Good Morning!

CieCie: I haven't been watching Jeopardy recently, so I don't know who performed the best as MC. I suppose Ken probably "deserved" the MC role because of his knowledge of trivia...but there are lots of other factors that determine who gets the position...like ratings, money, speaking skill, humor, politics, etc...
Yangster: Glad you are A-okay!
Rachel: Scrabble babble...I think I am playing today, too.

I exercised and did a shorter bike and swim yesterday and I did the efflexor. I ate out and had turkey dinner and pie (again). I was really "good" and ate half... Later I ate the rest of the garlic bread and the pie. This am, I had turkey breakfast. It was so good. I weighed in and I am doing okay. I wish that I was a pound lower at this point of the month, but any loss is a good loss.

Good morning to everyone!
WI down a bit more, so maybe for me eating my main meal mid day and having something light in the evening is the key? DH and I like to go for a late lunch early dinner (between 1-3pm) then the dinner hour comes and goes and nether of us are hungry so we just have a snack.
WO none today my body needs a rest. You know when you are in bed and your hip hurts from a sore muscle, its a rest day.

Today we have no real plans other than general house maintenance. In Laws are fine right now, but we will most likely drive up at the first of the week.

ciecie and Rachel, I love jeopardy! as a matter of fact my brothers, sister and I all buy these desk calendars that are trivia type games. We exchange the questions weekly. One brother does 'Jeopardy', I do 'fact or crap' and my sister does one that is so difficult it makes Jeopardy look like kindergarten LOL

Smile NEW! Loss weight by 100% natural ingredients backed by scientific studies

If your doctor recommends it, there are ways to lose weight safely. A steady weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds per week is recommended for the most effective long-term weight management.

That said, many eating plans leave you feeling hungry or unsatisfied. These are major reasons why you might find it hard to stick to a healthier eating plan.

However, not all diets have this effect. Low carb diets and whole food, lower calorie diets are effective for weight loss and may be easier to stick to than other diets.

Here are some ways to lose weight that employ healthy eating, potentially lower carbs, and that aim to:

reduce your appetite

cause fast weight loss.

improve your metabolic health at the same time

One way to lose weight quickly is to cut back on sugars and starches, or carbohydrates. This could be with a low carb eating plan or by reducing refined carbs and replacing them with whole grains.

When you do that, your hunger levels go down, and you generally end up eating fewer calories.

With a low carb eating plan, you’ll utilize burning stored fat for energy instead of carbs.

If you choose to eat more complex carbs like whole grains along with a calorie deficit, you’ll benefit from higher fiber and digest them more slowly. This makes them more filling to keep you satisfied.

A 2020 study confirmed that a very low carbohydrate diet was beneficial for losing weight in older populations.

Research also suggests that a low carb diet can reduce appetite, which may lead to eating fewer calories without thinking about it or feeling hungry.

Note that the long-term effects of a low carb diet are still being researched. It can also be difficult to adhere to a low carb diet, which may lead to yo-yo dieting and less success in maintaining a healthy weight.

There are potential downsides to a low carb diet that may lead you to a different method. Reduced calorie diets can also lead to weight loss and be easier to maintain for longer periods of time.

If you opt for a diet focusing instead on whole grains over refined carbs, a 2019 study correlated high whole grain with lower body mass index (BMI)

Smile tips to help you lose weight

1. Do not skip breakfast
Skipping breakfast will not help you lose weight. You could miss out on essential nutrients and you may end up snacking more throughout the day because you feel hungry.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Ciecie Have a good trip.

Steps from yesterday: 13,591

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

December 19

Hebrews 12:11
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Jeremy was good for Lisa. Whenever she did something she shouldn't or ate something that wasn't on her diet, he was quick to chastise her for it. She hated when he did it, but that made it all the more effective. There were times she wanted to throttle him, but most of the time she wanted to kiss him. He was the reason her dieting was working, and though sometimes it was annoying, she wouldn't change it for anything. God will help keep us in line, if we let Him. We need someone to watch over us; to keep us out of mischief. God will make sure we last until we triumph, if we will allow Him to do so.

Today's thought: The call of fattening food is not as loud as the call of God to do what's right!
