Hi, I’m celebrating getting to one-half year (roughly) in spite of a 0.0 weight change this week. That’s right, no loss, first time since mid-November, before I came to Colorado.
Reason: snackie, snackie, snackie. I lost track of how many times this week I opted for things that were obviously not good in the diet direction: popcorn, pudding, tortilla chips, yummy dip with sour cream and raspberry jam, frozen raspberries, raspberry and banana homemade *ice cream,* honey in tea, etc. All that and a fruit or two almost daily. You get the idea.
Guess I can’t eat like that while not exercising and expect to lose weight.
Given all that, I’m very pleased to have held last week’s weight. I’d been losing pretty fast and steadily but last week my weight bounced up right after weigh in and took the whole week to work back down.
No worries! I’m still here and it has been almost six months (tomorrow is the official day of my next half year). I’m happy, and back to having 8 ounces whiting (fish) poached, 6 eggs scrambled, 8 ounces frozen spinach and a tomato for brunch. Yum!
Breakfasts almost always consist now of several eggs and lean protein with a couple veggies. If I’ll continue to eat lean protein and veggies later in the day, keeping quantities much lower and adding a little fruit, I do fine. Yea, fine!
What’s working for you?
