I finally said no when offered some chocolate - I am chocoholic usually so that was hard but I did it today!

That takes strength, Karencat! I did another 4am jog this morning, and ate sensibly for the first time in ages...
Also, made brownies for Thirdling's class and didn't eat any.
Oh, shoot. That's three good things. I should have saved two for later

Hey, peeps! Has everyone melted in the heat?

I bought a mini-fridge and stocked it with healthy things- greek yogurt, cherries, hummus- so I'm not tempted to go for the cookies/biscuits and stuff.

MagicSusan - Not melting where I AM - freezing at the moment

one good choice for me today

Went for a 1 hour walk with my 9 yr old daughter included downhill / uphill sections too this time - walk took about 8000 steps plus another 3750 ish steps today so around 11750 steps

I brought my self a new phone and ended up with a new number - gave my 9yr old my old ph
my other daughter miss 11 got a new phone - so anyway I reset my tracker to see if it would sync better with my phone... yes and no I removed and re installed the software for it *(Garmin connect app) and it synced fine the first time and second time- but last time it did same crap
and came up not completed - dam it

Girls made - Anzac biscuits - Yo-Yo 's even though they still need the filling done and being sandwiched together and a chocolate cake
good decision here - not eating any of it today!

You're doing better than me, Karencat- I'm still struggling to fit in exercise...

But at least I had edamame for lunch instead of egg-salad (full of mayo!)

Played Pokemon Go with 2/3 of my kids for two hours instead of sitting on my butt.

Well done, envelope! I miss jogging; I just can't seem to fit it into my schedule at the mo, but am planning to make it a priority this fall.

Welcome, daughter42! Nice to have you aboard.

I walked to the shop today instead of taking the car!

Daughter42 - that was a good choice!

Magicsusan - Not having time in my schedule is my problem too, or at least it is during the school year. The thing is, if I get myself out jogging, I don't want to "waste" that effort so I eat better, and then I lose weight. If I am not watching what I eat and getting out to jog, somehow the weight starts sneaking back on. I NEED to make time to jog and take care of myself.

I just got back from jogging. It was a tough one, but it felt good to push through and finish.

Envelope, I think I would actually have the time, it's having time regularly that's eluding me at the moment. I used to go in the mornings, as soon as the kids were off to school. It was a slot that worked. Now, I could go, but it would be like, Monday moring, Wednesday evening, Saturday afternoon... I'm just not that flexible, mentally, I guess

Seriously, though, one good choice I made today was to get my lardy donkey back here after two weeks of stuffing my face on holiday. Also had fruit and quark for lunch today. That must be worth something.

I am on the same page as daughter42, I have (re) joined 3FC (and myfitnesspal) for support and accountability. Today I am so tired from a little bit of walking and housework, I feel like I need a nap - but I want to spend the energy to say hi! to everyone, you all seem very nice!

Well, done, all!
Alabamagirl, baby steps that equal a creeping loss is the best possible scenario, because it will most likely be maintainable!
Hello, still trying!
Dietcokehead, that's a *major* achievement. I can't for the life of me figure out why it's so hard, but it bloody is.

my one good thing - I REALLY wanted to binge last night and didn't (It's my worst time, after dinner) and there was stressful problem after problem. My brain was telling me I was starving (although my tummy still felt stuffed) - so yay! me
