    Woo Hooo Go Dandk0204!!!
  • Happy Tuesday Ladies!!!

Congrat's to our team this week, we came oh so close to winning!!! I am proud of everyone who stuck to it and went for it!

ThisTime, you and me both dealing with 11y/o girls...... It's been just the last couple months that have been extremely frustrating with her. It's like she woke up one day and decided that this is her time to let me have it! lol She is the baby too which adds alot of feeling justified and spoiled. My son, who's the oldest has been the easiest kid on the planet! I think girls are just hard period!

JenJen, sorry to hear about DS! Ugh, I HATE the dentist with a passion. I hope he is feeling better very soon!!! When stuff like this happens I am certainly one to eat also. I think it boils down to just buckling down and being aware of ourselves when this stuff happens and sticking it out. We are worth it!!!

Stephanie, congrat's on your 2 lbs! That is a great loss for sure! I'm sorry DD is sick!!! Hope she feels better really soon.

  • Quote: Good Morning Red Team!

I started off my morning today with an hour of exercise. Yay!

Yesterday went well. DH survived playing "mom" and I wrote a chapter on my book/thesis. I planning to write more today, but DH is still in bed. I hope he's up to being "mom" again today.

Keep up the good work ladies!
Jen, I'm so happy you got some time to spend on your studies! And kudos to DH for taking over the "mom duties" for you, what wonderful support he is!

Quote: Good afternoon everyone. I hope you're all doing great.

ThisTime - I have to say that after reading your post I begin to rethink my wish for a daughter. I have two sons, and I've not had to deal with much attitude. (other things of course, but no 'tude... yet.) I hope that stage doesn't last long.

Team, awesome job on our team results for last week! Keep up the great work.

I do have to say that I went off plan yesterday, going over my calorie limit, and not doing any exercise. But, I'm back today and will not beat myself up or quit over yesterday.
I just think girls are hard! My son is so easy going and my 2 girls really give me a run for my money! Oh well, so you had one off day, today is a new day and I know you will do well!!
  • jen415-Way to go! I bet it feels great to be close to your goal!
Tina_ Dont worry about the personals!! And Ive added this one (thread)to my subscribed threads list, then it seems pretty easy to find... And Happy anniversary!! We're on 7 years too! Woot!
Rennie-Awesome! 2 inches off your waist! that is great!
Gaia- Hope you are having a better day! I suffer from depression sometimes too- for me I had to just say "No....Im not giving in to you today!"...try and do something nice for yourself girly!!
Kerry:You can do it girl! Stay on the wagon!! Ive struggled with my weight for 10 years now....I had lost 50 lbs before just taking it one day at a time, and playing lots of sports(doesnt even feel like exercise when Im playing!)...
then came having babies, and lots of stress, and it has caused me to put on that 50 plus a lot more! I guess this time around, I dont have the option to play sports 6 nights a week, so I am trying to get in exercise wherever and whenever I can, and try to make healthy food choices, and drink lots of water....its working!! I do have quite a few "bad days" but the difference is, I keep trying, rather than give up and do nothing.......so keep trying!! A few days Off Plan wont hurt ya, but staying off will! Keep trying!!
Shelby:Hello! What kind of gardening are ya doing?
JenJen- Sorry to hear about the little guys tooth! I am also a stress eater-
I've found that if I can keep a food journal- then It slows me down a little!
and sometimes, If i can take deep breaths, and pray, or just try to release the stress, it helps a bit....journalling the reasons Im stressed works for me too....
Countingdown: Hello! Have a good day!
    Andi: Hello!
Stephanie:sorry you have to deal with a sick kiddo! And 2 lbs ROCKS! way to go !
Cakses:Way to go! I'm trying to avoid cookies too!
    Cathy:mmmmm that salad sounds good!
Jelyn:wow! thats a lot of exercisin!! you go girl!
Heather: Good luck at spinning!! (maybe a pillow and duct tape would help?? )
    Karen: Hello!HOws your day?
Lonnie: Hi! sending "calming kids down" vibes to ya! hope you have a good day!
Montecrisco: Good job an staying op! And 12 min jogging! :Woohoo:
Jen-what are you writing?? Must be nice to have a hubby who will be Mr mom!lol
Howdy to everyone that I missed! We sure have an awesome team!!
Quote: Way to go RED team!! We only had 4 people use freebies this week and 2 of them were just accidents! 1 person has never even started a weigh in thread so I imagine they just arent doing the challenge. Thats the best turnout I think I've seen in any round yet! Excellent job on committing to yourself and getting those weights posted!! Red team rocks!
ok, so i had an adventure last night for our 7 year anniversary.....(we seem to have a lot of adventures..lol) We went for a pina colada, game of pool, and shared a meal (fun!) then we went out to our property (we are staying in town at a friends, since our road is very wet and mushy...) and made it through some mudholes only a quad would get through...then we were all relaxed, and DH wasnt paying attention to the road, drove into a soft spot( a tiny one compared to what we made it through already!), and bam we were stuck up to the doors!! Needless to say, I got some extra exercise diggin in the clay, and walking back out to the main road.(2km)..with my shoes falling off, so I hung my socks in a willow bush for us to remember our 7 year ann. when we drive by! lol (we abandoned our truck....good thing i have another back up beater! lol)
Im hoping our road will be dry in a week or tow, so i can be home!! and start my garden!!
WEll, this post has taken me 1 1/2 hours! Wow! lots of great reading on this thread though!
Ive got lots of housework to go do, and then helping my ma move more stuff tonight, so Ill see you all later!
    have a great day!

