The Weather is Getting Better
Yesterday we went for a nice walk with the whole family.. to do what? Drop off the dry cleaning! I was thinking about what I wrote yesterday how we used to walk to do everything. There is really no reason why we shouldn’t be doing our local errands by foot. We are walking distance to most of the things we have to do.. including groceries. So today we’re going to take a walk to the grocery store. And not to the one 0.5km away that sells everything for $1-2 more.. but the cheaper one that’s a little further.
We’re eating vegetables like its going out of style, so I can’t wait until the Farmers Markets open here. It’s so amazing to go and buy fresh vegetable and fruit and meet the farmers. My eldest daughter loves going.. she tells everyone she got strawberries from the “furmer”.
Last year I took her up to the berry farm a couple of times. She loves picking blueberries and strawberries. They also have a beautiful petting zoo and the best fresh fruit ice-cream ever!
I’m also getting impatient to start my garden. This year I’m planning on going bigger than last year.. which means it will be an even bigger disaster, or I will have A LOT of zuchinni! I’m excited.. I just want to get my hands dirty.
