This sucks!

I am so tired of being SICK! This cold seems to get a little worse every dang day. Yesterday I really wanted to run since my race is 1 week away. Instead I came home from work around 1:30, took a nap until 4, watched a little tv and had dinner and went back to bed just after 7 because my head was pounding so hard I thought I might throw up. This morning I am feeling better than last night but still not good. I NEED to run on Saturday, I made my Dad sign up for this race and I’ve wanted to be able to run the whole way. 3 weeks ago I was training so hard and just knew this was going to be a good run for me. Now I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to run…

On a good note, eventhough last week was bad for me with both food and exercise, I lost 2lbs!

My 100th Post!

I went MIA again for a bit, sorry about that. I have a nice little chest cold. It started as just a sore throat but has moved into my chest, blah… My race is in 11 days and I really hope it’s gone soon so I can continue to train for it. I already registered, which means I have to do it or I’m out $22! I want to do it, of course but not if I can’t breathe.
I forgot to post my weigh-in last week but I did go down a pound. I don’t know what will happen this Friday but I haven’t been exercising due to my cold. I’m hoping to run a little today just to see how it goes.
I really need to step it up and kick this weight loss into gear. I want my 100lbs in 1 year! That was always my goal and I know it’s possible if I put my heart into it again. 12.5lbs in 11 weeks!

3 Weeks?

I gained 3lbs this week because I did a total of 0 minutes exercise. I now have 3 weeks until the 5k race with my Dad and I was a training fool for 2 weeks straight then just let it slip away. I am going to run either today or tomorrow and I really hope I didn’t loss all my stamina. I’ll get it back if I did!

270 days already!?

I can’t believe Heather and I have been doing WW for 9 months!  Crazy!  I lost another 2.5lbs this week putting me at 89.5lbs lost total. 

June Already!?

I forgot to write about my weigh in this week.  How could I forget, I hit my 3rd mini-goal!!!  I have now lost 87lbs since September.  I can’t believe that I am so close to the 230’s, I have been trying to get to 240lbs for what seems like FOREVER!  My next goal is 216 and that weight is something I have never experienced as an adult.  I really don’t know what to expect, it’s a little scary yet exciting at the same time.

I went for a run today.  New current record - 36:50.  This week I am running 8 minutes walking 2.  It obviously went well because it cut over a minute off my time.  I need to call my Dad and get his butt training.  We have 5 weeks until our race!