At least one of you two love me!!!

    You know I do girly!!!!
  • Tina, Happy Anniversary!!!! Aw, dh is so sweet, I'm glad you like your gift!!!! Enjoy it!

Karla, wow, you certainly did have an adventure didn't you! I don't know if I would be a happy girl if that had happened to me. LOL I am definitely not the adventurous type when it comes to stuff like that! You two will certainly always remember this year though, won't you!

Well, I'm off to the grocery. I HATE the grocery store. I have real anxiety when it comes right down to it, a long story! LOL

I have eaten terribly the last couple days, I'm not really sure why? It's bothering me though that I can seem to give up so easily on a whim without really thinking about it. I know that my bingeing is trying desperately to hang around and I am fighting that every waking moment.

Anywho, ladies have a fabulous day and stay strong and keep shining!!!!

Danielle-Yup...lol...what is hilarious is that this happened a few years ago(on our anniversary), when we first bought the property, we werent living there yet, so went to camp overnight, but I got my TOM, and was scared of bears, so we tried to drive out in middle of night, and got stuck! (but now we are more experienced getting stuck-ers) haha....
Dont worry about the bad eating! todays a new day! start over! you can do it!

    Yay! dandk0204! 9 lbs ! wowser!
  • thistime and sugar, I too have an 11 yo dd who will be 12 in august, but THINKS she is 18! Oh the attitude this girl has! and on top of that she started her monthly back in December so that is just something else to throw on top of the attitude... hormones!!
Karla: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Sounds like you all had an adventursome night! lol, hey at least you have a funny story to look back at and remember huh?
Tina: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you also! dh is sweet for such a nice gift!
DandK: CONGRATS on the weight loss this past week! YOU GO GIRL! Keep up the great work!
  • Hi everyone
I've made a decision. Everyday I tell myself "I'm going to stay on plan today". Well today I decided I'm aiming for a whole week. This one day thing isn't cutting it! I figured if I told all of you then I have a better chance of succeeding because I wouldn't want to let my team down if you all know it!
So that's it. As of today I am on plan and I am going to try to do so for 7 days!!
Yikes! Hope I can make it. I really want some chocolate...haha.
  • The Red Team badges are up!

The following people still need to post badge logs so I can add stuff to it:

    *cakses

    *momtotomandalex

    Thanks!
  • WOW! I got a badge! I wasn't sure if I was going to get one or not. I had signed up to go to NC and did my exercise for saturday, but didn't get a chance to log in and post my miles on sunday and on monday the thread was already closed. But I guess I did enough miles to get to NJ? Cool! Not sure what the badges are for, still cool!
  • Quote: Hey what part of Texas are you from? I'm from Ft. Worth, me and the boys are heading home in July and I can't wait!!

I need to go check mine to see if i made it too....been busy was trying to catch up on this chat post...yall have been busy.
i did a lot to workouts this morning, most not on my plan. hubby's plan for me was 2 arm workouts and a 20 min jog on the treadmill...but did a 1 mile WATP and about half the walk & kick dvd (about 1 mile i think)....and did the arm workouts but the leslie sansone upper body workout (about 30 minutes)...been busy. trying to quit smoking and hubby's been making me mad since yesterday, so this morning when he was aggrevating me and i wanted to smoke i worked out. i had the dvds playing on the old tv under our carport to show my neighbors the WATP isnt just marching in place and i'd get mad or wanna smoke, and i would just start doing the workouts on the tv...to the sum of an extra 1.25 hr of exercise on top of everyhting else shoudl be interesting today...need to do my jog attepmt while son is sleeping and i have time for it and a shower before needing to wake him up and get my daughter from school..

    toodles!!
  • Yay! to all us Reddies that got badges....
and keep going to all those who are gonna get them this week!
  • well i just updated my beach hopping post for todays workouts....100 minutes for today (which is higher than normal)...but with no cigarettes to smoke today i'm working out a lot instead to try to help avoid the typical weight gain with quiting....wish me luck.
  • Y'all, I feel like such a dingbat...I JUST NOW figured out what the badges are for.... so I am now participating in the exercise challenge! I'm going to include the time I work on improving my Push It Challenge numbers.
