Good morning!

Novangel, that's wonderful! I'm so glad for your dad. Such a scary incident.

Madetothrive, great story about your book. Your grandkid's pride made me smile.

Veil, it must have been a delicious day!

Kelijpa, enjoy your last day!

Diana, you're almost out of those 170s again.

novangel - good news! happy for your dad

ok, the extra water pound from yesterday is gone, now have 2 more to go. Grrrrr...

Rode 11 miles and DH came with me last night for 600 calories. Had a bison frank on a piece of toasted sourdough w/lite swiss and dijon mustard for dinner, and a pudding snak pak for dessert.

B - belvita
L - romaine lettuce/chicken breast/energy mix/bolt house farms blue cheese
S - fresh cut mango and/or a little cup of cut pears
D - chicken bacon alfredo pizza - 2 slices as usual

going to ride my bike again for 11 miles tonight...DH says he's not going to because he's tired, so I'll go it alone. Sometimes I like to do that!

Thank you! They are 4 1/2 and 6. It's amazing to be loved as much as they love me!

MadetoThrive...thanks for sharing your book.

I think I have that extra 1/4 inch on good days, so 5'3" is probably accurate but I want that 1/4" for some reason. The weight tables are a general range/visual to help anyone find their lane. It helps me stay in my own lane and not become complacent.

B Bacon, eggs, coffee w/MacNut Oil
L Almased, ForDel, roasted kale
D Chicken, lacy swiss, green beans
B Kombucha w/Gr. Yogurt, green tea

those don't look right...it should be based on BMI

plus, even the BMI charts don't take in to consideration how much muscle a person has.

Hello all, class is over, success. We are currently camping in the osceola national forest near ocean pond, cooling off nice now.

Food not great, by that I mean it tastes great but is probably isn't great for me.

Novangel-glad to hear good news about your dad.

I'm going to lay off the leg today. We'll see about tomorrow.

Ian, cherry juice eh? I need help in the constipation department. My meds cause problems. I've tried stool softeners but they don't work and laxatives make me sick.

The post office lost my statins. *sigh

E: 25 minutes of gentle yoga.

B: 1.5 cups cereal, 1 cup almond milk, 3 crackers with peanut butter, 1/2 grapefruit.
L: 1/2 pack chow mein & veggies, extra 1/2 cup chopped veggies, 1 egg and some soy sauce.
S:1/2 cup low fat yogurt, handful frozen berries.
D: 1 cup garlic quinoa and brown rice mix, 1/3 can black beans, 1 piece dark chocolate

novangel: I'm glad your dad is out of the woods!

Syckgirlsfv: I notice with some BMI charts that they list 19-25 as healthy. Isn't it 18.5-25? Just something I've wondered about.

Hi Everyone!

DH decided to go hunting tomorrow AM. Hopefully Cody won't be howling!

CoolMom I wanted to ask what brand of coats did you get for your family. You mentioned they were warm and light weight. Are the kids getting excited yet? How long is the actual flight?

Kelijpa Have fun camping! Sounds nice! Great job staying active while away on your trip.

Penny Are you doing your yoga from DVD or online?

Flower I couldn't get the link to work. I hope the coconut does what you want it to do. Ha Ha maybe you can mix some cocoa in it. That's sure to make it taste better.

Veil I bet you had some good food at the cooking party.

Momwithdogs There's never enough coffee. I have told this story here before but you weren't here then. I will share with you. I use a lot of coffee since I like it strong. When I find it on sale I will buy a lot. DH will ask me "is there a shortage of coffee?" I will say, "there is now, since I bought it all." I love my coffee!

Kris Congrats on your work! I can only imagine how proud those little ones were of you when you went to their school.

Novangel Good news about your Dad!

Syckgirlsfv Good job getting rid of that pound.

Syckgirlsfv & Mossy I find those charts perplexing. When I dropped below 150, I looked very thin. Recently, I went back to look at some pictures and OMG I looked too thin. DH even commented about it. Back then I had people in the grocery store comment that I needed to eat something. I think a good weight for me is in the 150-160 range. I need to get back there to determine what will be best. When I was below 150 you could see veins bulging on my forehead. My hands looked like a skeletal. I don't know why I looked so thin at that weight. I know other people my same height and 130 is their red line in the sand. I would look awful at the weight.

Waving Hi all around! Enjoy your evening.

Diana, we got the Columbia mighty light jacket with omni-heat. Unbelievably light and warm! Our travel day will start at 6am and not end until we arrive at our rented apartment 24hrs later. Eek! The long flight is 12 hrs.

I did great on my calories today, as I have been, but tonight I am wishing I could have a drink or something for anxiety. I also wanted to eat seconds of dinner. Feeling the pre-travel anxiety! And hoping I am able to keep my calories in check during travel. I mean, eat like a normal person.

Hey everyone- love this thread.
Yesterday managed to stick to my diet MOSTLY- except for one little hiccup where I got stuck with no food - which was a great reminder of the importance of PLANNING!!!!
Meal prep is so ESSENTIAL to diet success (for me anyhow).
Today is shaping up so far so good!
Keep going everyone

Diana, if you want, you can google coconut oil and the words weight loss, or health benefits. It would be important though to research the kind of oil to get. I did that. So I could give you some info if you want

I am so sorry, being self centered not writing personals again. second day in a row. Today I was pretty good until I found out at 10:30pm that my friend died. I tried to visit her today. But they said she was sleeping. No one knew she was at end of life. It came as a shock to people. I found out by email. Was in shock. Then had panic attack. Took everything under the sun I could find for panic and then......... drank cocoa. yes. I drank cocoa. 2 cups. and now there will be a 3rd. Other than that today I had chicken steamed white fish and 2 salads with low carb veggies. and my coconut oil, protein and lemon frozen thingy. with 5 tbs of cocoa powder before I found out about Laura's passing. Panic attack a bit better than what it was. whew. I really loaded upon stuff. ( beside cocoa). So thats my day
I hope everyone has an awesome Saturday

Hi everyone!

momwithdogs- yes, the cooking party did become an eating party! We made Indian food and I LOVE Indian food. My favorite is veggie samosas. They are little dough pockets stuffed with spiced potato & peas. I had a weeee too much!

skckgirlsfv- Yes, BMI charts are a better way to gauge weight in my opinion too. But... overall charts never peg me correctly. Being over 6 foot-- sometimes I am not even ON the chart

novangel- Good news about your dad!

flower123- I am so sorry to hear about your friend Laura passing. What are some of your favorite memories of her?
