hoping thats if for the season! I tend to stress eat too and I haven't figured out how to turn that one around yet. I've still got this mindset that everything else might be in the crapper but at least I can eat good, and feed the family. Not sure why I get like that but it leads to my overeating when stressed.

Good Morning Red Team!

I started off my morning today with an hour of exercise. Yay!

Yesterday went well. DH survived playing "mom" and I wrote a chapter on my book/thesis. I planning to write more today, but DH is still in bed. I hope he's up to being "mom" again today.

Keep up the good work ladies!

Good afternoon everyone. I hope you're all doing great.

ThisTime - I have to say that after reading your post I begin to rethink my wish for a daughter. I have two sons, and I've not had to deal with much attitude. (other things of course, but no 'tude... yet.) I hope that stage doesn't last long.

Team, awesome job on our team results for last week! Keep up the great work.

I do have to say that I went off plan yesterday, going over my calorie limit, and not doing any exercise. But, I'm back today and will not beat myself up or quit over yesterday.
