Good Morning, Everyone!

Nancy Getting back to a normal routine will be good. I'll bet that some of the gain is water weight.

Steps from yesterday: 9,864

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

The best diet plan to follow.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

December 30

1 Corinthians 10:31
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Leah remembered the question her pastor had asked, 'What do you think God wants you to eat?' At first, it had seemed like a silly question, but the more Leah thought about it, the more she realized there really wasn't any food God didn't want to let her have. It was the quantities and frequency of consumption that Leah realized God would disapprove of. Moderation in everything was the rule she needed to follow. She felt so much better. Her diet didn't need to be a lot of heavy sacrifices. All she needed to do was develop some self-control, and with God's help, she would.

Today's thought: Let my eating and drinking offend no one, especially God!

Good Morning!

Diana: That Biltmore tour sounds wonderful...Oh, I watched a Xmas video of old Quebec City. It is so pretty with a chateau, narrow streets with boutiques and Christmas trees, and carolers, and musicians and good food beautiful art, a tram, a toboggan path, etc. There was an old building with a painting on the side of past and present that had a surreal kind of quality. In one building, there were big vertical screens (tvs?) in windows with a recording of a caroler on each window. It was coordinated so the carolers sang together...so it looked like a giant person singing in each tv...really nice... Oh, and there was snow... I think I will look up the Biltmore on YouTube... ...I have to ask, What is the chocolate/bubbles tour?

Nancy: Oh, I saw a picture of Donner's Pass--17 feet of snow. Wow!

Yesterday, I biked in the am and did exercises and weights later. I think my diet was okay, but I lost track of the oatmeal cookies. I made them with apple sauce, walnuts, and EVOO. And when I eat them, I want to eat more... A family member made cabbage soup. I tried it...not bad. I ate cheese and egg whites on a tortilla this am. Oh, I made a mistake about the flaxseed. It costs less than $2.50 for 45 tbls. Not bad. I bought another bag... My grocery store is still out the the stevia mini-pacs. I guess they got them in and are all gone again. It is frustrating because I am trying to not shop more than 1X/2 weeks...

Hello all
WI slight drop but still up from last month and way up from Oct 1
WO nothing again today

I was experimenting today and tried my hand at cooking paella. I used onion, garlic, green pepper, chicken, chorizo, shrimp and of course the rice. I even bought some saffron. Maybe it was just me but I found it kinda boring. It seemed to be just a variation of jambalya. Help if you have any tricks.

So far today I have mostly eaten well. I almost forgot the small amount of Lays I had earlier with some sour cream ranch dip. Yikes I need to plug that in to my food diary. But even so my calories will be under 1200 today.

As long as the crazy snack witch stays off my shoulder and whispering in my ear.....oh wait Nancy, you wear hearing aids...hehe take them out then you can't hear the snack attack coming.
