Hi there guys. Rusty I have expect to see that you have posted the super flies. Man they are sssoooo cool. Ok MG we need to find you some depends or something. You know MG you are the first adult I know of to say that they are excited this year at Christmas. Good for you. The tool man is hooked on the net but we only have one puter and somewhere I fall at the end of the list on using it. Is everyone ready for that wonderfully laid out meal tomorrow? Here's to a day of enjoyment.

Zah Ice Cream Maker, dahling, was a hit at our house! We made Mandarin Chocolate Sherbet (stirred, not shaken!) last night and ate half of it while watching a couple James Bond movies. I was thinking - bad girl - but then I remembered that despite the awesomely rich chocolate flavor it was entirely fat free. Got the recipe at fatfree.com and made it with OJ concentrate, skim milk (dry), cocoa powder, vanilla, a little bit of Kahlua to keep it smooth, and a cup of sugar.

When I start making cups of ices and sherbets and sorbets just for me - I'll substitute Nutrasweet for the white sugar and lose 770 calories (Yikes!) BB LOVED it. I was a little surprised since he thought the orange juice/chocolate might be weird. I was just trying to find something that I had all the ingredients for.

Today I'll make creamsicle slush - nonfat dry milk and the rest of the OJ frozen concentrate, and little vanilla. I've read that a tablespoon of vodka is flavorless but keeps the mixture from freezing solid when you leave it in the freezer longer than a couple hours. This is important when you don't use sugar and/or fat.

A *Thumper* Massager? Sounds like something from the Disney Store! LOL We got a couple Conair massage pillows for the computer chairs. We sit here for HOURS and HOURS and they will definitely come in handy for the lumbar region of the back.

My Momz sent us an Oriental Falcon cross-stitch she made for us - 28,000+ stitches! Good thing she started early. It is gorgeous!!

BoxerBob was working at cross purposes, I think. He got me a gorgeous Salter stainless steel 6 pound scale for the kitchen AND chocolate covered cherries and some Andes mints. Now what do I do?? I did eat three or four of each yesterday. Save them for one pound losses and enjoy one each for a reward til they're gone? I have nothing else in the house remotely tempting. LOL

On to 2002! (Doesn't it feel like five weekends in two weeks with the holidays on Wednesday?)

Thanks for the web site Rusty. Gonna to check it out and give it a whirl. What I got for Christmas 1. All made it home safe and sound. 2. A wonderful viedo of my son opening gifts(now is America's funniest home viedos still on). 3. To see the wonderment in the kiddies eyes. 4. The best coloring a son could ever give his mom. That's about it. Nothing from tool man, not even a Merry Christmas or an I love you. Oh, well I guess that I knew better than to expect anything. Hope that all of you got what you wanted. I didn't wake to find 20lbs gone so I know that Santa didn't visit. Rusty you have made my mouth water talking about those frozen treats, guess that I am goin to have to try some of them out.

Happy Hollidays

Saw one of my fave commercials today...for Bally's Fitness Centers...it's people opening pressies and saying excitedly.."Ooooohh !!! just what I wanted!! A Big Butt!!" and "Oh Honey..you're so wonderful to get me these Love Handles I've been wanting for so long!"LMAO...it's so funny...and allows me to laff at myself and be comfortable with it...Happy HOHO everyone.

Hotspashes, that commercial sounds funny. Wish they aired it here.
I had a great Christmas. Not only did I get almost everything I wanted, but the kids were happy. They had an awesome time. And to me, that's what it is all about.
I got: A turkey Roaster (It was supposed to be a crockpot, I am taking it back), two industrial-type cookie sheets (the kind I use at the bakery, they are so awesome), a fountain, a gorgous chef's knife, a small gridle, a large two burner gridle/grill, a new expansion pack for the Sims and various other items. Didn't get a massager. That would be cool. Got one for my sister, though and she loves it.
Have to work on my resolutions. Definately to get back on track. But I want to be serious about them, not just write a list.
Have a great day all!!!!
Lora

My New Year's Resolutions:
1.Obviously lose weight. About 60 lbs.

2.Have the kitchen totally clean when I go to bed. Dishes washed, counters, stove and table washed off. Floor swept but mopping is optional.

3.Be a better person. Help people who need it, support my family, love my mother and visit her more.

4.Get my finances in order.

That's all for now. I probably could go on and on and on. But, I won't.

Default Resolutions

Ok here are some of mine
1. lose weight. I think that I should be realistic and try to loose and maintain 40.
2. To keep a positive attitude about life.
3. To be more active. Moving can't hurt in the first one.

If I were to have more it would be harder for me to keep up with them so that is all I am goin to try for now. Mg there is now way I would try to get the kitchen clean before I went to bed every night. I don't get home from work until 10 pm and there is no way that I want to spent that quiet time getting up close and personal with a dish rag.

Here's to a wonderful New Year!

Sandy

Talking New Year's Resolutions

Sounds like everyone had a HAPPY HOLIDAY!

I love your calorie intake graph Rusty, nothing like seeing the hard data

My New Years Resolutions or Dec. 30th Resolutions (Cause there is no time like the present to start!)

1. Lose 84 lbs.
2. Be a better person.
a. Quit being judgemental
b. Try to be more understanding
c. Define my anger
d. Look for the good in others
3. Finish my WWT manual and get my class 2 license
4. Finish my BITS for work
5. Respond to e-mails sooner than half past forever
6. Love myself

Wow do I repeat myself? I have my all girl-movie empowerment marathon yesterday. What would you gals put on your list mine went:

Girl Power
1. Bridget Jones Diary
2. The Long Kiss Goodnight
3. The Matrix (okay I know its about a guy, but Trinity kicks booty)
4. Tombraider
5. Tank Girl

I had some others picked out including Charlie's Angels and Barbwire, but then American History X was calling. OMG another reason Ed Norton movies reach my top favorites of all time.

Have a lovely day and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Miss Chris
