thank you everyone for your support and help/ But what about an exercise thread for us blue team? is it possible we could have one if we already don't? Like have a daily exercise challenge or something and one weekly one or something?
Okay I give up on the blue cheerleader. I added it to my signature but I can't see it. Oh well.
Well I got caught up at lunch time but didn't have time to respond and I just finished getting caught up on what I missed since then...needless to say most of what I will say will be generic.
Lisa, Nori & vixjean--Your families are in my thoughts and I will echo someone else please take care of yourselves too.
Congrats on the losses so far. Unless I lose my mind bw now & Saturday I should post a loss also. TOM is due to arrive anyday now. I think he will be in effect next week though.
All of the furbabies are precious.
I won't put up a ticker because that's a form of sabotage for me. Posting my weight once a week in a separate thread works better. I will say here right now that my goal is to lose 2-3 lbs a week. If I lose more or less that would be fine too. Any loss is fantastic to me.
Here are my kitties, while we're into posting photos
The one in the foreground is Thor, the one in the back with his head on his brother is Loki. They're our grumpy old man ex-shelter cats, and we love them. I'd say they love us but sometimes I wonder. I do, however, know that they love our bed!
My brother has a chocolate lab puppy that he named Loki too! He told me it's the name of the god of mischief, which is perfect for his dog. LoL
Findingfawn-Lions and Tigers and Bears OH MY! Wow that's quite a pet Your dog is adorable!
Chellez - Grats on the car! Not so grats on the no dinner. Get some food in you!
Like Tawnya I would like to see some sort of exercise accountability thread, too. (Unless one is being started and I somehow skipped over it! So. Many. Posts! )
About chinchillas and their (adorable) dust bathing. Instead of water, they use dust to keep their skin clean of oils and things. (They don't like being splashed with water! It ruins their (soft & ohsofluffy) fur.)
here is fur baby Jetson with real baby Leah its an old picture but he hasnt chnged he is a corgi x lab.. and is a very nice dog.. he is 7 fur baby no2 RASCAL which has been kicked becuase of real baby leah is allergic lol He live with my friend now he is 9

Can I start a thread or does someone else have to? If I can do it, I'll start one tomorrow, it's alittle late for me. I actually did good on eating today.....that's because I was out doing stuff all day. Yay for me and my good eating today.
I was out and about all day today so I've just done a quick catch-up on all the posts from today. Whew, we're a chatty group!!
I've had a much better eating day today than yesterday. The potluck I was at had lots of healthy foods so I munched on fruit and veggies and banana bread for the most part. I'm just finally eating my supper right now at 9 pm so I don't think I'll be doing any late-night snacking with all these veggies in my stomach.
I went to my clinic run tonight and it went really well despite all the stressing I was doing. Last week I'd been totally intimidated by everyone looking like super fit runners, but tonight I was wearing my brand new much-needed running pants and my old running jacket I dug out of storage. How dorky am I that I felt better because my clothes fit in better?! During the lecture part I was sitting next to an "extra curvy" girl and I felt very comforted by knowing I wasn't the only one! The run went really well (4K in 35 minutes) and it was nice to run with my friend who is taking the clinic with me.
With her as my running buddy, you guys on here, and DH being fantastically supportive I think I've got one solid support system in place!
I'm a proud new owner of a 2008 VW GTI.... I've been sitting in a dealership for 4 and a half hours just so I could find out my credit score is better than Daniel's so I had to be the main buyer of the car.
Shame I can't drive a manual...
Sounds familiar, what we do for our loved ones, I own a 2006 Scion TC that I can't drive either, because it's manual! LOL!
Wow, 29 pages long already?!? Awesome! Hope the enthusiasm lasts
Hello everyone!
I'm Nancy -- you can call me Nancy, Gracenote, Grace or Gracie...
I am a 26 year old wife and a new mother... my baby boy is 3 months old. He's so cute and I love him to bits! Although being a mom can be stressful at times, especially since I'm a full-time mom, AND business owner along with my husband. We run an online business from home and it can get stressful very quickly with a baby at home. It's very new for me.
In addition to all that, trying to lose weight and live a healthy lifestyle can be extremely challenging. It's so easy to say "screw it" on a day when I'm feeling stressed out. I have a tendency to put myself last on my to-do list. I'm also an emotional eater. Those 2 make a bad combination!
Hopefulpinkangel, I saw your post and was curious to learn about Couch to 5K and I downloaded the MP3 Podcasts online. I did my first session yesterday and I can't wait to do session #2 tomorrow! Can't wait to be running for 30 minutes straight!
A big thanks for Roni (Diva) who was kind to give me the "rights" to our little blue pom pom girl. (Thanks, Roni. You might be on one of the other teams, but you're okay in my book!) Please feel free to use the cheerleader.....liberally!...in your posts. You can right click on her image, go to properties, and copy the address. Then, when posting, click on the icon for images(yellow box with a mountain) and paste the address in the form that comes up. Voila! Instant cheer.
Hope everyone has a great on-plan day. I'll check back in again later.
Go Blue!
Nancy - Aren't they WONDERFUL?! They're for everyone to use! She's our little blue mascot ^^ Check out the above quote for all the info
Oh, and here's my baby! He's 3 months old and I MISS HIM! (He's spending the night with Grandma and Grandpa because I desperately needed the sanity break with dh being sick... but I miss my baby!!)
